The Roger L. Jackson finale really was the cherry on top of a Kill Count that is already one for the books. James and Chelsea just elevated themselves to whole new level. WOW.
I've replayed that segment at least six times. It was an honor to have the voice of Ghostface himself, Roger L. Jackson, do the numbers. Goddamn, I loved it, and I have loved watching this channel continue to grow!
That “OH FUCK!!! IT IS SO!!!” was basically my reaction the theatre to Dewey’s death as well, along with a lot of heart pounding and feelings of confusion/anger. Really hated to see my dude die like that.
he died just because the script wanted him to... he had a gun and he was decent shot and HE KNEW killer is not dead, and yet he would walk right next to him and turn around to give him all the time in the world to jump up... that was frustrating more than sad how they had to make him "horror movie stupid" so the script could happen
I guess it was like a child's dream becoming true since James love of horror started with the Scream franchise, i hope we got another cameo of him in Scream 6 next week
When Dewy was killed the audience gasped and someone said he didn’t die, we will just see him on a stretcher. Once we saw Gale sobbing and trying to get to his body, the entire theater room went quiet until someone yelled, “What the absolute f*ck?! They really did it this time!”. We were hurt while also being a state of disbelief.
@@DerMichael I’m still highly disturbed that it actually happened. When I saw that, I keep replaying the part when Brock had him pinned to see if Taker moved his shoulder, leg, or arm even slightly to say he wasn’t truly pinned.
Getting Roger Jackson for the to the numbers bit has got to be my FAVORITE one so far. This channel has grown so much since that first Friday the 13th Kill Count and I couldn't be happier for everyone involved
I feel that Sam’s hallucinations is a great subversion; usually a character who has a mental illness is portrayed as a villain, especially in horror movies. However Sam isn’t a villain, she is someone with a legitimate illness who is also trying to handle the fact that she’s the daughter of an infamous serial killer
There's still an element of her liking killing that I think is in Scream VI or something, which is...frustrating. Her being extra brutal and all that stuff.
@@bhoenix3213It is pretty frustrating. On one hand, it makes sense. Her dad and grandmother were both Ghostface killers. Psychosis is often considered to be a mix of genetics and external environments. She was basically fine (with medication) until people tried to kill her, and now, she's truly having to work hard to keep that side of her in check. On the other hand, I don't really know if I like the premise of our supposed new hero becoming a villain, which is where a lot of people feel her arc is going. I hope they don't go that route in the next one. It would actually be heartbreaking to see.
@@Joeysaladslover What exactly are you confused about? We've had two movies, at this point, following our new lead, Sam. Sam is the daughter and granddaughter of two Ghostface killers, and it's been established she has psychotic tendencies she's trying to keep under control. While it would make sense to have her switch to being a villain based on what I previously wrote, it would break my heart to see her give in or lose control of that side of her. It would be sad to see her lose the war. Also, it's not that I don't like the premise of the arc. It's mostly that they made her more likeable in the latest movie. A smoother transition would have been (in my opinion; no one has to agree with me) to have us like her in 5 and then get us to start hating her in 6. The thing is that Melissa was actually pretty bummed that fans didn't like her very much in 5. So, they kind of went in the other direction and made her more likeable. It's fine, but now, it would be upsetting to some of us to see her go psycho now. I will say that since this post, they've switched directors for 7. Radio Silence is, apparently, no longer involved. I'm not sure about the writers, but who knows if 7 will even have the arc? Back to Sam, though. It's kind of along the lines of the Corey arc in Halloween Ends. I don't have the premise, but I do feel like it was too rushed. In the span of about 30 minutes, we are introduced to him (in a pretty sick af cold open), we start to like him, then we start to hate him. I would have been more okay with it had they had him in Kills. Go, maybe, 3/4 of the movie having him be likeable. The last 1/4, he starts to get a little creepy or cringy, maybe? Then, in Ends, take that 30 minutes to amp up the creepiness or whatever, and follow through in the duration of the rest of the movie. I'm sorry to have written a novel, but I wanted to make my stance clear. I thought it already was, but I hope you have a better understanding of where I'm coming from. Have a good day. ☺️
I like the 'redemptive' Billy Loomis angle, because it isn't a redemption at all. It's Sam's delusions, not his literal ghost. It makes sense she'd try to find SOME good in him in her head, as a coping mechanism. She likely saw the shine of the knife handle in her periphery, but felt like it was her father pointing her to a better weapon. And that's what the reflection in that moment represents. Everything else is a delusion in her head anyway. Why not?
Honestly, this comment made me reconsider how I felt about the entire inclusion of ghost!Billy. This is an interpretation that not only makes it make sense, but also adds a lot of depth to Sam in my opinion! Thank you!
1.4k likes and only 3 comments?!1!? Let me fix that It's so sad to see super wholesome people like her to die in horror movies, but it just makes the conclusion to the madness that much sweeter
Why am I tearing up?! The Roger L. Jackson cameo makes this one of the best, if not the best, To-The-Numbers segments ever! So happy for James and the Dead Meat team. Talk about influential! Keep up the good work!
That was awesome ending. Well deserved James. Maybe next can be brad dourif doing the chucky tv kill count. That would be a true classic never going out of style type of respect imo
Wow! Hearing Roger Jackson provide end narration was incredible. Being able to watch this channel grow and evolve across several years has been superb. Looking forward to more great content, thank you!!
Mason raising his arms while professing his love to Dead Meat with James and Chelsea reacting with wide-eyed surprise is so incredibly wholesome to me!
There's something so awesome about the way that James mentions even the unknown behind-the-scenes people when talking about the film. He shows so much respect with every episode!
I can't quite decide how I feel about Dewey's death. On the one hand, it does show that no one's off limits, but on the other I love Dewey and was always excited to see him show up
I was the same I love David and Dewey and when he was killed I refused to accept it but now I have come to terms with it being best for the story but still makes me sad cause I love Dewey
I did NOT expect that cameo at the end, I thought you just got a really good impersonator at first. Love how this channel's grown and how James and Chelsea are so involved with the horror industry :)
James, you legitimately deserve all the good stuff that happened. The cameo, the Roger Jackson outro, all of it. I hope Chelsea feels better soon! Much love to you, buddy 🙂
Legit so awesome you got Roger Jackson to do the numbers bit. So cool to have an actual cast member from one of the most beloved franchises be a part of this kill count
Not gonna lie, I like the fact that Billy's ghost looks older as if he had aged in purgatory or something. Don't know if that was intentional, but I think it adds a cool touch to the story. It's like Sam sees an adult version of him as opposed to when he was in high school.
Ik sam said he doesn’t like how redemptive the character is for being proud of his daughter but…honestly…I think it adds in the character. He maybe evil but damn, seeing his daughter be just like him? You know that’s in character!!
This was by far the best To-The-Numbers segment on the Kill Count so far, the line delivery from Roger L. Jackson was perfect! Such a great cameo for another great episode.
I love how dead meat started as a love letter to the horror genre. Over time, your fan base has gotten so big, even stars in the movies James is counting up kills are fans! Some full circle shit out here! Love to see it! Hope everyone has a great Friday! Cheers Edit:I laughed too hard at the “Somebodies goofy ass dad is kicking us out.” 😂😂
@@Ian-tx7nl Roman sucked, his reveal was awful shoehorned in and him being a solo ghost face was way less interesting, Richie and Amber were way more interesting, more relevant to the social commentary of the film, provided good shock value, and they were acted extremely well
This is one of my favorite Kill Counts in a while!! LOVED that Roger L. Jackson cameo, had me smiling ear to ear. Just shows how far Dead Meat has come ♥️
I love how many friends and connections James has in the horror movie industry. Man talks about them like a kid meeting their hero every time, and I’m all for that
Can we, for minute just appreciate how Goddamn wholesome it is that so many people both from Dead Meat and the Scream crew are fans of each others work. James and Chelsea's reaction to Mason Gooding exclaiming over them was so adorable. This type of thing is also most likely to happen in the Horror genre of any medium.
James was shook, I loved their reaction. Mason Gooding's legitimate excitement at seeing them was so sweet too, you can even tell that Jamin Savoy Brown was trying to explain how excited he was. Extremely wholesome, just a couple of kids from Michigan getting to cameo in one of their favorite horror franchises, simply because they treat the genre with such respect. I've watched a lot of Drunk Disney, James and Chelsea are certainly fans of movies in general, but there is something about the legitimate love they, and the rest of the DM crew, give to the genre, that makes all the cool stuff they get to do feel sincerely earned. It wasn't quick (or I'm sure expected at all) to have this level of success happen, but they've done the work to get here, for sure.
I'm so touched by the Dewey and Gale relationship and the genuine love and respect those actors have for one another despite not making it as a couple. And I loved seeing your cameo when I first watched this! I'm so proud of this channel and the amount of passion and care everyone puts into making something that's not just entertaining, but special and long-standing. Excellent work.
Yeah, personally I was fine with their relationship. I just don't think they should have made him a washed out cynical drunk in the years leading up to his death. That felt a little mean
I'm so happy at the fact that you and Chelsea got a cameo it's huge for Dead meat and shows how far you've come as channel. I am thankful for Deadmeat, it reinforced my love for horror even more
Dewey’s death is one I can never be upset over. The fact he died with a hero’s sacrifice proving what he’s always been, that final line from Ghostface proving how much cared they put into it, and even did a perfect parallel to the first film with Gale seeing the body. It’s just a whole load of perfection and I’m so glad he got the gold chainsaw. He truly earned ever bit of it.
I'm fine with how he died. I just wish they hadn't made the end of his life miserable before he did. That felt like a really sad end even if it did have a heroic finish.
Im a little upset hes dead but really i just dont like that he died like an idiot. He went back BECAUSE HE KNOWS THE KILLER IS STILL ALIVE and proceeds to look at his cell phone instead of doing what he went back to? He cant be the trope guy AND die like an idiot
his death was jsut stupid i honestly feel like dewey died all bc he wanted to be a person who kills ghostface and is looked at as a surviving hero he is dont get me wrong but his death was pointless
@@SuperMarioTrevor His death was to establish that anyone can die this time, his death was very important for establishing stakes; and it also served the plot by getting Sidney to come back, So yeah his death was probably the most important one in the film.
I absolutely love how James goes out of his way to get some people apart of movies and shows for like 30 seconds in video for like the numbers section and stuff or as a joke. That level of dedication should not be ignored
It is really cool and it takes a lot of dedication for him to go out of his way to get these actors in his show, but it is by no means ignored. I see people talking about his 'get to the numbers' bits all the time, so it definitely isn't ignored
This has probably been my favorite kill count. The details, the humor, the CAMEO FROM GHOSTFACE HIMSELF. This whole episode was overwhelming and much much more than we meaties deserve. (I officially apologize for Thankskilling 3)
Honestly, seeing positive, well-meaning fans like James and Chelsea get recognition and support from big screen horror creators makes me so happy. It's always nice when the good guys get rewarded
"the psycho reference her son is WALLOWing in" That's a smooth reference to Dylan's band Wallows. This franchise got me into horror, so hearing Jackson deliver the gut Dewey like a fish line made me strangely tear up.
I was so genuinely excited when I saw James and Chelsea in Scream (5), I looked around my theater to see if anyone else was geeking out. It’s so cool that James gets to “expand his act” so to speak, especially with Scream. He’s expressed many times how Scream is his favorite horror movie so it’s really special that this has been the franchise to embrace him. I was wracking my brain at the end trying to figure out if he was able to get *the* voice or if he was using AI 😂
lol me too. I was with a friend who doesn't know who they are so I started getting excited and they were like ??? lol it's cool to now know how that cameo came to be.
I did this but at home. Unfortunately theatres weren't open when this came out in my area because of COVID so I waited 11 years just to watch it at home 😢. I have my tickets this time !
Jenna Ortega has been killing it lately with all the roles she's had: X, Babysitter: Killer Queen, Wednesday and now Scream (2022) and she definitely has much, much more to come, for sure
I always took the "Ghost Billy" part as her imagining what Billy would act like towards her, based on second hand knowledge from people that "knew him" and from the movies. She also probably saw the knife beforehand in that corner, so when "Billy was pointing down to it", she was remembering "Oh right, the knife."
I think what makes Dewies death work so well is that the killer treats the victim with the same reverence the audience does. He goes out like a hero and the killer takes joy in killing him. But not purely in a sadistic way, they believe they're giving him the death he deserves.
Ghostface claims Sidney is in all films but Stab 8. Sidney was only in the original Stab trilogy, according to the previous film. She threatened to sue if they continued to use her in subsequent films. Samantha Carpenter is too young to be Billy Loomis' daughter at age 23. The timeline is wrong by one year (two years if the film is set in 2022). The film simultaneously suggests it takes place in both 2021 and 2022. Principal states classes are cancelled tomorrow, but the next day is Saturday, if Tara's attack corresponds to the landline date. Vince Vaughn is Stu Macher in Stab, yet a completely different actor appears as him in a Stab scene that Mindy watches. Sidney's Threatened Lawsuit: Sidney's lawsuit, threatening the creators for using her character after Stab 3: Hollywood Horror in the continuation of the Stab franchise is ret-conned. It appears she is in "every movie but the last one", according to "Charlie" calling Tara Carpenter. However, the reason for her lawsuit is now unaccounted for, effectively creating an unintentional plot hole. The suggestion that Sidney threatened to sue based on using fiction is inconsistent with her story arc in Scream 4 (2011). In context, Jenny Randall is stating that, because Sidney could no longer appear, the Stab franchise became exaggerative with fiction, not that they were intending to re-use real life elements with Stab 4, as no real life murders occurred at that time. A possible resolution to this is that the studio was going to remake Stab (1998) in the mid-2000s. But because Sidney bought the rights to the original Woodsboro Murders (1995-1996) killing spree through her self-help book, Out of Darkness in media format, they were held off from doing so, hence Stab sequels were made instead, akin to the Saw franchise. Judy Hicks is a character in a "shitty, inferior sequel". This is an attempt to be a meta joke at Scream 4 (2011), but is inconsistent with other references of the Stab film series in the Scream universe, as seven Stab films had previously been released (the most recent being Kristen Bell as Ghostface, Chloe). This makes the only conceivable sequel to be Stab 8 (2021; continuity error release year). However, it is obvious from the dialogue, it was intended to be a previous iteration, as Wes Hicks would state Stab 8 forthright, as it is so recent "it came out last year", whereas all previous sequels were a decade beforehand. As per Mindy's idea of Requel rules, nobody questions whether the killer the killer will strike a character who appears in the supposed "worst Stab of all". for me This movie SUCKS!
After watching scream 6 and knowing how much of a badass Sidney was in 5 it makes it sad that she wasn’t in it I really think she would have added even more to the thrill ride that was that movie
To James, Chelsea, Zoran and everyone else at Dead Meat, Thank you. This video and that to-the-numbers segment legitimately brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Wes, thank you Roger and thank you SCREAM.
not really, she's not white, so she can't die, in this era only white people die, because it's bad to make a POC die. In this scream the only people that died are white , so it's pretty predictable, i know who will die and who will not in the next scream.
just be glad she survived and that she didn't end up like drew barrymore's character from the first scream movie her intestine's getting cut out of her guts and then used as a nooz to hang her from a tree when i first saw that it was pretty terrifying😱
id be fine with that on 4 but i feel like doing it here is kinda spitting on his grave "we havent drained all the money possible from your series yet, sorry, love you tho!"
Dead Meat being officially featured in such a iconic franchise as Scream solidifies how incredible this channel really is. And now forever engrained within a movie!
Wasn't expecting to cry at this Kill Count, but the for Wes breakdown just got me in my feelings really hard. I love Scream so much. Like so many of us, it was my first fun foray into the horror genre and has shaped so much of my life in so many ways. For Wes, man.
He made his films with so much passion, I wanted to meet him one day but when I heard if his death I was torn. As an aspiring film director I want to be as memorable and amazing as he was
I've not seen many Wes films, but I love the breakdowns of the movies he made, and I love Nightmare on Elm Street. And nobody can deny the man is a *legend* in the horror circle. Naming a character after him in the 5th movie, and having a toast to the character that doubles for the legend who made the first 4 films and so many other horror classics, is just amazing. For Wes.
I think the Billy visions are actually cool. Awesome to see Skeet return as Billy and helps show Sam's fight with herself about how her father is a serial killer and not wanting to be like him.
8:35 Vince's death has to be one of my favourite in the entire series. I love the use of the song. I love when music is a character in the movie and I love when it cuts out and back in on cue. Definitely the best use of the song in the series
I love that tribute to Wes at the party. When I first learned about that in the film’s commentary I cried because it’s so moving to know how many people Wes Craven impacted with just this series alone. RIP Wes.
Idk about everyone else, but I always love when the original cast is almost like one big family, and treat their role with respect, as apposed to them just playing a character if you know what I mean.
*FUN FACT* I don't think James mentioned this within the episode but aside from the school, all of the ''New York'' scenes are entirely shot in Montréal, Canada. Since the aesthetic of both cities are almost identical. They do this to save on filming rights prices since they are so much cheaper here :)
It really is amazing to see how far Jenna Ortega has come. She started off as a simple Disney Channel actress and is now all over the place because of Scream and Wednesday. She really is an amazing actress.
I first knew Jenna Ortega in Stuck in the Middle on Disney Channel, and I then watched the Babysitter 2 and X Kill Counts who then starred in horror movies alongside Wednesday.
omg the LEGEND himself at the end??? that's amazing!! i heard his voice and was audibly like "it's him!!" you guys deserve all the recognition you get from the industry, hell yeah guys!
Me too man, Roger Jackson is a vital part of this franchise just as Campbell, Arquette, Cox and the late great Wes Craven, this one features some of the greatest quotes for Ghostface in the Scream franchise, hopefully we get an appearence of Courteney or Neve or David or Jenna Ortega in a future let's get to the numbers yet
Another cameo and possibly a death scene! James and Chelsea getting proper kills in a Scream movie would be amazing...or...maybe they would be the killers?
I remember seeing this in theaters and hearing your voice while looking down at my drink or something. My head shot up so fast lmao. I’m glad to see you making a small cameo, it must’ve been a dream come true to be in a scream movie. I hope to see you in scream 6!
I was not a huge fan of Sam, in the beginning, but I LOVE the scene where she just starts wailing on Richie and stabbing him over and over. I didn't feel like her hallucination of Billy was meant to be redemptive either, I thought he was wanting her to be a killer like him.
I think its more coming to terms with her relation to him and her guilt over accidentally making her father leave than actually becoming a killer. And yeah since it was a projection in Sam's head and not actual ghost Billy; there is no redemption for him.
Dewey’s death in this movie is just so fucking tragic man. It’s like seeing a person you’ve grown to love and care about just get snatched away from you. RIP: Dewey Riley, you might have been unassuming, but you were still a fucking hero
"Yes today" line hits so hard knowing that Dewey was supposed to die in the first movie and all these years being a survivor its so brutal he eventually died in this one
If you think about it, billy in sams head is just a hilucination from psychosis which runs in the family. Him being a redeptive figure makes sense as its how sam is seeing it and isnt the real billy. Sam is just seeing his father and it adds her own conchience to it. Meaning all the things billy tells her to do, is just her own thoughts
Once again, you guys outdid yourselves with this To the Numbers bit getting Ghostface's VA to help out! Truly shows how far the channel has come in its lifetime!
True. I feel like she's the latest buzz. Like the Booyega guy. But unlike most hot buzz and Booyega, I don't think we'll stop seeing her. Like maybe for a month or so, but we'll prolly see her in a year for another movie or show or sooner teasing about a new project.
@@TaxFraudBruh Nah. I think Wednesday really made her really popular. I think her character as Tara here got her a place in Wednesday. So Scream (2022) got her in execs mind and Wednesday got into audiences hearts.
Making Sam Billy's daughter was a great satire on the "family trauma" tropes from elevated horror. Having him appear as a force ghost a la the Star Wars requels was also a nice added touch
Between ice nine kills and the scream cameo, you guys have come such a long way since I started watching on the original Friday the 13th kill counts. Crazy ride to be on but proud of y’all and glad to be along for the journey!
@@lennieimr They presented one of their music videos on a channel called Dead Meat Presents and James makes multiple cameos in the videos, additionally he did a kill count compiling all the kills over all the music videos.
Jenna Ortega's rise to being a modern Scream Queen has been an amazing watch the past few years. Her, and Mia Goth, are two names I tend to subconsciously look for when new horror is presented to us. I cannot wait to see what they'll become
That was easily my favorite "Get to the -numbers- kills" transitions of Kill Count out of all of them. That's saying a lot, because they've made so many great transitions over the years. I love watching this channel and seeing James, Chelsea and company continue to grow in success.
I remember snapping and pointing at the screen in the theater like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme as soon as James and Chelsea showed up in the movie, truly incredible

This war is ridiculous. I don't want to pick a side, but we should not be fighting over this to the point where unrelated movies and their fandoms are getting involved. When people didn't like the prequels, they moved on. It's not hard. Whether you think the franchise is good or bad right now, there is no excuse for this level of hatred and chaos over nothing more than a story about space wizards. I love Star Wars even on its worst day, but I hate being a follower of it. All I have to say is, if a freaking Scream movie can't be discussed without Star Wars fans at each other's throats, we need to stop.
these “do the numbers” bits just keep getting better and better. I don’t know if it’s you James or someone else who comes up with them, but their a blast to watch. can’t wait for scream freakin’ 6! 🥳🥳🥳
I'm so happy with how this show has come. From a small, pretty straight forward channel to literally presenting awards to huge films, meeting, becoming friends with and collaborating with horror celebrities and getting cameos in huge horror franchises. I mean, an official scream film?? That's HUGE! Congrats to James, Chelsea, Zoran and the rest of the crew. You make our days brighter and give so much to our community!
Why is literally no one here talking about how the Scream 6 kill count got taken down cuz of copyright. Like at first the Scream 5 director included James and Chelsea in the movie only for paramount to copyright claim the next Scream kill count.
Scream is my favourite horror franchise, it holds a special place in my heart. Last year I got to meet Roger L. Jackson, I said to him that it was an honour to be meeting him and he turned around, took my hand and said; “It’s an honour to be meeting you” in that all too familiar Ghostface voice. It is something I will never forget.
The first “Scream” film is good, but the sequels (including “Scream” 2022) are bad. They’re completely unnecessary, and they are pretty much the exact same cliché, formulaic thing that they comment on/make fun of.
I can’t express how much I love Mindy s “requeal explained ” scene . Also I was internally screaming when I saw James and Chelsea cameo , I was wanting to see this two in a horror movie for so long and this film delivered in the best way .
Honestly, James’s cameo is probably the best part of the movie for me. Unfortunately, I think that the movie itself is bad. It is such a generic, boring, predictable sequel/reboot, it (like all the other “Scream” sequels) is the exact same clichéd, formulaic thing that it comments on/makes fun of, the commentary on “requels”, elevated horror and fandom feels smug, the killers’ motivation was stupid, and a lot of the dialogue is cringey.
So happy for ya'll landing the Roger cameo. Major. And I cried learning about the voice cameos during the "For Wes" moment...I had no idea. Scream is probably my number 2 of all time (not just in horror) and Scream 2022 was hard for me at first, thank you for making me appreciate it more. Can't wait for next week. This recount series was a true blessing.
From a shy guy doing some horror kill counts to one of the biggest horror youtubers with cameos and conections in the horror movie industry. You grew up so fast
It speaks to how much everyone respected Wes’s legacy that this film was as great as it was. Also, I legitimately can’t believe the guests you’re getting for these “to the numbers” bits. INSANELY jealous! Edit: Holy shit, James mentioned me in the kill count for my favorite Scream sequel!
I found it to be a bit too goofy and it felt a bit disappointing for that reason. Also no shot Amber kills Dewie like that. Not upset he died, it’s how he died.
I was actually thinking about what Sidney said about Billy and Stu started the whole thing and I think she was right. I mean, Roman didn't really start the killings, but he did supply Billy with the know how of how to pull it off. With that knowledge, Billy and Stu killed Maureen, therefore they did start everything. At least, that's how I see it.
Bro James always manages to sneak references. Like I've seen this vid a couple times (comfort ig) and I just finished watching The Boys and I know what compound V is, making the reference to Jack Quaid worth it and it's honestly so cool for his attention to detail.
I love how much James and his channel have grown over the years, to the point that he’s a natural part of the horror movie landscape now. He’s gotten so many great opportunities, and he deserves it all.
Right, but that doesn’t mean harass or send death threats to the ppl involved in making the film. So sorry that a bunch of bad apples spoiled the bunch.
The Roger L. Jackson finale really was the cherry on top of a Kill Count that is already one for the books. James and Chelsea just elevated themselves to whole new level. WOW.

Hey that Mojo Jojo!
Yea truee ^w^
@@nailsarelifelmfao how is it “heartbreaking” if a movie character has an arc you don’t like? You just explained how it works, so what’s the problem?
@nailsarelife the last thing we need is another Anakin going to the dark side.
Thank you!
Also Sam finding out her dad isn’t her dad and having her mother hate her for it probably led her to wanting to find a father figure wherever she can

There’s no force ghost Billy actually showing her where the knife is lol

I think what makes Dewies death work so well is that the killer treats the victim with the same reverence the audience does. He goes out like a hero and the killer takes joy in killing him. But not purely in a sadistic way, they believe they're giving him the death he deserves.
Nah shit death, his iq was in the negative for ignoring the rules of past events
Dewey’s death really did NOT work well. It felt so forced.
@@handev2604 I thought Sam's actress was a failure. I hated it.
True
After watching scream 6 and knowing how much of a badass Sidney was in 5 it makes it sad that she wasn’t in it I really think she would have added even more to the thrill ride that was that movie

@@romanticghost7508 Figured it out after a while hahaha 😂, thanks anyway
Jenna Ortega's rise to being a modern Scream Queen has been an amazing watch the past few years. Her, and Mia Goth, are two names I tend to subconsciously look for when new horror is presented to us. I cannot wait to see what they'll become
They're honestly trash and overrated really
Nothing special about them
I really hope they can make her a Sidney-like character
Yea, I like them both
@@YourDadYoda nobody can’t replace neve Campbell as scream queen or Jamie Lee Curtis
Agreed on Jenna Ortega's rise to modern scream queen, but that title should also go to Samara Weaving
Proud that James gets to be apart of all these horror movies he definitely deserves it after he’s been counting the kill all these years
That was easily my favorite "Get to the -numbers- kills" transitions of Kill Count out of all of them.
The whole "rian johnson was unable to direct the last jedi due to scheduling issues with directing stab 8" bit is one of the funniest meta jokes in the series i was rolling
If only that happen in real life, then we might’ve actually gotten a better movie in episode 8
@@QuadZillaGodZillasbrother i have literally zero feelings about episode 8 its just crazy that people (not saying you specifically) hate this guy so much for 1 (one) maybe bad movie
@@Polygonyall the reason why they hate him is a very fucking good reason and it’s not just a few it’s a lot have you seen the rotten tomatoes score for last Jedi the audience score specifically, it’s bad people hate that movie because of what did the character of Luke Skywalker people watch their childhood hero get deconstructed and humiliated in front of their eyes that was pretty hard to watch so I understand why people hate him
@@QuadZillaGodZillasbrother yea you can hate the movie all you want but rian johnson is literally just a guy who made some controversial storytelling decisions. Some people (not you specifically again) are absolutely wild about hating this guy beyond him making a bad movie
hes come a long way from simply dancing to the numbers for sure.
!!
I was just in the middle of watching it after a marathon of these movies and kill counts (recounts included) when it happened too.
@@handev2604 But this time an indictment of the original fans for pointing all that out
Can we just agree how good Jena Ortega did in the opening scene? Like while watching it she legitimately seemed like she was actually being stabbed
She’s so good.
It's because she was literally getting stabbed. The effort these movies and actors is insane
@@Megidola007 fr people don’t realise she actually got stabbed and they just clone her.

Me too I got so excited when I saw their cameo in theaters
I shouted “DEAD MEAT JAMES AND CHELSEA” in the theatre lmao! Luckily there were only a few people in the whole theatre 😅
ITS BACK!!!!!
That To The Numbers bit was INSANE. Another instant classic Kill Count.
"Shy"? He was professional and articulate from the start! That's what separated him from the rest.
@@bboi1489 james himself said that his first counts on Friday the 13th weren't good :v
ITS BACK
I love how James is so calm and cool in the kill counts but fanboys over actors and actresses. Great show
Cant forget the special effects artists and producers he fanboys over also. As they much deserve for their incredible talents

Got it
I found it to be a bit too goofy and it felt a bit disappointing for that reason. Also no shot Amber kills Dewie like that. Not upset he died, it’s how he died.
Really?
I was actually thinking about what Sidney said about Billy and Stu started the whole thing and I think she was right. I mean, Roman didn't really start the killings, but he did supply Billy with the know how of how to pull it off. With that knowledge, Billy and Stu killed Maureen, therefore they did start everything. At least, that's how I see it.
Maureen kind of started
For real life
Bro James always manages to sneak references. Like I've seen this vid a couple times (comfort ig) and I just finished watching The Boys and I know what compound V is, making the reference to Jack Quaid worth it and it's honestly so cool for his attention to detail.
its absolutely INSANE how much this channel has changed your life. I can't believe the journey it's been. The coolest horror fan experience.
I love how much James and his channel have grown over the years, to the point that he’s a natural part of the horror movie landscape now. He’s gotten so many great opportunities, and he deserves it all.
This is the best Kill Court ever!
I loved Mindy. Hopefully she surpasses her uncle and survives her second movie
You know James, there are people who have genuine criticisms regarding the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.
Yeah I know, I'm one of them. I never said there wasn't.
Right, but that doesn’t mean harass or send death threats to the ppl involved in making the film. So sorry that a bunch of bad apples spoiled the bunch.
@@DeadMeat Let's be honest James, the animated shows and few of the live action shows from Star Wars are the only things keeping the franchise alive.
