I’m new to your channel, but returning vet for FFXIV. I haven’t played since The second DLC. And man can I say I am so happy for everyone on Xbox to finally be able to enjoy this wonderful game. It’s truly a worth while experience, even if you don’t do main story (which I still highly recommend!). The freedom, the customization and creativity baked into it is amazing. I’m downloading it now on my Xbox and I’m so stoked to get back into it. I’ll definitely be returning to this channel to see more videos. And I hope that anyone who plays this game truly enjoys it 😊
I';ve played all day today and yesterday. I've waited for so many years to play that on Xbox! Now that I have a Series X it's really satisfying! Not much differences graphicaly compared to PC . Also 60fps constantly. It's really satisfying. And once you get used to switch between button to launch skills ( like around 15-30min) It's even better than on a keyboard. I use 32 slots on my bar and I can switch to any of them in second. Really good actually . First time I play a mmo like that on console and at first I thought it would sucks ,mainly because of the huge numbers of skills you have to use , but with that system they put into place and the freedom of moving as much as you want is thumbs up. Don't let that scare you , cause as I said before it takes a few minutes to get use to it.
You can get invited into a party by a full version player. The only way for 2 free trial players to be in the same party is to have a full version player invite them both and then leave the party
Question: returning player here. I’m essentially starting over. I have all the expansions. Is there any reason to pre-order/buy Dawntrail? I’m an infrequent player due to work. Will it change the low level game? Thanks.
The only reason for you in this case would be if you wanted access to the new race they're adding in, outside of that, I would hold off until you're ready to step into that expansion's story.
Xbox new players really need a controller setup video! I started got to a certain point i cant see anything lol! I have tried some settings but i have no idea what im doing.are the pc controller settings the same for console?
Wanted to switch to controller but there is one thing which I dislike as a dedicated healer. The party cycle with the D-Pad doesn't allow me to move and cycle through the party. Is there any possibility to switch the party targeting and enemie targeting buttons? Thanks in advance.
I don't know if there is a way to switch the default up/down behavior, but you an always have two types of filters. If you go into the custom filters under character settings > genera/control (can't remember what it's called) and to filters, you'll find the custom filters, and you can then have it swap between party and enemies. meaning, left and right would target your party.
Do not register from the console, it will not let you play if you register from there. I registered on a PC from the link he placed in the description and now I was able to enter the game on the console. Thank you very much for your help!

No, because you'd need the xbox license and they don't offer that yet, plus the beta is really only testing out the free trial version of the game, the beta should only be a few weeks so just sit tight and you can change your race once the game is fully released and you can just buy the xbox version :)

Yes, for this beta make a new Xbox account and a new square enix account. Once the game is out of beta link your main Xbox account to your existing FFXIV account
If you can, any Side Quests, Leves (pre-level 60), and then roulettes, fates, and then the highest level dungeon possible. Try to get any daily bonus item done first like your beast tribe dailes.
Can i transfer my ps4 account over to xbox when it fully comes out because i already grinded to stormborn and would love to pick up where i left off and not grind all that oit again?

Kinda limited yes, but you can play ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood all for free, and level to 70. I'm betting they'll add Shadowbringers to that too, and eventually endwalker. Meaning, that if you stay on the free trial you'll be able to play the game forever without spending any money.

Well yeah, it's crossplay. If you werent already playing on PS or PC you have to start from the beginning like everyone else had to lol. There's no FOMO so it's fine to catch up at your own pace.
Correct, it’s cross play/cross save. You can play on new servers but this is the way of gaming for a while and you’ll see less and less isolated multiplayer games
Registration is buggy and broken and I try to make an account and not I don’t remember my username cause it made me pick what it was available and not what I wanted also it won’t delete the words and it just adds more to the words u already type there fore I installed the game and didn’t even play it couldn’t get pass the registration it was frustrating took me about 30mins and nothing was done
Only if you give them money, if you stay on the free trial then you'll never need to pay them, you just won't be able to play the current expansions, but they keep adding them into the free to play tier.

Ff14 should have been like FF7 rebirth combat fast attacks and timing blocks etc... They just put FF14 combat in the ground also the status should be like ff7 rebirth ... Go try the demo and look at the status under materia & Equipment attributes and ff14 is not the best plz stop saying tht FF7 beat it.. And FF11 really beat it unless they change combat then ill agree
This game is too easy, and it's mostly a boring story. The combat is terrible (especially on a contoller). It's NOT an MMO it's a story game with MMO content. If you played FFXI, you might be disappointed.

3:14 hope 7.0 buffs Cure 2, its too slow and expensive 1000 MP for low LV dungeons like this. While AST version Benefic 2 is shorter cast, with 700 MP meh. Freecure fishing is waste of GCD heals Cure 1 too weak later levels like here.

MMO stands for Massively Multiplayer Online. No, it's not optional because you do need to join other players in certain parts during MSQ.

Yes that’s the best way. Pressing LB + R3 will turn on virtual mouse mode

Leves are repeatable quests that are out in the open world and unlock once you hit level 10. Just go to the city counter to pick some up

Yes. The game is fully cross progression so you just login on your Xbox profile with your existing account

yes... but no. The Beta is new accounts only, however upom full release you can carry your steam account over.

Yes. You can add people to your friends list no problem. You can party up as well. You just can't trade or join free companies(guilds)

Game is useless if you have to go through 90 steps in order to play on the xbox.
It’s the same steps if you are on another platform. Can you login into the mog station and see if your account works
