One thing I appreciated about using this is the lack of vibration in the hand. It seems like a little detail but in comparison to other impacts I have used its easier on the wrist.

Great Comparison! I have the 1st Gen Freak and am going to get the Gen 2 Brushless Non Freak Impact when it becomes available. I'd love to see these tools rested head to head in construction tests like running lags and deck screws! Thanks for the video Toolboss!

Good head to head man. I use the older GDX you have. 99% of my tasks or more torque has not been an issue with it. It's a decent impact and comfortable too. Lot of buddies on site use the Milwaukee's and Makitas. Definitely have the edge in grunt over my GDX but not enough to make it an issue for most tasks. Kind of like that Bosch didn't play to the torque war. If it's reliable I'm happy. Still, who doesn't love a new tool? If I see a good deal on the new GDX 200C I'll pick one up.

    • @toolboss8410

Yes .. Milwaukee has changed the game the last few years with these power numbers ..glad Makita n DeWalt aren't chasing like DeWalt..but I guess DeWalt has to if they want to be #1

I still have the old brushless freak and love it. I’ve had it for years and I only torque my lugs to 100, so don’t have any problems. One thing I’ve been trying to find lately, is a 1/2 inch chuck adapter. I’m tired of being limited to quick change drill bits. Does anyone know of a quick change to 1/2 chuck adapter?

the old freak wouldnt accept certain bit holders because the anvil was too long. However, that new freak looked like it was going throw off that socket! Im not hating on Bosch and I have the old freak, but the old model also had socket retention issues and I am dissappointed to see them worse on the new model. Sunnex and Astro pneumatic both make stubby impact sockets that might stay on the anvil alittle better.

you know your rims are only supposed to be torque to about 8o to 90 lbs or you will bust the bolt ...@ 150lbs you are damaging the bolts and twisting your rotor and can damage the rims too... just saying.

Can someone let me in on what's up with bosch. at all my local Lowe's the bosch section is getting smaller and smaller and am I the only one thinking that bosch dropped the ball by coming out with new brushed tools?

I agree. Every time I go into Lowes, the Bosch cordless tool section gets smaller. I think it's Lowes. They have gone full in on Craftsman now, which I consider a pro-summer brand. If they were smart, they'd feature Bosch and Hitachi/Metabo much more given they're both premium/pro brands that the orange store doesn't carry. I think Lowes has pretty much given up on selling to contractors and heavy DIY'rs.

Wait you definitely gave us a glimpse of what new one will be I like but like mine Bluetooth is not everything I can. Get octane for my Ridgid if I. Want right is going 💯% octane tools just to give the heads up I. Guess octane can be. Unfortunately gen 6x Ridgid there will be. A octane circular saw impact driver impact wrench. • @MrHeHim

      1800/12=150ft/lbs
Most if not all the time the spec is break away torque, which is about 70-80% as hard as it's to tighten. So if its 150 ft/lbs break away, then it should be about 110 ft/lbs max torque when putting the bolts/lugs/nuts on.
I was looking at bosch impact wrenches to match the batteries i already have and they do make one with about "220 ft/lbs" or 165 ft/lbs
