    Ran down to home depot this morning and grabbed a ryobi nail gun and a rotary tool.. Some dude had a makita circ saw.. He looked down at my tools and scoffed.. Stop the ryobi hate.. 😂 😂 😂

      Yeah I love my ryobi nailer, I waited 2 years to buy it because I was Sceptical about it but it runs great I have never had a issue with it.

    Bosch has that high quality long lasting smooth power, it's slower on the rpm but about the highest torque. I love mine! Great video.

    On another note on a cold ohio day this winter Ryobi and my dewalt batteries wouldn't charge. All my bocsh had no problems at all.

    The speed and power difference in the Ryobi did the same for me, in my initial review it was not as power as later comparisons. I guess a break in period?

    I went ham on those Gen 3's when they were $53 with free 4ah batt/bag/charger.
    Everyone's getting a badass drill from me this Christmas. :)

      Make sure you got the gen 3 freak with the newest hammer drill, item # 873433 for $209. They have another freak and hammer drill kit for $179 but it doesn’t have the mode selector on the impact or Bluetooth I don’t think.

      @@Impact-OG that’s what I said, the freak in the $179 kit is an 1800 but not the 1800c and the hammer drill in the kit for $179 isn’t as new as the in the kit for $209(item 873433). I have no clue how Juan got the 1800c and hammer drill, with two Core fours for only $150

    You should put the new Ryobi against the old 238. See if it really is faster. Great video.

      P238 is 2200 in-lbs or around 183 ft-lbs of torque. The newer model has less power but more ipm than the P238. Apples to oranges.

      Yes it was full, and I tested it with the other 2 battery's I have and Nothing. Like I joked about in the Video I think TTI snuck into my house and gave me an upgraded Ryobi hahahaha, I remember the bosch being so much faster when I tested it out last year.

    I feel like Bosch should've given us a compact impact wrench with the Freak anvil.
    Something like the M12 stubby but hits harder and faster (3200 RPM, 3400-600 IPM, 350 ft-lbs).

      I wish Bosch would expand their 12v lineup like Milwaukee. I'm in the Bosch 18v and was in the 12v but migrated to m12 for my compact tools bc of the variety of tools

      With the new ryobi hp.. I saw that you already made a video up against the gen 3 milwaukee but the ryobi seems faster in this video, maybe another video with the milwaukee to see if the ryobi did improve in speed

    That's actually the Bosch gen 2. The gen 3 is 1860

      Nope its the 3. The fist two freaks had different handles, this one has the option for the Bluetooth chip in the handle.

      Nope you said it was the 1800..Gen 3 is the 1860..... Unless that was a Core 4AH which is a compact battery, you were likely using a 2AH battery.....Everything has to be the same for a fair comparison.... Just saying.....@@Impact-OG

    The gen 1 Bosch freak is the IDH-182. The gen 2 is the gdr/gdx 18v 1800. The gen 3 is the gdr/gdx 18v 1860. I have all 3.

    This is why I haven't bought the freak...great idea but not powerful enough for a 1/2" anvil. And not as powerful of an impact driver as what I already have.

    First using a 4h battery is not a fair competition. I got my freak with 2 ah and 8ah battery pack. Believe me it make a difference. But i will recommend 4ah battery pack for the Bosch. 8ah battery pack is too much torque. In a way that burn screws away. 😂

      Amp hours have nothing to do with power. That's just how long the battery can last brother.

      @@PKUK4800 it depends. In my case it make a difference. The bigger the battery. The more time will be sustain the max power output. It’s logical. That’s why some drills and impacts specs it’s variable to possible rpm or possible torque output.
      It’s like the some Japanese cars.
      The Bosh series have the same motor. Some bosh freaks the cheapers ones. Comes with 2ah batteries and the more expensive with 4ah batteries and variables options speeds.
      But Is the same motor.
      It’s like Buying a Toyota Yaris. All models have the same engine. The difference are the trims.
      Most people overpay those who knows do not.

    gen 3 has 3 speeds and 2 modes, 210 in eu 1860 in US. you don't have the gen 3 sorry to say. i think some reviewers call it gen 2 or 2.5.

    Bosch is the best. cant compare... and with the Profactor stuff its gonna be even better. They practically rule Germany and most of eastern and western Europe when it comes to tools.
