Anima: Beyond Fantasy - Basics and Character Creation

It's the start of another multi-part video series! This time, I'm talking about Anima: Beyond Fantasy, and here's the basics of how the game works, as well as some important information regarding character creation.

Somehow this game has a half dozen RADICALLY DIFFERENT power systems, and it all generally mathematically checks out. It's monster creation rules are awesome, so awesome people have used it for "item creation" before they had rules for magic item creation. Somehow IIRC presence is the general indicator for the power of anyone or thing, and it really does give a good idea of its strength.

Oh i love this game. it's a little hard at first but once you get it it's simple and a good tip is just like dnd don't play a magic caster you first time. Mine was A Psychic who has gone on to become my favorite. Can we play that again some time. do you have free time anymore?
