I was lucky enough to meet JJ when in a print shop in downtown El Paso about 1976. He was in line behind me. I didn't know who he was but he was nice, polite individual. Hat's off to him for a good life well lived.

I thought the body guard in the background was a mannequin of muammar Gaddafi until I say him move.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Armes. Passed away today, 9/19/2024, at the age of 92. 😭😭💔💔💔

We need a Jay J. Armes biopic. Mr. Armes passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 92. He was an interesting guy who seemed to be pretty cool.
Sure miss Kelly on the news, you broke my heart when you took her away lol love the show, Texas is full of great people.

@@subierumble3523 Kelly used to be a news reporter for CBS Channel 6 in Beaumont, she interviewed texas Country reporter and the next thing I know she married him and moved away lol.

TCR is a wonderful show, and I don't think I've missed an episode since Kelly came on board, she is just so darned pretty. And only JJ Armes would have a bodyguard who is a dead ringer for a certain deceased Libyan dictator. LOL
