I have this tool for about a year! Always using it for floor work and electrical. As long as the blades are sharp, it cuts like a mofo! For metal, cut slowly for better turn out (don’t just ram it). Use the sander for tight spots/hard to reach angles. Love this tool! Thanks for the video.

*We are replacing the subfloor in our home **MyBest.Tools** and this tool has proved to be invaluable. So many different uses. Cutting away boards in tight places, cutting water pipes to name a few. We love Dewalt tools in general, but have really enjoyed the flexibility and durability of this multitool.*

Thanks for the demo. Bought one a few hours ago, and couldn’t tell by the drawings how to mount the cutting blade. This was a big help. Thank you.

I'm ordering one now. Just got the 20V Max grinder and reciprocating saw. Some of my Dewalt tools are 20 years old and still run fine.

June 2021 Home Depot has the 2amp battery and charger on sale for $99 and you can get this atomic oscillating tool free. I picked one up. With tax $106 for tool and charger isn’t a bad deal. Since all my other dewalt’s have full size batteries no biggie on the smaller one

This is a solid tool defiantly worth the 99 by its self the battery and charger are a bonus!

Thank you for this video! It was exactly what I needed to see. I have never used an oscillating tool and was feeling a little unsure, but now I'm good to go! Wish I could find such a video about every tool I buy!

Cool. Just ordered one. Now I know what the packaging should look like. I just picked up the 20V max recip saw and grinder and they are awesome.

Can I just keep the adapter on the tool itself. Like tighten it down and leaving it there?

I have this and so far only used it for light projects. You think this will cut some 3/4" galvanized pipe? It's in a tight space for my recip saw.

i prefer the xr version with tue 3 speed selector, more control, especially when you want to lock it at a lower speed. cant do that with the Atomic.
