The best sandwich I ever had was in Paris. I was so hungry and I stopped by this sandwich shop that had fresh baguettes. They had a sandwich with ham, Swiss, and butter with a fresh baguette. I think about that sandwich like everyday

The muffaletta - you HAVE to put the olive salad on the bread (not in the middle) so that the liquids can soak into the firm bread. Wrap it up and store it for a day - even better with the soak factor.

@hen ko You're worried about the crispy breading getting soggy, but not sure if you thought your comment through. If the cutlet was on top, the bottom would get soggy, and vice-versa. One side will touch the wet condiments no matter what..
