That's how they see you Normally. It wouldn't feel weird to them, but if they see your mirror image,(in the camera,which isn't inverted) , that is when they might feel weird. They're used to seeing to inverter and they might even prefer your inverted image.(I've been doing a little research on this and there are some survey studies, research studies to back my claim) , don't worry about the inverted image,you're just not used to seeing it.

Think like this: you see yourself in mirror everyday which makes you used to your face just like people see you everyday and used to your face. If you would stand next to a friend looking at eachother in the mirror you would probably look asymmetricsl to them just like you look asymmetricsl to yourself when looking at iphone camera. This actually works! Been doing this for almost 4 weeks now and the difference I see in my face is crazy. It’s more symmetrical now. But isn’t perfect but very tolerable. The mirror is a reflection, so it shows how we look like in reverse and we're used to seeing the reverse version of ourselves. Seeing how we look in pictures is strange sometimes unless you really have that symmetrical face. So pictures of yourself are far more accurate since what you see in mirror isnt what other people see.

Cheek muscles get uneven if you chew your food on only one side that side gets bigger so start chewing your food on the other side if your jaw is uneven
sun 2neki I struggle with this as well I think it has to do with mewing and having one side of the tongue push up harder than the other causing the imbalance. Idk if chewing on one side would help or not for me in the past it hasn’t.

This really does make a difference, I've also been sleeping and chewing on the opposite side than I normally do, and trying to have good posture, and I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now. My face is still pretty crooked, but soooo much better than it was. This has also helped so much with my shoulder, neck and jaw pain !! I can actually open my mouth all the way without it clicking at least 6 times or getting stuck lol

Im fine with imperfection but I look very different in pictures and in the mirror. In pictures I my face looks wonky and my eyes are different shapes. I hope I can fix it so I dont look very different.

Okay well... I'm doing this exercise for 1 week now and I can say it works. I've been doing these exercises thrice a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once before going to bed. I started chewing things on my right side (because I didn't use right side of my face much, started sleeping on my back and stopped holding phone on left side of my face). My left side is bigger than my right, and I can say it has fixed my jaw to pretty good extent. I clicked pictures for everyday, compared it, and found out so. However, it couldn't fix the problem of my unaligned nose or lips (P.S.- My Cupid's bow is unaligned, giving my upper lips and unaligned structure and one side of my lips, is a bit longer than the other). But, I'm not losing hope, I'll keep on practising these. I think, it could solve my problem because I didn't have an asymmetrical face during my childhood. It was symmetric to a pretty good extent, at least one couldn't point out my asymmetries. Only a few bad habits caused my facial asymmetry. I'm continuing these and if there is any significant changes. I'll definitely update you.
@@yaseerbeig1356 look, most of the face exercises are meant for muscles, a very few for cartilages and zero for bone. Now, if you have facial asymmetry due to bone, it's an obvious you've use dermal fillers or have to go under the knife. Face exercises aren't much help in that case. But as I mentioned, my face became highly asymmetrical due to my bad habits. So when I'm giving up on those and retraining my muscle, isn't in obvious that my muscle would start reshaping itself? That has happened in my case. But you've to be patient. I got visible results after performing it for like 1 month, that means more or less 90 times. If you don't have patience, Face yoga or natural remedies aren't for you buddy. If you think, you will do one day and get results over night, then it's a midsummer night's dream. Have patience and do it. If your facial asymmetry is due to muscles, you ought to get the results.

Don't trust the inverted filter on tiktok, i just asked my little sister about the filter and i showed a video and she said that when the filter is off that's how people really see you.
So I have been doing this and some other of your face exercises for 10 minutes a day continuously for the past 2 months and maybe I can notice that there’s a small difference as it became a little more even....but I can confirm that this exercise get rid of double chin..maybe now I will start to do it 2 times a day...and I will update in the upcoming months...thank you !!
Will start from today and will update you guys every day 🥴 Day 1: No change but my neck is very sore. Not sure what he means by the tighter side. Day 2: my face looks worse than it did before. Not sure if I should keep doing it Day 3: no difference at all . 27 days to go Day 4: my right eye looks a little more even with my left eye shape! Day 5: no change from yesterday Day 6: jaw looks more to the right which is good. Man if this works you've just saved my confidence, this is my biggest insecurity, I've managed to get over most things I didn't like in my appearance including my weight, but THIS. I have such a hard time liking my face when both sides literally looks like two different persons on pictures. yo guys facial massages do work! you just have to do it religiously and make sure to apply moisturizer before doing these exercises coz they require so much skin pulling and it will be detrimental to your skin if you do it without moisturizing first. ive done this routine since quarantine and my face is pretty much symmetrical and slimmer now and i am no longer teeth grinding.

I’m starting these exercises today, I will actually keep track and leave a comment every day. I will also do the exercises from his 1 minute a day TMJ video. For reference, my eyes are level, my nose is crooked to the left but it’s a deviated septum (so I don’t expect it to get better because it’s the bone that has a deviation) and my jaw is dislocated (I hear clicking on my left jaw when I open my mouth and my left chin sticks out more than the right one). I will be doing the exercises on both sides. Day 1: Finished them, the clicking sound stopped but my masseter muscles feel a bit in pain from the tension.
I’ve always been so conscious about my facial asymmetry. Mine’s really serious - my nose is crooked, my jaw is misaligned and both my cheeks are very different in size... I read more into the cause and found out that it could possibly be because of my scoliosis (which is also very severe). Ah... I just hate it... I’m going to try this method and hope that it helps!
I want to say big thank you to author of this video. I have been doing this exercises for three days, along with some other neck exercises. I realized how much tension and even light pain that I have been ignoring for a very long time there is. I have asymmetrical jaws and my doctor and dentist said that surgery is only way to correct it. I still wear braces in bottom teeth and retainer in top teeth. I believe in traditional medicine and I know my braces helped with my issues BUT WHY nobody ever told me about this exercises and massage? If you have facial asymmetry you just have to to this exercises for your health's sake. There is no fast results. Hyaluron fillers may help to get more balanced face but don't obsess over it - look at Ryan Gosling, his older photos, he has very asymmetrical face and I always liked him because he reminds me of myself.
I know im a little late but if you're reading this, check your posture and neck muscles. If you have your head tilted to the left on default, like me, over time your right neck muscles will get bigger than your left neck muscles, which will put more development on your right side of your face compared to your left. Right now im correcting my posture and training the left side of my neck

Your "asymmetry" = Your lip is slightly pointed downwards. My actual asymmetry = I look so deformed that people ask me whether or not I had tooth removal.

WEEK ONE UPDATE✨: My face feels more symmetrical but it might be a placebo. I don’t have any noticeable or huge differences yet, but it’s only been a week and I did miss few days so that’s probably why. That’s the update for now I will try to take this more seriously and do this everyday, will update next week!

DUDE. I have all of these things, not sure what happened but when puberty hit my face got messed up in it. My nose is tilted to left by a lot. One side of jaw sticks out. And right side is larger.
@@spookedspooks Extend and jut out your jaw so that the bottom front teeth are farther in front then the top front teeth. Now clench the back teeth tightly, if it's asymmetrical, you'll feel one side touching first and the other side unable to fully clench as easily. Force it down so that both sides are tightly clenched and you'll feel the jawline and neck muscles push out to compensate. For extra measure, push your tongue up against the roof of your mouth, moreso on the side that couldn't fully clench. The more tension you feel the more effective it's working, so try to 'relax' in that shape for as long as you can and do it everyday, even after you start feeling and seeing results

This actually worked for me. Also followed tips from other RUclipsrs to stretch all the muscles all the way down the neck, chest, and shoulders. It made my nose and mouth even and my nose less droopy.
@@C__carsofficial both sides evenly - stretch up and pull down with my finger tips and hold it. I did this 4-5 times a week for 3 months. I showed my friends before and after pics and it was extremely noticeable for everyone the difference it made. Id have to say it had a lot to do with my posture, lifting habits, stress, and I am sure my sleeping position or combination. Either way it worked.
@@C__carsofficial to be honest you will feel where you have the most tension or pull as you do more and slowly focus on where you get the most tension. Just work your way around. Pulls skin down around your chest and move your neck around.

I didn't notice my face was uneven until I my back camera, so then at some point I tried to be okay with it after the awareness (ignorance is a bliss), once I started pointing it out to my friends, most of them said they didn't even notice or know what I was talking about until I showed them my face on the back camera. It's just how I see myself, I still think I'm at least above average on looks, but my teeth are jacked up and my jaw isn't helping it either, I will come back to this video in a few months and I'll do these exercises every night and every morning. Best way to see how you look like in an outsiders perspective,is to go to front camera and instead of clicking to take the picture , take a screenshot instead. It is 80% of how you look in the mirror. Also don’t sweat about it, people don’t notice it as much as you do being that you are so used to see yourself how you look in the mirror 100%
it really works! it bothered me a lot that one eye was higher than the other, when I started doing this massage it changed and the eye "went back to the place", and im shocked bc i started doing it the day before yesterday- what still bothers me is my mouth which is VERY crooked, it is more to one side of the face instead of being centered, i dont know how to fix it, it bothers me a lot and i probably only had to fix it with braces, but my mom doesn't want to go to the dentist to do a budget and maybe she doesn't even have the money to pay rn :/ my teeth are separated and it also bothers me, so in addition to fixing the asymmetry of the mouth it would fix my teeth too, i would be done in life.

it's true when we look at ourselves we are looking at ourselves from another angle but when other people look at us it's a different angle. Try having someone take a photo of you with the back camera of a phone and that's how you'll see the way others see you

I also lost abit of weight to even out my face more and chewed on my weak side. Now for my lazy eye: i got contacts and wore then practically everywhere now my lazy eye is much better. I would say now my face is very symmetrical now and im not scared of the tiktok inverted filter now lol@@FOOTYAS

Because of how tmj was affecting the aesthetics of my face, I felt so ugly and a lot of times I couldn’t bear to look at my face. It’s been really hard for me. I couldn’t stand it anymore so since a few weeks ago till now I’ve been doing the exercises from this video and a couple of others. I am happy to say doing this has gave me a lot of face symmetry left. I’ve still got a long way to go but I make sure to do this no matter how late and how tired I am. However! It is very important to sleep early and get a good amount of sleep. You have to do this in order for your body to recover faster. Steps to take in order to recover(the ones with stars will be the most important tips) - drink lots of water - ⭐️ make sure to have good posture. This doesn’t mean just apply to your shoulders. You have to make sure you back, shoulders, neck, head are all in a good posture position. - when you yawn, try to put the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth. This will prevent you from opening too widely and will help open your mouth in a non crooked way. - ⭐️ stop cracking your bones especially your tmj joint! - ⭐️ find a way to relieve stress. Whenever I would go on vacation my tmj would slowly go away. Now I’m not saying you need to go on vacation but I personally still need to find a way to relieve my stress. - if you sing, stop moving your jaw so much. Singing does not require you to move like Ariana grande when she does her runs. - don’t chew gum - use a hot pack/ice pack around the back & front of the neck, shoulders, and chestbone area to relax the muscles - find tmj massage videos that work for you - cupping therapy, acupuncture, and massages can help too - take a nice hot bath with epsom salt - ⭐️ make sure to use a pillow with proper neck support

alright i’m going to update this everyday!! i have a really asymmetrical face, one eye is a different shape, one side of my jaw is larger, one side of my lip is bigger, and one eyebrow is higher. my face was always symmetrical growing up and idk what happened :( Day ???: idk what day this is but i keep forgetting to do it, i’ve been very busy. it’s worked, but the results aren’t super dramatic so far. i’m doing some other excersises and the one i’ve seen most progress in is my eyebrow.

The mirror is a reflection, so it shows how we look like in reverse and we're used to seeing the reverse version of ourselves. Seeing how we look in pictures is strange sometimes unless you really have that symmetrical face. So pictures of yourself are far more accurate since what you see in mirror isnt what other people see.

I Just started this routine and I'm feeling a difference. It's only slight but I feel the muscles on the right side getting relaxed and sore accordingly when I message and exercise them

Cheek muscles get uneven if you chew your food on only one side that side gets bigger so start chewing your food on the other side if your jaw is uneven

This really does make a difference, I've also been sleeping and chewing on the opposite side than I normally do, and trying to have good posture, and I've been doing it for about 2 weeks now. My face is still pretty crooked, but soooo much better than it was. This has also helped so much with my shoulder, neck and jaw pain !! I can actually open my mouth all the way without it clicking at least 6 times or getting stuck lol

Be careful! On the part where he says to distance the top lip from the nose as much as possible, this affects the philtrum causing it to stretch out and by age your lip will sit much lower in your face

I'm doing this exercise for 1 week now and I can say it works. I've been doing these exercises thrice a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once before going to bed. I started chewing things on my right side (because I didn't use right side of my face much, started sleeping on my back and stopped holding phone on left side of my face). My left side is bigger than my right, and I can say it has fixed my jaw to pretty good extent. I clicked pictures for everyday, compared it, and found out so. However, it couldn't fix the problem of my unaligned nose or lips (P.S.- My Cupid's bow is unaligned, giving my upper lips and unaligned structure and one side of my lips, is a bit longer than the other). But, I'm not losing hope, I'll keep on practising these. I think, it could solve my problem because I didn't have an asymmetrical face during my childhood. It was symmetric to a pretty good extent, at least one couldn't point out my asymmetries. Only a few bad habits caused my facial asymmetry. I'm continuing these and if there is any significant changes. I'll definitely update you.

@@yaseerbeig1356 look, most of the face exercises are meant for muscles, a very few for cartilages and zero for bone. Now, if you have facial asymmetry due to bone, it's an obvious you've use dermal fillers or have to go under the knife. Face exercises aren't much help in that case. But as I mentioned, my face became highly asymmetrical due to my bad habits. So when I'm giving up on those and retraining my muscle, isn't in obvious that my muscle would start reshaping itself? That has happened in my case. But you've to be patient. I got visible results after performing it for like 1 month, that means more or less 90 times. If you don't have patience, Face yoga or natural remedies aren't for you buddy. If you think, you will do one day and get results over night, then it's a midsummer night's dream. Have patience and do it. If your facial asymmetry is due to muscles, you ought to get the results.

Man if this works you've just saved my confidence, this is my biggest insecurity, I've managed to get over most things I didn't like in my appearance including my weight, but THIS. I have such a hard time liking my face when both sides literally looks like two different persons on pictures. yo guys facial massages do work! you just have to do it religiously and make sure to apply moisturizer before doing these exercises coz they require so much skin pulling and it will be detrimental to your skin if you do it without moisturizing first. ive done this routine since quarantine and my face is pretty much symmetrical and slimmer now and i am no longer teeth grinding.

I’m starting these exercises today, I will actually keep track and leave a comment every day. I will also do the exercises from his 1 minute a day TMJ video. For reference, my eyes are level, my nose is crooked to the left but it’s a deviated septum (so I don’t expect it to get better because it’s the bone that has a deviation) and my jaw is dislocated (I hear clicking on my left jaw when I open my mouth and my left chin sticks out more than the right one). I will be doing the exercises on both sides.
Day 1: Finished them, the clicking sound stopped but my masseter muscles feel a bit in pain from the tension.

I’ve always been so conscious about my facial asymmetry. Mine’s really serious - my nose is crooked, my jaw is misaligned and both my cheeks are very different in size... I read more into the cause and found out that it could possibly be because of my scoliosis (which is also very severe). Ah... I just hate it... I’m going to try this method and hope that it helps!

I want to say big thank you to author of this video. I have been doing this exercises for three days, along with some other neck exercises.
I realized how much tension and even light pain that I have been ignoring for a very long time there is.
I have asymmetrical jaws and my doctor and dentist said that surgery is only way to correct it.
I still wear braces in bottom teeth and retainer in top teeth.
I believe in traditional medicine and I know my braces helped with my issues BUT WHY nobody ever told me about this exercises and massage?
If you have facial asymmetry you just have to to this exercises for your health's sake.
There is no fast results. Hyaluron fillers may help to get more balanced face but don't obsess over it - look at Ryan Gosling, his older photos, he has very asymmetrical face and I always liked him because he reminds me of myself.

I know im a little late but if you're reading this, check your posture and neck muscles. If you have your head tilted to the left on default, like me, over time your right neck muscles will get bigger than your left neck muscles, which will put more development on your right side of your face compared to your left. Right now im correcting my posture and training the left side of my neck

DUDE. I have all of these things, not sure what happened but when puberty hit my face got messed up in it. My nose is tilted to left by a lot. One side of jaw sticks out. And right side is larger.

Now clench the back teeth tightly, if it's asymmetrical, you'll feel one side touching first and the other side unable to fully clench as easily. Force it down so that both sides are tightly clenched and you'll feel the jawline and neck muscles push out to compensate. For extra measure, push your tongue up against the roof of your mouth, moreso on the side that couldn't fully clench. The more tension you feel the more effective it's working, so try to 'relax' in that shape for as long as you can and do it everyday, even after you start feeling and seeing results

This actually worked for me. Also followed tips from other RUclipsrs to stretch all the muscles all the way down the neck, chest, and shoulders. It made my nose and mouth even and my nose less droopy.

@@C__carsofficial both sides evenly - stretch up and pull down with my finger tips and hold it. I did this 4-5 times a week for 3 months. I showed my friends before and after pics and it was extremely noticeable for everyone the difference it made. Id have to say it had a lot to do with my posture, lifting habits, stress, and I am sure my sleeping position or combination. Either way it worked.

@@C__carsofficial to be honest you will feel where you have the most tension or pull as you do more and slowly focus on where you get the most tension. Just work your way around. Pulls skin down around your chest and move your neck around.

I didn't notice my face was uneven until I my back camera, so then at some point I tried to be okay with it after the awareness (ignorance is a bliss), once I started pointing it out to my friends, most of them said they didn't even notice or know what I was talking about until I showed them my face on the back camera. It's just how I see myself, I still think I'm at least above average on looks, but my teeth are jacked up and my jaw isn't helping it either, I will come back to this video in a few months and I'll do these exercises every night and every morning.

I have these three: bad eye, nose and jaw symmetry. I am going to use this quarantine to practice these exercises and see if I can get better results. Might even post before and after every week or so. Just remind me.
Udate: Hey! I almost lost my account password. Lol. So, I noticed the first week my left side (of the neck) got a little better. There has not been any changes so far but I had to take a little break since I have been too tired and with too much work to really focus on anything. Best way to see how you look like in an outsiders perspective,is to go to front camera and instead of clicking to take the picture , take a screenshot instead. It is 80% of how you look in the mirror. Also don’t sweat about it, people don’t notice it as much as you do being that you are so used to see yourself how you look in the mirror 100%
it really works! it bothered me a lot that one eye was higher than the other, when I started doing this massage it changed and the eye "went back to the place", and im shocked bc i started doing it the day before yesterday- what still bothers me is my mouth which is VERY crooked, it is more to one side of the face instead of being centered, i dont know how to fix it, it bothers me a lot and i probably only had to fix it with braces, but my mom doesn't want to go to the dentist to do a budget and maybe she doesn't even have the money to pay rn :/ my teeth are separated and it also bothers me, so in addition to fixing the asymmetry of the mouth it would fix my teeth too, i would be done in life.

it's true when we look at ourselves we are looking at ourselves from another angle but when other people look at us it's a different angle. Try having someone take a photo of you with the back camera of a phone and that's how you'll see the way others see you

UPDATE! ITS BEEN A MONTH AND A FEW DAYYS!! AND IM TELLING U THIS WORK SO WELL! i did this 2x a day night and morning and i slept on my back for the entire month. I also lost abit of weight to even out my face more and chewed on my weak side. Now for my lazy eye: i got contacts and wore then practically everywhere now my lazy eye is much better. I’m asian, my nose is a little uneven, my face is a little uneven, but people say I look handsome, look like a westerner, even say I look best in class amount guys, cause I dress nice, do hair well... hearing all of that, yes I have confidence but still came to this video, why? Day 1- My neck and jaw muscles feel relieved. This also helps with my posture! I got a whiplash so it really helps with recovery😁
Day 2- It feels so amazing to do these exercises.
Day 3- I was tired from work, so I’m doing this at 0:45AM(I researched it and google says it’s because I have an overbite. I will still continue and also do other exercises for overbite✌️
Day 4- my face is really uneven tue to my overbite. So it will take a longer time to fix it. But In Sha Allah, I will get a beautiful face and some noor on my face👍

I’ve had tmj/tmd for 9 years now. Because of it, my face became more and more uneven. Because of how tmj was affecting the aesthetics of my face, I felt so ugly and a lot of times I couldn’t bear to look at my face. It’s been really hard for me. I couldn’t stand it anymore so since a few weeks ago till now I’ve been doing the exercises from this video and a couple of others. I am happy to say doing this has gave me a lot of face symmetry left. I’ve still got a long way to go but I make sure to do this no matter how late and how tired I am. However! It is very important to sleep early and get a good amount of sleep. You have to do this in order for your body to recover faster.
Steps to take in order to recover(the ones with stars will be the most important tips)
- drink lots of water
- ⭐️ make sure to have good posture.
This doesn’t mean just apply to your shoulders.
You have to make sure you back, shoulders, neck, head are all in a good posture position.
- when you yawn, try to put the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth.
This will prevent you from opening too widely and will help open your mouth in a non crooked way.
- ⭐️ stop cracking your bones
especially your tmj joint!
- ⭐️ find a way to relieve stress.
Whenever I would go on vacation my tmj would slowly go away. Now I’m not saying you need to go on vacation but I personally still need to find a way to relieve my stress.
- if you sing, stop moving your jaw so much. Singing does not require you to move like Ariana grande when she does her runs.
- don’t chew gum
- use a hot pack/ice pack around the back & front of the neck, shoulders, and chestbone area to relax the muscles
- find tmj massage videos that work for you
- cupping therapy, acupuncture, and massages can help too
- take a nice hot bath with epsom salt
- ⭐️ make sure to use a pillow with proper neck support

alright i’m going to update this everyday!! i have a really asymmetrical face, one eye is a different shape, one side of my jaw is larger, one side of my lip is bigger, and one eyebrow is higher. my face was always symmetrical growing up and idk what happened :(
Day ???: idk what day this is but i keep forgetting to do it, i’ve been very busy. it’s worked, but the results aren’t super dramatic so far. i’m doing some other excersises and the one i’ve seen most progress in is my eyebrow.
