Those prices are insane!!! I just moved to California from NYC most goodwill have one price like all jeans are 8.99 dresses also 8.99 tops 6.99 shoes 9.99 and I thought these prices are high I will never complain again the bins location I go to in Sacramento is 2.29 lbs and I have found amazing items at the bins
Yeah, they're crazy!! I fantasize about the days of flat pricing like that (it's like that in Kansas too where I lived previously). But we get such good stuff here that it's still manageable.
Wow so the Sacramento bins is only 30 cents a pound more than mine in rural Pennsylvania… (1.99/lb) not hating btw and 2.29/lb still adds up I’m sure. Just weird to think they all have different prices that may or may not correlate with the cost of living in the area. I know some parts of the country, the middle of the country, it’s still 1.39/lb for some.
@@zachariah7114 when I started reselling in NYC 6 years ago bins pricing was 1.69 lbs when I left New York it was 2.39 so I’m paying 10 cents less here in Cali the crazy thing is in Stockton Ca it’s 4.05 so I skip that bins location all together
Hi if you have a St Vincent De Paul thrift store , they have been getting new FRYE shoes in all styles for men and women. FYI. great haul as always. 👍🏽👍🏽
Are you as annoyed with Goodwill as I am? The pricing is out of hand even more so where you are. Is it me or don’t they get their inventory for free? Jeans should be all one price and shirts one price not staggered based on brand. I’m grateful that I have other thrift stores to source from.
I agree. Mine aren't as outrageous as mogi beth's are, but I find myself leaving a lot of stuff that I would normally buy if they hadn't priced it up so high.
The pricing went up when all the resellers started makeup these videos… Goodwill caught on and now they want a piece…I’ve been reselling since 2015. Used to be lucrative until the videos started coming out telling everyone to do and ….how to do it….🙄
I think what bothers me the most about the high prices at GW is that so many homeless folks and low income families depended on GW for their clothing and home goods and they now are having to go to churches and places that just give for free and sometimes those are hard to find! At my friends garage sale she had soooo many obviously low income people and probably some homeless that she just like gave them the necessities because it is so obvious they can’t afford GW OR SA prices. Our GW HAS ACTUALLY GONE OUT OF BUSINESS! So I’m sorry you guys that make a living thrifting and all the hard work it takes to get it to a customer that you have to pay close out prices and it is so hard to make a good profit and a living!!! Hopefully things will get better ❤️🩹
Aggree, there are people in need who use to go to Goodwill, but now it's cheaper to buy New clothes & shoes @ Walmart! They need to worry more about their mission to help those in need & not what others are doing.
Man I went to the bins today and it sucked big time. I was asking some resellers there, is this normal?, and they said yes. I was there for 6 hrs. And hardly got anything.
@@MogiBeth I’m in Middletown Pa. I think I’m going to take a trip to Portland and go to some bins there. Also Texas, that is supposed to be a great one also.
I was in Goodwill when you were filming this video. Didn't want to fangirl too much. Glad you didn't pick up the boots I considered.
No way!! Definitely come up next time if you want! Did you find anything good?
Your thrift with me vids are by far my favorite ones of yours!!!!
Yay! Thank you! That makes me happy to hear because they're my favorite to make :)
Fair harbor is a fantastic brand to sell!!!
Agree! I was going to comment on this as well.
Ohh okay good to know!!

We call it Vinnie"'s and they rock. I rarely shop at GW any more b/c they are so expensive. YAY VINNIE"S
I've been looking for that exact Teddy Fresh hoodie for so long. 😭
Oh my goodness your GW’s prices are crazy. Max price for jeans at mine is 14.99 (Mississippi). Also it looks like they mark through the tags… yuk
Those pricea are crazy high

I’m with you. Goodwill’s pricing is out of hand. They have gotten quite greedy with their profit margins...wait...their inventory is FREE

Nice brands!
What are those marks Goodwill puts on the name tags?
They're water soluble marks. Annoying but they come out in the wash. I usually just make a note in the description though.
GW prices are outrageous and i stopped shopping there.
I stick to St Vincrnt de Paul
