What a pleasant trip back in time! This was a live performance at Frankfurt Jazz Fest recorded live October 10, 2006. The Line up was Otis (Vocals,acoustic gtr, harmonica, banjo and mandolin), Cassie (Bass, Vocals) Zach Miskin (Cello), Josh Kelly (Drums and Percussion) and myself Jonn Del Toro Richardson(Guitar). Otis, Josh and I had been out for a couple weeks and this night was the first night I'd played with Cassie and Zach as they joined up with us later in the tour. A friend of mine found this show bootlegged on line its titled "Otis Taylor, Trance Blues Project" remember the show like it was yesterday. Was playing my 54 Goldtop through a Fender Vibrolux and a ProCo Rat for overdrive with the tremolo from the amp.
Again. Fell off my chair. That is so pleasant to listen to. While listening, you just stop everything and float !!! I always found Otis's voice heavenly. His daughter's voice is as peacefull.
I'm a White boy, my friend from Basic Training , USAF a Black boy, 50 years ago, and I just reconnected a month ago....we both don't have much longer on this dirt....I passed this song to him....brothers.
In my next life, I’m gonna be doin’ some different things with some different folks. Wandered too long before I found my tribe. Love to hear Otis et al in all their manifestations.
Excellent song, the fiddle by Anne Harris sets the mood then the guitar takes over, Just Beautiful!!! Cassie Taylor has a beautiful Voice also. You live music is awesome!! Thank You Otis and the gang!!!!

I saw Otis 10 days ago. Magnifique !!! Anne is the sexiest violin woman. He had a 20 years old SG guitarist. Amazing ! And what can I say about the bass ... mad bends ! This song with Cassie is a beauty ! Long life Otis !!!

I agree totally I have not heard a bad song from Otis and his band. It amazes me how you can really tell who cares about the music that they're putting out the quality is always better when musicians are writing and recording music that comes from their hearts and for these guys and others like them I can't think of enough music is the only thing that makes my life bearable that and the Lord above and my family and my kids
