In sept 2022 i finally sold dads red with white stripes 1975 442 he special ordered new with a 455 and th400 trans. His car had 12,000 original miles when i sold it. Ive seen it since, dads car sat in garage same place from time it was delivered from Charnock Olds in Dearborn michigan in may of 1975 until it was sold. Still smelled like new like it did day we brought it home. Dads 75 442 is in my opinion the very best example of these cars left in existence. This one is nice tho'. I remember someone dad worked with bought a 75 H/O back then and brought it over for us to see. When he seen dads car he was jealous because ours had a factory 455

How can you have a remote start installed on a car that has a carburetor that you have to be in the car to pump the gas pedal once to set the choke plate closed? BAHAHAHAHAHA! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
easily remedy ..headers dual exhaust with hooker aero chamber mufflers and shazam ....650 edlebrock spread bore carb and performermer intake .change the cam and heads and your running with hemi territory ..don't complain about a car that's 50 years old bro ...your paying for the styling at this point in 2024 ...get creative and spend some money if you want to go fast .

In case anyone is wondering this car makes 170 hp / 275 ft-lb of torque, the W-30 with the 455 makes 190 hp / 350 ft-lb of torque.
Net ratings as opposed to Gross ratings of prior years made it appear that power was less.

1975: No more dual exhausts, no thanks to the f________ catalytic converter. The 455 was choked to death with a single exhaust.
