So I search for “modest swimsuit tops” and find ones that look and fit a bit more like sports bras, and I always pair them with high waisted bottoms because I must hide my stomach. Then I like to also throw on a rash guard shirt or a big button shirt on top.

I just naturally find myself reaching for more modest clothing and so it is incredible to see someone dress trendy AND modestly. I'm only 14 and a lot of people my age wear crop tops and booty shorts, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that but its juts not me. I prefer maxi and midi skirts, turtlenecks/long sleeves and even for tops I prefer shirts that aren't cropped. I'm not insecure in revealing clothing, just uncomfortable. I am not religious in any way and my parents allow me to dress how I would like but I just enjoy wearing pieces that I feel secure in. With being curvier than most people my age it is so hard to find shirts that don't show too much cleavage or shorts/skirts that don't have my bottom hanging out, but I like to wear the combo of a plain tank top with a floral/patterned maxi or midi skirt for my everyday summer look :)

I love the outfits! Also never thought to use those really teeny tops to go over dresses and tanks. Such a good idea! I wouldn’t call my style modest as I love a crop top on occasion but some days and occasions, I just don’t want my belly out so these outfits come in handy! I love wearing tanks with dress shirts/men’s shirts over them on days where I’m too lazy to put sunscreen on my arms 😂 For a video idea that doesn’t involve thrifting, I would love to see you style some existing pieces in your closet 5-10 different ways :)

I dress like you my whole life. Its classy an think its just how I was brought up. I know when i was in my 20s i would occasionally wear short shorts or shirt tight shirts to the club but not everyday. Just wasn't comfortable. In fact i wouldn't wear sweatpants out of the house till this year. Today things are so different

Hi, there I have been watching your vids since the urban outfitters dupe video. You were actually the first RUclipsr to ever comment on my comment :) Love seeing the more modest outfits. Personally I am always looking for the same type of clothing no crop tops, no low v neck etc. I personally tend to look at blues, greens, blacks (winter type colours). I'm 51 years old, living in Norway, we always have to think about practical clothing. And layering is a part of that. We have to dress for 4 different seasons in one day. So you actually dress very much like how we do.

Modest is hottest! In the Philippines, my outfit choices often tend to side girly stuffs - dresses, skirts, off-shoulder tops, floral patterns, classy sexy. I was never really into trends but sometimes, here and there, I have some clothing items that would fall to specific categories during that specific time. But now, after moving from a tropical to a four seasoned country, my taste changed. It did a 180° turn. I now prefer comfortable, modest and "granny" style. I still am girly and still has tons of dresses but my younger self's taste is no longer here. Neither am I hyped when it comes to trends. Maybe I'm just getting older too, that I no longer prefer what's in or out? Well, whatever the real reason is, I'm completely okay with it. 😇
