The last few eps of this season are going to be so good! I can feel it 🥲
The bathroom scene was crazy. I instantly noticed how realistic the fall looked like in comparison to the second episode. Not sure why but I feel it worked to build the craziness on the atmosphere.
I noticed that Babette had a necklace in ep 5. Not sure if it means what was coming or if she's also a witch (besides from what we see on the preview, where we see her without it and showing a scar, she was sitting with Preacher in ep 2)
I think the fall in ep 2 wasn’t even bad. It was just comedic 😭 but compared to ep 6 the 2nd bathroom scene was so .. violent and dark oml

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the map scene was dumb. That almost made me turn off the episode, it was so cheesy and poorly executed.
The scene with the Superfan was supposed to be overdone more overdone than the last one done in episode two at the Gotham awards in the bathroom, almost like a sign. This isn’t real. All of this is fake. Or this is being done on purpose.
idk if its just me, but one thing i wanted to point out is that emmas acting in certain scenes were like more decent compared to how she normally acts in serious roles. for example the sag awards speech thing or whatever was like pretty decent acting for emma. like it wasn't like groundbreaking or anything, i definitely could critique it in some ways, like the way shes speaking sounds a bit overdramatized and its giving me disney channel acting in her tone of voice, but her acting visually actually surprised me. like she actually gave me some believable emotion in her face which is something idk if i've ever really been able to say ive seen before in emma up until now tbh-
I thought the same too. I mean she is a great actress. It's just that she does great in bitchy roles! We've all grown to love her in those roles. She can pull off the more serious roles but this time she did far better than I've seen her do in the past. Sone actors/actresses are great at certain kinds of roles, and not others, they have their specialty and that's ok. Then there are those who can play a multitude of different types of roles and crush every one. Like Will Smith for example. He can do funny but he can also do serious and his emotional roles are on point! He will have u in tears right along with him! Like in pursuit of happiness or I am legend. He had a really emotional one in fresh prince too! The one where his dad walks out on him again.
@@danielleschiazza6172 honestly I feel like Emma just needs to take some time to work on her voice when acting. She’d actually be widely considered as a great actress if she just worked on that one thing. Shes a former child actress, and most child actors strive to have that over exaggerated voice, and it’s hard to grow out of things you grew up doing. So like, it’s completely understandable for Emma to still have some of that in her acting. But I feel like all she needs to do is make an effort to fix it, and learn to avoid it when she needs to. I even catch zendayas time on Disney rubbing off on her at times, both as a person, and when she acts, yet she’s literally an amazing, emmy winning actress. But I think zendaya learned how to turn it off when it’s necessary in recent years. I think that’s all Emma needs to do, and before you know it she’ll have that Oscar too.

I love this seasonnnnnn. one thing that bothers me is they don’t show Babette’s death, and then don’t show hamish’s and also the way they directed Anna’s mom’s death could have been better. It feels cheap sometimes give me some goreeeee and death scenes. 😂😂 but nonetheless I can’t wait for the next episode
i am wondering if those deaths be flashed back to once all is revealed, it would definitely suck if all of the deaths end up being off screen.
First time watcher but I loved this recap/review.
imo this episode was INSANE. maybe the writing isn’t perfect, but it’s a huge improvement from other seasons. it’s absolutely nailing every horror aspect I could ask for. for the first time in any season since Roanoke, I am finally genuinely TERRIFIED for these characters.
If you put Emmas funeral speech side to side, the funeral scene in Scream Queens & the scene in this episode it looks real interesting regarding the tone of the shows.
I’m definitely enjoying this season comparing to last.
How could you not talk about the amazing sassy scenes at the art gallery?? I love Talia. She’s such a beach ❤
I would be a little suspicious of my so called best friend and manager who conveniently shows up every time I am having a melt down to play my savior!!!
I like this season for the story but i hate that they make motherhood out to be some type of a disease. It's disgusting! U can have a career and be a mother or u can be a stay at home mom and wife, it's up to u but neither is better than the other. It's about what fits your life and what makes u happy. Giving life is a blessing! It's a frickin super power! Women ate the only beings who can navigate a soul from one spiritual realm to another. Having a career and lots of money isn't all there is to life. Once u are old and u have no one to share it with or no legacy, is it really worth it? There is so much more to life than work work work. Idk this is kind of pissing me off! 😂
