Hi interesting to see that not every GDR 18v-200 has speed / power adjustment buttons on its base. Your shown model doesnt have them (has led light in that spot)- but many others do. Are you aware of this differences?
I think I have figured it out: The GDR 18V-200 has no buttons on its base, but the GDR 18V-200 C (which can have the optional connectivity module, and was replaced by the 210 C) has buttons on its base.
Hello Phill, Great video. Question, can you interchange the batteries? I got mower using the All18V battery and I am considering the blue bosch. Just noting I want to use both battery in the mower. Else, I go green.
In the US, we don't get green bosch. The US gets the Bosch professional and it's just called a Bosch not Bosch professional since the US tool market is a little different than Europe.
@@PhillWyattProjects I have a drill from the blue series. Additionally, I have a set of drill bits from the green series. Can I use them together or do they have to be the same color?
Oh, and mine is brushless too! Would be interesting to compare my version to the professional since it seems to be much closer in terms of features. Mines called the Bosch DIY AdvancedDrill 18v
@@PhillWyattProjectsoh that was my brain fart, i meant the AdvancedImpact not drill (I've got both). It is an impact driver which is Green Bosch DIY and is brushless, but it doesn't have the metal chuck like the professional blue one.
Phil you've posed the question that no significant other will ever understand, when it comes to the diyer! Why do you need a new tool, when you've already got one that does that job? They have a hard time understanding that the answer is simply "because"!
Haha yea that's true Andy. I just start talking about the different specs knowing full well that she has no idea what I'm talking about. She gets bored very quickly and says ohh ok that sounds like a good idea then. 😁👍

How about the price? If the difference is very small, I think getting the blue one is a better. Here in the us we only get the blue ones. Thanks
Real shame you can't use the home and gardens battery in the professional range, I'm impressed with ease that it drove that screw though
Yea it would be cool if you could use the batteries across both ranges.
@PhillWyattProjects the site guys won't be to happy with it.

I noticed that. Not sure why that is although it seems less common in UK to get power control on impact drivers and more common in America.

Great video and it looks a great tool thanks for sharing your time 🍺🍺👍👍
Cheers Brian!

Thanks! No these batteries are not interchangeable unfortunately. The power for all variety are different to what the blue range uses.

A few people have mentioned that actually. Do you think the green range would sell in the US if it was available?
@@PhillWyattProjects I for one, wish the green bosch WAS available!
@@PhillWyattProjects It would be a great competitor with Hart in the US
Can i use green drill bit with blue drill?
What do you mean?

I've got the Bosch green diy drill and it has a work light. Maybe a newer version than yours

@@joemunkey But these are impact drivers not drills.
