The "Salon" name has nothing to do with women's hairstyles or hair salons! In the Classic era of the 1920's and 1930's, upscale cars were introduced at "salons"--shows in prestigious locations that showcased the high-end models. The name is meant to revive that upscale image as the most luxurious of the Cutlass models.
In 75 they ONLY came single exhaust. They only dual exhaust cars were like Camaro/Firebird, or Nova/Apollo and they were from the muffler only. Anyway, this dual system was done beautifully and probably how GM would have done it. The Salon is a low-productiin sub-model, no doubt the lowest amount sold. Most were Cutlass Supreme. This is a really nice vehicle. If i were gonna change anything I'd change those exhaust tips to a more OEM look with beveled ends. That catalytic converter has been replaced, and that's good. I had a 75 Cutlass Salon in triple white when it was new. Really liked that car back in the day!
