Pete Way(Bass) ( RIP )
Paul Raymond(Keyboards) ( RIP )
Jason Bonham(Drums)
I've always contended that UFO was one THE most underrated bands of all time!
Us cool kids knew.
yes
Great power.
@@sargentwaag1483 😏
Your contention is correct.
UFO, should be in the hall of fame
100% they should be
I was 18 when I first saw UFO, 1979 Sacramento. Judas Priest opened for them. I'm 64 and I listen to them almost every day. Three summers ago, I got the ice cream man to play Rock Bottom when driving down our street. I'm at that age where I don't give a s***.
Paul Raymond was UFO's sound just as much as Schenker. His understated keyboards were amazing.
Strangers in the Night would have sounded very thin without Paul's fills and backup rhythm playing and keyboards...he truly was that inside glue you don't think about when you say, wow, that song was great. His duel leads with Schenker on SITN are magical.
Yep, but all nothing without Phil Mogg
Except on the early albums where they found great and there's no keys.
I saw UFO in Chicago October 2017. Raymond and Mogg had an unmatched synergy and the music left me speechless. Such a great band.
One of my all-time favorite rock power ballads. 🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤
Best melodic rock band ever. Stunning 😊
Paul Raymond, the Rick Wright of hardrock: minimalistic playing, delicate but oh so efficient accents, without turning a rock band into a cheesy act.
The song has meant so much to me over the years it's hard to put it into words.. pure beautifully melodic rock from Masters at what they do..of the Greatest..
I agree !
Probably one of the greatest melodic songs of all time 😀
ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО! БРАВО! БРАВО! БРАВИССИМО! МУЗЫКАНТЫ !!! СОЛИСТ, ПЕВЕЦ!!!😍🌏😍🌎😍🌍😍🐶🐱🇷🇺
This is quite possibly the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. The studio version is great, the Strangers in the Night live version even better, but this version takes it to another level. Much as I love Maiden, Purple, AC/DC, none can match UFO
UFO, BY FAR. 🎶
It is a beautiful song. People do not realize that these gentlemen are true artists, educated in their craft. This video is exceptional.
Absolutely no one can touch them
I agree, I was there for Iron Maiden supporting Judas Priest, Ozzy leaving Sabbath and his Blizzard of Oz tour, I saw all the deep purple spin offs but UFO were and still are my favourite
There was some great music around d when this came out, just lime now, but UFO were genuine musicians
RIP Mr. Raymond.....you were an amazing musician & your music will never die
Mr.Way as well
@@AB-wv1bs Reaching a bit here, but Tonka, too!
This is a excellent song, they don't make them like they used to. Fuck music was better back in the 60s, 70s, 80s. A great era to grew up in. I'm glad I experienced it. Better then todays crap generation.
the most underrated band ever. UFO kicks ass!!!. Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, led zepp, deep purple and ufo. The greatest bands in the world. According to me.
accordez moi ça in french
You just nailed my list! All English too, hmmm!!
I saw that I had to get one more comment in on this iconic bad ass bunch UFO you're music lives forever for many to 💕 😘 love
Don’t forget Golden Earring
UFO belong in the RnR HOF like the rest of those Bands!!!
Can't express how much I love UFO. How much they meant to me growing up, how many hard times they helped me through and especially this song. Tremendous version.
I remember I had a wonderful gal. But chased this UFO, God I gotta rock 🎶⚔️🛡️🇺🇸🏴🇫🇮🇨🇦🎸🕊️🌎
Yes, good for you. I know it helps
❤ my kind of music, and I love the leadsinger, this song is master❤❤❤
SUPERB music gets no better!.
the harmonics from Vinnie's Ibanez 🎸 along with Marshall Amps brings 😢 to my eye's in an AMAZING ballad is what it represents for me how about all the other listeners that have had the PLEASURE to 👀 it? the leads R epic man Vinnie nails the last solo that he shreds the neck & strings absolutely flawless.the drums R fantastic as well very clean version being recorded in a studio setting.
RIP Pete Way , Paul Raymond and Tonka Chapman...what a great band they were!🤘
Wow what an amazing performance of the classic UFO song Love to Love you🎸🎸
If I was stranded on a deserted island and had one song to listen to for the rest of my days this is the song!
The best rock song ever . Thank you UFO.
Holy Sh*%& T Phil Mogg's voice is dead on !! major underrated singer. I love how at 6:12 he shoulder shrugs like he is unsure of how he sounds... Well Phil you blew me away my friend :)
My friend phil was never an underated singer, very far from it........
Yes ma ma mia he's blown me away till last time i saw UFO IT WAS THERE LAST SHOW IN ST.CHRALS ILL. A COUPLE YEARS AGO SO SAD AT THE END RIP TO ALL THIS AMAZING BAND MEMBERS WE LOST RIP PAUL PETE
Mogg underrated? Jeez 🙄
@@stephengiffith1010 their last show
Phil moggs voice has always been one of best voices in rock seen ufo over 100 times he never sounds any different he is awesome
R.I.P. Pete Way, if ever there was a rock star, it was you.
Phil is so underrated as a vocalist in the wider world of rock. The guy is... just too good to be true, if you ask me. Love those vibratos
OMG...The best 9 minutes you will ever spend in your entire life...listening to this song!!!
Actually there is...listening to the original release is better
exelent song, ufo is from the greatest rock bands of the ages
Saw these icons 7 times in the late 70's - early 80's. With Dr. Hook a few and Molly Hatchet a few. 👍💛
Absolutely most underrated band ever. Why they weren't more popular is a mystery to me. Anytime you can add some classical instruments to a rock song speaks volumes as to the quality of the music (Scorpions live with the Berliner Philharmoniker comes to mind). Incredible version here.
Everyone who is knocking this song only wishes they had written and played it. It is a classic so get over it. Awesome always.
I DONT SEE ANYBODY KNOCKING IT ?
@@joegarza3445 He must mean the 129 thumbs down. UFO are.incredible. 🤘🏻
This is a bad ass song! Just look at the fret work of the lead guitarist! Good God man, what do the naysayers like? It's a small world?
Fantastic song...fantastic Band
R.I.P. Paul...thanks for the memories and music .
Beautiful, beautiful!! This band is amazing !!
One of my fav songs EVA - love you Phil💗💋💗💋💗 your the BEST
Agree, Phil is absolutely awesome, especially in this song.
R.I.P Paul Raymond and Pete Way gone but never forgotten.
Love to, Love to Love you. We always have and always will.
God bless you Pete Way & Paul Chapman.
RIP Pete Way....2020 was very hard on UFO....
One of THE greatest songs of all time. Should be up there with all the rock classics that every one knows and loves.. A great performance of the song.
Got me in tears here 😢😭 Just a Beautiful, Soulful, Amazing song 💖💖
This song is how you marry rock music with classical music , absolute perfection
This song is one of the best parts about growing up
Gotta love the combination of Guitar, keyboard and violin
In tears. Heartbroken about Pete Way's passing. A wonderful bass player and by all accounts a great guy. My heart and thoughts are with his family and friends.
So much moving song and even much more moving version.
So beautiful.
Incredible legendary musicians...from UFO, I miss Pete Way, Paul Raymond and Paul Chapman...may they all RIP...music like this will never be made again...
One of the most beautiful and amazing songs I’ve ever heard. Put this on with your airpods or headphones whatever and just listen to every second of in the dark by yourself and it will change you forever…I love UFO and lots and lots of rock snd metal and I have to listen to this one over and over again. Perfection…
Favorite song of all time! Tell me why they never have Michael Schenker on the list of top ten guitarists ever. UFO was right up there with any rock band and i would go anywhere in California to see them live and in the nineties went to see them at a small venue at the coach house that has about 500 seats and it was the highlight of my life being inches from the band as they played a 2 hour set of there classics on a Tuesday night. So good to have them in my era growing up in the seventies and thanks for the music UFO.
Schenker is on my top 10 for sure. I never for the life of me will understand how this band wasn't a bigger deal mainstream. I guess that just goes to show you...
Just found out Paul Raymond passed away. So heartsick over this. This song will always bring a smile to my face.
Makes me smile and cry at the same time
Phil still sounds brilliant all those years after Strangers in the Night. Criminally underrated singer and band.
There aren't many rock singers of Phil Mogg's age who could still do this....a much under-rated vocalist.
Missing my daughter ....this song hits the spot!!!!
Says a lot when the Philharmonic is more than happy to send the boys. No digital correction, just the boys, the instruments, the amps. LEGENDS.
Thank you Dad for getting me into this band rip dad
Thank you Paul Raymond for a lifetime of amazing music and memories. Rest easy good man!
This is on Lights Out from 1977. The whole album is fantastic.
Because I've been listening to UFO for 30 years
I sure miss the good old days.
I am particularly moved by this performance
So much emotion !!!! Tears
trop cool. J'avais acheté l'album en 1981 et j'adore toujours autant cette chanson. Phil Mogg je t'aime. Catherine.
superbe, toujours émouvant d'écouter cette chanson
One of my very favorite male singers. SO underrated! This is my favorite all time song.
BEAUTIFUL ~ BEAUTIFUL ~ BEAUTIFUL!!!
Same here❤
UFO has always been a class act. I saw them live in Seattle for the Lights Out Tour... AWESOME...Michael Schenker had not yet left them to go solo and he was incredible.
I saw the same tour in San Antonio. They opened for Rush and It was amaze-balls!
@@everettbyromiii47 same tour Baltimore UFO stole the show Schenker was the reason I went out the next day and bought every UFO album that Schenker had a hand in !! Cheap Trick opened the show !!
UFO one of the best Hard rock of ever...no so lucky but i don't no why.... they composed a lot of really Great Song!!
This has got to be the greatest song.
R.I.P. Paul Raymond your Music is forever - Thanks
RIP Mr. Paul Raymond. The beautiful tones you created for your music, were not only captivating, but truly living notes that provided me with life, in a time when I should have left this earth. Thankfully, God had other plans for me.
My. Phil Mogg - Your voice doesn't sound a day over 25 yrs young.
God bless you all, and thank you for this remade version of this classic rock song.
One of the best songs for me.
Reminds me of high times in the 70's...
My take, love to love. UFO's best, I would never settle for less. Powerful, excellent energy..... thanks for posting..... still sounds great 😃..,...
Absolutely Beautiful.. Out There! 🙏
Mogg is still oneof my personal favs...this takes me back to a special time in my life & loves..misty green & blue is right.
UFO and Thin Lizzy, two of the most influential and criminally underrated bands of history!!
Very nice song
CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I'VE NEVER SEEM THIS AWESOME BAND..ALL THE TIMES THEY MADE IT TO SAN ANTONIO,TX MY LUCK I WOULD HAVE TO WORK..THAT SUCKED.I COULD NEVER GET THE DAY OFF..THEY ARE ON MY BUCKET LIST FOR SURE NOW..I HAVE TO SEE THEM...
Doesn't get any better than that!!
What a timeless piece of music, UFO DEFINITELY ROCKS
We lost a great legend, Rest in peace Paul Raymond, you will be missed.😥❤🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
I love and always have loved U.F.O. One the great British classic rock bands. 10/10!
The very best.
This still Rocks! UFO
This is one of the first bands to introduce me to Music.
R.I.P PAUL RAYMOND,,,UFO FIRST BAND I EVER SAW LIVE,,MANCHESTER APOLLO,,1982,,,SO MANY GREAT ALBUMS
Was that the first MSG tour? I was there too
Same here !! UFO opened for Rush , my first concert ever . I was blown away , i was right in front .
Rest easy Paul. Thank you for the music.
Awesome! one of the best-crafted rock songs of all time. Never get tired of listening to this - strings section also works a treat. UFO have so many great songs and should have had more recognition - what a band!
Simply outstanding. Whatever your taste in music, I do not consider you would dislike this for any reason. Thank you messrs Mogg, Way, Moore, Bonham, & of course, the venerable Mr. Paul Raymond - I hope you're entertaining the folks - wherever that may be :D
I'm 22 years old and this is one of my all time favorite songs gives me nostalgia of a time that I never lived in
A beautiful version of a song for the ages! Thinking a lot about UFO these days, for obvious reasons. Love you all, God Bless.
Sweeeeet :-) My first car was an old 1970 Chevelle and I put an 8 track player in it. I had this UFO tape on the front seat all the time. Great memories of a great time in my life. 19 years old and all was good in my world. Sometimes I wish I could go back for a while. Anyway, the saying that they don't make songs like this anymore is so true:-)
Wow Phil Moog is on for this, bless his dusty heart
No one could ever sing with the Pain and feel that Phil Mogg sings this, one of their most progressive UFO Classic songs with !!.
This is one bad ass song played by a great band that cared about their original sound.
one word and only 1 word describes this song "Masterpoecce"
This is one of UFOs masterpieces. Paul Raymond was an amazing musician and true artist. God speed Paul. You have joined the gems of Rock and Roll Heaven.
