Hey, it's Dawn and you did get my name right! It was fun spotting you in the wild and having a little chat about thrifting/reselling. I wanted to tell you that a couple of days ago I went into the Broadway store and found a BOLO brand I had never heard of - Nooworks. Super crazy-print coverall style jumpsuit that was priced at $7.99. Doesn't look like much of their stuff sells for under $100. Gotta get it listed!
I believe your suspicions about a liner are correct. I used to have a vintage coat and I’ve found an old Burberry that said “storm system” “storm gear” or something else to some effect, and my grandmother taught me that those were called “All-Weather Coats”, meaning that they could be worn in both cool weather, rain, and snow, with removable liners. I find that deeply satisfying and of course, I’m always learning about new brands from you and others. I also am so pleased to hear sales are going well recently ! While this job has so much to offer, there’s a lot that feels out of your control, like when people are buying. No wayyyy Loro Piana!!! I found a Loro piana storm system coat at the bins too! It sold for $600 and it wasn’t a trench coat, it was a shorter length. You need to sell that for at least $1K!
That trench was a great find but personally I ❤ that Pilot dress! 😍

Hi! The square around the lululemon logo actually means it went through their Like New program. People can resell their lulu back to the company and lulu will sell those items in their like new program online. All like new items have the square. Men’s or women.

I've found a few pieces thrifting that were from the like new program, and they all just have a printed stamp on the inside that says 'like new' & the outer logo is the same. The square around the logo is how the mens style was produced for a few years, but they've switched back to the regular logo now :)

I love picking up vintage things like the LL Bean top and have had pretty good luck with selling them but it’s mostly because I love that style of 90s mom stuff so much.

I had a Laura Piano storm system trench coat that I pulled out of the bins but mine was Loro Piana for Armani sold for 168. which was a steal! I often leave the bins mystified. Lately I don't come through that part of town until almost closing time and last week I pulled out a Mongolian fur and suede jacket that I sold this week for 175. along with 4 like new Cleobella dresses, paid like 1.81 an item.
I found Loro Piana in Bismarck, ND. I was shocked! Also, found that Cornwall brand, but none of it has sold.
I just listed a Seasalt Cornwall dress (GW thrift), first time as well. Organic cotton which I love!
I have a NWT City Chic dress in my closet for over a year 😭
