Bob I don't know who is getting older but I still remember the day around 1974 when I found this show that I had to watch whenever I found it on named 4 country reporter then one day it was gone but Texas country reporter replaced it thanks for being a vital part of my life.
While researching these arrows I stumbled upon your chanel.....and what a great surprise it is! We loved your show while living in Texas from 2009-2013 and I hadn't thought to look for a RUclips channel. You didn't leave, so I guess I'll just say that we're glad to be back!!
Thank you Bob and Kelli for sharing yet another wonderful video of our History. I look forward to each and every video you bring to us. Stay safe out there. Stan
I can remember , as a kid in the 50's, my dad took us out in the desert to look at one of these concrete arrows!...He knew what they were for, but as kids, we made up our own stories about how the Indian tribes used them to tell others which way the Buffalo were moving!...The truth, is more interesting than the fantasy!...The whole idea of the arrows being used by Airmail Pilots, to navigate is MUCH better than our theory was! Just sayin'!

Love Texas, Photography and Aviation History home run episode..
AGREE X 1000! 😁
I've always admired how people can find so much meaning in something so obscure such as "a concrete arrow in a field"
Oh yes, the power of imagination.... („these are signs by US Army to guide flying saucers to the landing strips“ 😁)
......Beautiful story...I too love such out of the way places. Thanks for taking us along.
Born and raised in mexico but all i want is lived and died in texas , yo amo texas !

Awesome story! Awesome history!
You can GOOGLE this to see the whole arrow network across the US!
Awesome. Thank you so much.
Furthest I've explored is terligua and Ford Davis and marfa. I wish I could move there
He should photograph that arrow with a drone to get the pilot's perspective.
Impressive.
Wow. Thank You.
