- AHS: Delicate - Part One has wrapped up, and while we wait for the cast and crew to get back to working on part two, let’s take a look back on all that has gone down in the season so far. And, let’s just say I have conflicted thoughts.

My favorite episode is the epsisode with the Anna commercial lol, can't remember if it's the same episode but the episode when Anna goes into the basement (filled with jars) and gets snatched by the witches is creepy and amazing

I think this is season is great personally, I think based on the announcement of Kim and Emma they were leaning towards an unsettling and uncomfortable season rather than straight horror and even with the book its not scary its disturbing and confusing and complex and I really liked how the season is being adapted, it feels like as watchers we are supposed to move on the same speed as Anna because we are almost feeling exactly like her drained, confused, uncomfortable and concerned. I would say my faves characters are Siobhan and Preacher. Preacher because what exactly does she wants and Siobhan is to me the most confusing character in ahs universe like we don't know what she wants it feels she's a super mastermind kind of like the owner of hotel Cortez without knowing her purpose yet. and seeing how Siobhan goes from one extreme to another ( super nice and there for Anna to her biggest enemy is wild)
great thoughts!!! preecher is great, and i agree, once siobhan’s full motives are revealed i think it will add a lot to her character and her actions in this first part
To me in my opinion I think this season is a step up from AHS NYC but the season is moving slowly. Would you say the story moving slowly could be affected because of the writers strike and the actors strike?
Plus I feel like there’s a huge lack Cara Delevingne. I really hope that we get to see more of her in part#2.
I still think Kim Kardashian did an amazing job playing Siobhan Corbyn

Anything is better than that turd NYC was. So you are right it set the bar so low.
@@Emissary355 It really has to be my least favorite season yet, it was hard to get through, honestly. AHS will never be as good as it used to be but anything beats NYC, even American Horror Stories...

Can anyone tell me if there are any spiders in the intro or episodes? I had to unsub from the AHS subreddit because I couldn’t handle the posters.
there are spiders in the intro and, so far, i think there’s only one actual spider within the episodes, and its a small one in episode 1 when Anna and Dex are on a park bench (hopefully im not forgetting anything else)

Per usual, excellent video Skyler! 🎃 But yeah, overall, I’m feeling so mixed about this season. The later 2 episodes were definitely the strongest of the bunch, but this season really hasn’t hooked me in like others have. Visually it’s very impressive, but narratively it’s a bit too slow for my taste. It’s one of those cases where I neither hate it or love it. I will say that Kim Kardashian has really impressed me so far.
The actor playing Dex was a terrible casting. They have zero chemistry as a couple. I think Sarah Paulson would have played Anna better, Emma Roberts is not convincing as a woman in her 40s who cannot conceive - she looks like she is in her early 30s or late 20s. I feel like Kim K is the best thing about the season lol.
I just feel like you can't consider this good because it's not his own story. It's a book concept of rosemary's baby which isn't a story he came up with. So it makes it unoriginal

I knew Kardashian would get good press even from the one single episode i watched. The camera is almost never on her face when she speaks. This is a very old trick to make someoen appear great as an actress when you dont actually even see them properly.

I like the season so far its not the best, but its better than the last ones these past years. im exited to see how the season wraps up in just 5 episodes!
it’s definitely more fun than the last two seasons imo, i’m also excited to see if it can stick the landing in part 2!

a lot of good theories that i hadn’t thought about! i hadn’t considered Preecher’s child might be someone we know, that would add an interesting wrinkle in all of this! my theory on nicolette is that i think she is there to protect anna from whatever negative forces may be after her. the rest i feel like i can’t say without spoiling things that happen in the book!!! but i am curious what you mean by the Cult connection, i hadn’t noticed one aside from the general idea of cults and gaslighting.

Correction. AHS: Delicate is a really ugly mess. There’s nothing beautiful about the TV series in general.

This season was created during the writers strike and it shows. Overall, season sucked
hoping that they’ve put some more work into the part 2 scripts in the month and a half that the writer’s strike has been over
then why is it so fun
I like this season so far. Less virtue signaling, less "wokeness". I like the Rosemary's Baby vibes
We need NO WOKENESS in shows and movies.
Tbh I only watched this horrible season for Kim K she look likes she’s having fun with the acting and isn’t taking it seriously like Gaga did
Emma Roberts is miscast, she is unrelatable, hard to explain.

The only thing good about this show is getting to look at Emma Roberts. Everything else about it is terrible. American Horror was done a long time ago, terrible writers, poor stories and wokeness ruined the show.
