Regarding Kim’s acting getting better. People said the same thing about Lady Gaga in AHS5, it was her first major Hollywood role. She eventually won an award for it, but at the start of the season people said she was bad because it was hard to see the acting and easy to see the “Gaga”
It's weird to me that they would be so accurate about pelvic floor PT (aside from Cora not stopping when asked) but be so inaccurate about nurses being the ones to do ultrasounds. 🤣

I'm thinking that Dex is Ms. Preecher's son and that Dex's mother thinks Dex is her child when, in fact, her child was a creature baby, and the two newborns were swapped at birth. Dr. Hill is Dex's father, AND he's the doctor his mother is divorcing. I hope that makes sense. I thought the reference to Marc Jacobs "The Tote" bag was funny. Anyway, somehow Ms. Preecher has figured out that she's Dex's birth mother. Dr. Hill knows everything. Dex is clueless. The mother who raised Dex is, through therapy, remembering bits and pieces of her horrific marriage to Dr. Hill. Could there be a group of good witches and a group of dark witches? That's all I've got thus far. I'm just kinda thinking out loud. Oh and by the way, this storyline is set up to be one of the better of the AHS seasons since Hotel.

As an avid fan of AHS who watched all seasons, this season actually is one if the better ones. By this point, other AHS seasons would have gone off the rails and the story would be really hard to follow. This season is doing a great job with exposition while keeping the mystery and tension high. Excited for part 2! It's also amazing that the show has a lot of elements not seen in the books especially the campaigning.
I wasn’t even thinking about the strike being the reason for the season split when it was announced there was going to be 2 parts, so I figured they were doing what Stranger Things did where the 2nd half came out 1 month after the 1st. Had I known it was the strike and the 2nd half hasn’t even been filmed yet, I 100000% would’ve waited until they were both available. I’m way too impatient for this 😂 I’m looking forward to it because I read the book and really enjoyed it, and mostly I want to see what the show does with the rest of the story…. but it makes me wonder if the people who haven’t read the book are looking forward to the second half. Idk I just feel like there’s way too much confusing stuff going on that hasn’t had even a tiny fraction of an explanation, so I wonder if the first half was interesting enough for the non-readers to even care about waiting a year for the second half. 🤷🏼♂️ Also, I agree with you about Kim. I felt like in episodes 1-4, they just kept giving her these funny one-liners to make up for the fact she’s not really an actress I guess, but this last episode really impressed me. When she turned into bitch publicist, I was here for it 😂
What’s interesting to me is that all the other women they showed seem to offer up their babies in return for wealth & riches but so far that haven’t showed that being the case for Anna. I wonder if Dex or his dad offered up the baby? Or if Adeline and the coven wanted Dex for something the father did and these series of events would’ve happened to whoever he dated next. Wonder if Adeline was sent to make a baby with him or k*ll him or something but fell in love & decided not to?

I don’t even like the kardashians in any capacity but I like being honest with my comments and I didn’t think she did a bad job. She’s actually playing the character well considering she probably is one of the few ppl who has deep connections with people like her character but she’s been pretty decent in this role but idk why anybody is surprised when this woman has been acting on a show for years
Also I remember from one of your other videos where you talked about the picture of Dex & Adeline being folded and on the other side was Meg, & how they kinda played with that idea in episode 5 with Anna looking at the picture & Ivy disappearing & reappearing in the background.
You keep accidentally saying movie instead of show 😓 but I’m very interested to see how the show changes things cause so far it is making some changes from the book
Good video. I am also liking the show, and very shocked at how good Kim Kardashian has been! Waaaay shocked! If her acting doesn't work the character would just be a distraction, and not carry the weight that is very much needed for that role in the story. Just a thought: maybe Dex and Adeline were in the coven together, and they both decided to leave? Maybe that is why he is being targeted? I feel he's been too suspicious about everything, something just doesn't sit right. Anyway, another good video, I can't wait until Part 2 comes out, and for your reaction videos. I'm conflicted. Having watched all the seasons, they tend to start out strongly and then go completely wild (presumably for shock value/subverting expections) and I get the impression that the show is still being written, filmed and edited while the first few episodes are airing so that Murphy & co can make changes in response to the Internet. I don't think that's really the case but it's how it feels. I kind of thought that since they have a book they're adapting from it would negate that issue, but no. The book does not contain enough material to fit into 10 hours so they're making stuff up to add to the runtime which will have no relevance to the actual plot and will probably be unsatisfying in its conclusion. There is also the problem that AHS has its own lore surrounding witches. It would not surprise me if Billie Lourd and Leslie Grossman turn out to be their same witch characters from season 8, Apocalypse.

@allisonbaranowski the narrator was amazing, but when I read it again I will physically read it because there was so much I wanted to highlight but couldn't! So if you are someone who likes to annotate, you should physically read it because there is just su much in there. But the audiobook is a great choice if you don't highlight sections when reading
Im curious what you thought of the author's note. Its the one reason that Im finding AHS a little disappointing. It put things into perspective for me and made it all hit so much harder.
Oh I don't think the audiobook had an authors note! I am going to buy the physical book right now and I'll get back to you on that! I just read it and loved what she had to say. I'm looking forward to going though and physically reading the book before part 2 comes out so I can make all kinds of highlights! @@WhytheBookWins I had a baby and was blessed to be at an all woman hospital only things men did where ultrasounds (when it comes to the pregnancy process) and it was amazing and relaxing.

Rather than a man where they feel embarrassed. I do feel it’s up to the person. Me personally would recommend a woman but if I knew the person enough and knew they wouldn’t care I’d tell them just find one their most comfortable with.

However it is more than obvious that they are expanding past this from physiology horrors to scy fi and thrillers. If you actually look at the tags for the series they are billed as drama, scy fi and lastly horror.

I think Sonya is the reincarnation of Adalaide. Much like Anna’s baby growing rapidly. Maybe Ivy birthed Addy like Siobhan in the book.

AHS has always been more about psychological horror rather than gore and jump scares anyway. And that’s what they continue to do.
