Had the book for years and have been tempted to play
Been sitting on the core book of this game since 2007! Still haven't found an audience, really. But it remains one of my favorites.
I love the jank and the weird over/underpowered gameplay. I'm also a Rifts fan, so that tracks.
Took me a full year to figure out how this game works. 😆

if ever you may read french the new continant book (and all the other books ) are avaliable in french (the spell book t the rarest be carefull with this one)

Good video. I hope you can continue this so it can reach a bigger public. Anima's lore is very interesting, and it's a shame there's no Gaia II in English. Lately there's been kind of a revival of the game, as the community (mostly Spanish speaking) keeps very active, the author has anounced a revamp of the system and has been releasing new material like the 2nd Dramatis Personae, the character sheet of one of the Messengers and material for Dravenor (an isolated reality within Gaia).
For a newbie of the game this video is gold.

I know it's been a while since you've posted this video (and probably a lot, if not all of, the whole series), but my group is a HUGE fan of Anima. Three of us GM in slightly homebrewed versions of the universe (usually ones where supernatural stuff isn't instantly killed like a damn Commisar from 40k, I'm also a fan of that too) but despite it's clunkiness on many things, it does allow for wonderful character expression through secondaries. Though combat...combat is hell. 4 hours per encounter...always hurts.
Honestly this is the go to system for our group, it reached for the heavens before having it's wings melted away. The system has so much potential it just falls short of actually working lol.
Honestly I do want to touch on the game more in my videos but currently the game just doesn't have a large audience. One day I hope to make a channel big enough to show Anima off and get it the attention it deserves.
with some light homebrew, i feel alot of the mechanical mishaps can be smoothed over. but either way, i really love this system. i had the books when they first came out. these days i use the pdfs.
