I remember when first seeing Anima the feeling of sadness, it was amazing to behold such a creature but it was so pained, blood tears running down her eyes, chained up...truly an amazing design and story for one of the greatest summons
Another sad thing about Seymour, but more so his mom, is that if you Summon Anima during the final Seymour fight he says “So you would oppose me to Mother!? No matter, you’ll all be dead in the end!” Or something along those lines. He had so much potential, but trauma twisted it into something dark.
i remember that. i myself did that just cause i was going through the OD's of my Aeons that i had made sure were locked and loaded for when i started the battle. so when he said that it was like "damn! i came here to kick your ass not get hit in the feels!"
From what I remember, Seymour said something like "You are against me too, so be it!", followed by "Death awaits you!".Maybe he says something different depending on the version of the game. It was the French PS2 version for me. I can't verify what he really says on that version anymore.
Kadaj would give Seymour a run for his money. Actually in Dissidia Opera Omnia Seymour has a combined attack with Kadaj so someone in Square is aware of that detail and eager to point it out
