There can't be a cross over Capcom fighting game without Ryu. It's like mandatory to have him in it.

@@greatwavefan397 eh, hit or miss. Don't get me wrong, I am a Dante Main. But, it comes to just fighting game crossover (Tekken X Street Fighter) and not no company cross over like (Capcom and Marvel.) I don't see Dante in it. But I do see Dante if the showing all of Capcom.
It's also not a cross over Capcom fighting game without megaman x. Unless it's infinite that doesn't count.

It could probably happen knowing Sega is very laidback and one of the coolest video game companies.

If there's one character who I feel is missing from this, it's gotta be Frank West. Sure Leon is the more iconic Capcom zombie killer, but Frank is still plenty popular in his own right, and is a fan favorite from MVC and TVC. Not to mention, we're probably never gonna get another Dead Rising game again, so crossover stuff would be the best places to see him.
Also, he's covered wars you know.
Facts
Frank has now become one of those characters that probably won't be seen for a while when it comes to a crossover fighter. Due to the issues had with Dead Rising 4, Capcom probably won't want to acknowledge him for a fair while, whereas Leon is a massively iconic character to the mainstream gaming audience
Alternatively, use Ran Hibiki instead for once.

I like the arcade mode addition of the secret bosses & rival battles. That would be far more entertaining than a 2 hour story mode. I'm surprise you only added more Street Fighter characters than Sonic characters.
Funny thing is that these guys have all met each other thanks to a sonic and megaman crossover comic
I think it would be funnier if instead of Chris shooting the house of the dead zombies it would be typing of the dead and he’d use the typewriters from resident evil

This is a really cool concept for a future crossover game that I hope happens some day(even though it probably won’t, but it’s not as unlikely as say, an MVC4). There are a bunch of characters I’d love to see included on both sides, like Knuckles, Mitsuru Kirugu and Adam Hunter on the Sega side, and Cody, Jon Talbain and Rashid on the Capcom side.
And as well as to add both Amy and Roll in both sides for the Base Roster. Seriously, we need to bring on the both of them.
For a more out-there pick, I'd have *Magician Type 0* from _The House Of The Dead_ on Sega's side. As the most iconic boss in the series, he'd fit very well as Sega's horror series representative (he could be an effective rival to the _Resident Evil_ guys in particular), and his teleportation, claws and pyrokinesis could give him a very interesting fighting style that I can see being a mix of zoning and rush-down. Plus, I think we can all also agree that his theme absolutely kicks ass as well!
Meanwhile, at least Magician can still be a DLC Fighter.

Likewise, with the Capcom representative to balance it out, there's quite a few I have ideas for them (Regina from _Dino Crisis,_ Zack and Wiki from _Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure,_ Biff Slamkovich from _Saturday Night Slam Masters,_ and Pure & Fur from _Adventure Quiz: Capcom World 2,_ for example), but my personal pick would have to be *Ayame* from _Power Stone._
With her, I'd say there's plenty of potential for her to have a fun, varied and technical fighting style - being a skilled ninja/circus acrobat and having her own Power Change form, ala Falcon - friendly rivalries with Joe Musashi and Ulala (and possibly Sonic?) on the Sega side in particular, and her expressiveness and personality (cheerful and upbeat but likably devious and snarky; as seen in the _Power Stone_ anime, which would translate well to any new games) meaning that she could get in plenty of funny lines.
Meanwhile, I would go-onboard on bringing Amy and Roll into the Base Roster if I'm the one who made this video, so if Sonic and Classic Mega Man are shoe-ins because they've crossed paths with each other, then why not?
And for an Eternal Champions rep, then well, we need to think of someone else.
@@maxleon61702 Fair enough! For the _Eternal Champions_ rep(s), I had two in mind in particular. If it were up to me, the first would be *Xavier Pendragon,* due to his interesting backstory - as a warlock and former blacksmith from Salem, Oregon who was executed during the Witch Trials but fought for the opportunity to undo his death - and the sheer potential for a unique staff and sorcery-based moveset. In particular, I'd see him as a predominantly zoning/stone wall fighter, but still with some good close-up options.
The other was *The Eternal Champion* themselves, who I figured could work well as both a late-game opponent (alongside Akuma), and with a varied moveset based on their various forms and the idea of maintaining perfect balance. In particular, I was thinking a form of them could be one of two secret, super-difficult Bonus Bosses; in particular, a corrupted version (based on the Dark Champion?) brought about by defeating Akuma in an off-screen battle and absorbing his Satsui No Hado, ala God Rugal in _Capcom VS SNK2._ Likewise, the other one would be Oni (through Akuma defeating the Eternal Champion and taking their powers for himself instead), so which one you fight could depend on certain things.
@@alexv3375 yep and maybe, an Expansion Pack that not only has all of the DLC Fighters but also, some new additions too (and Majima and Vergil).
The Story Mode can be expanded and as well as to include 1vs1 and 3vs3 options.

This video is great, loved the idea, and the roster, but... it's weird that knuckles is not in the roster, he is a very importante sonic character, and it's weird that he is not in the roster, he fits perfectly in a fighting game, he is the most "fighting looking" character in the franchise. also kinda weird that bonanza bros are not in the roster, after you mentioned them, that would be a great addition, but overall a great concept and a great video. i would love to see you making more videos like this one.

They could just say the Streets of Rage team joined the tournament to get closer to the South Town team and just say that Geese Howard has some kind of connection to Mr. X. They could even make the story kind of cheesy like the old 80's/90's cop movies... dood!

How could you possibly leave out the greatest fighter EVER to grace a game on any console and that of course is Hornet from Daytona 500 famously turned fighter in Fighters Megamix

Tails’ Level 3 could also be Super Tails + the Flicky Army of Death
I feel like Kiryu won't cut the roster for the same reason that the yakuza director didnt want him in tekken. He doesn't hit women. Maybe Majima though
But hey, gotta convince SEGA and Capcom to let him stay for a good reason.
Mega Man follows laws of Robotics (except MM7) but that doesn't stop him from participating in fighting games to fight against humans.

I kind of dig this. I feel that instead of Eggman and Wily as the final bosses, have it be either perfect chaos and orochi with a fusion of the two as a secret boss after you beat one of them.
Or Akuma _(Street Fighter)_ and either Dural _(Virtua Fighter)_ or the Eternal Champion _(Eternal Champions),_ ala the former and Rugal Bernstein in _Capcom VS SNK2,_ or Cyber Akuma in _Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter._ I could see either being a strong combination!

Good roster! I think you only missed a few cool chars like a megami tensei rep (aka atlus main frenchise, persona is a spin off of it), and ukiki cuz monkey ball sure is blowing up.
I would definitely welcome Yu Narukami. Especially if his moveset from Persona 4 Arena is somehow incorporated.

This has gotta be the most well done roster I've ever seen for a game like this, it's clear you've done your research about every one of these franchises, and that you know and care about these characters as well, I'd love to see something like this happen, and, although I'd make a few changes, I would be more than happy to play a game that's just like this

For Megaman I'd do assorted weapons from 1 through 10 as his main specials and even some of his command normals with Mega Man 11's Pile Driver as a level one, power gear as an install super and the MegaMan 7's rush adaptor showing up for a cinamatic level 3.

Stage ideas sound like something straight out of Playstation All stars book with franchises mixing in one stage. Would be cool to see a giant monster from Phantasy Star and one from Monster Hunter just duking it out in the background. A rep from from those two franchises would be cool too.

Look you talk about joke characters but I feel there is not a better joke character than the Hornet from fighters megamix. They took a race car and made it a fighting game character and it's hilarious. It's the best joke character ever and has to be in Sega Vs Capcom.

Needed: Ristar. Also, for fun, take a leaf from Fighters Megamix and put in the dang Hornet (as a DLC fighter?). And as much as you don't like it, Altered Beast Guy would bring a lot to the game as well, especially in sufficent damage removes a transformation and good enough combos enable transformations. And, I KNOW Shadow is super popular, but Amy's hammer fighting style, mixed with hammer jumps for a strong aerial game would simply bring more to the table Also, instead of House of the Dead, use Typing of the Dead! Put in those words to type! And put the Space Harrier dragons in the Monster Hunter stage.
We need a third Project X Zone.

Nice character picks, but I would have included Gene from Godhand, Nights from Nights into Dreams, maybe Tillis from Burning Rangers, and possibly just a straight up dragon from the Panzer Dragoon games. The Saturn era needs more love here.

I wanna see this game so badly. Imagine seeing Ryu vs Akira, or Sonic Vs Mega Man. It would be perfect, and I honestly would prefer 3v3 similar to Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, since that game felt so good to play

It's very true, society absolutely needs this crossover and every CEO of both companies until it happens should be arrested for not letting be a series with 7 entries at least by now.
In all seriousness, I rock heavy with most of this roster, very good picks and your priorities for your decision making are exactly what I would do if I were to make this. As well as showing strong knowledge or at least researching the various series and characters giving them their due props, which I always respect for more obscure picks in these kinds of videos. Especially hits home cause I've been on both a huge Sega and Capcom kick lately checking out their awesome franchises beyond what I grew up with. Also great idea including a stage roster as well.
Just ONE small little critique/note: Cyberbots actually has modern day ports, one in the Capcom Arcade Stadium, available on all current platforms and an upcoming one in the Capcom Fighting Collection coming in a few months also to all platforms iirc. I think Fighting Collection will be porting the home version that includes Devilotte as a playable and Akuma Mech, at least i hope it does. Looking forward to that.

I was worried you weren't gonna do Sakura to be honest. I love that series, and I'm glad to see it getting some love here. I'd do this roster very differently, but it's a solid lineup.

Alright I finished the vid, it's massive and think it would be a bit better if you broke it up into chunks, and to keep some things in your vid in the vid, I think we it would have been a perfect opportunity to do more rivals unite stuff because at the start Capcom and Sega had a lot of similar titles, like if you had like Axel and Cody meet it'd be a bit crazier because they were rivals in the 90's. I think also as you said we need more niche unknown characters so not everyone needs to be a straight rival like you could have someone like Alter Beast guy and Unknown Soldier as characters also. Did you know about Sengoku Basara X? It's a fighting game developed by ASW for Capcom and Sanada and Date are 100% realized. I wonder how far this could go and it was an interesting ride, thank you for that.

Man, talking about mandatory SEGA reps and including Arle in that list, that makes me happy. SOOOO many people don't talk about Arle, and way too many people don't even know what Puyo Puyo is, let alone Madou Monogatari. I'm kinda surprised she wasn't added into Smash, but that's life.
I'm not much into fighting games, but I'd pick up with a game with Sonic and Zero and Beat and Chun Li in a heartbeat.

That's what i'm waiting for! you simply gave everything to a complete game and I loved that, especially how you tried to highlight each franchise from both companies and I would love to see that happen, if it already happens twice in the Archie Comics so Why not do the same thing with games? It has enough potential to break everyone's expectations and surprise a lot! I really hope that happens one day because even Ian Flynn said he's interested in writing a story for a Sonic fighting game and he's even surprised why there hasn't been a SEGA VS Capcom yet with so many requests from fans

Hot take: MvCI was fucking AMAZING and everyone slept on it because of the tone-deaf comments from the developers about why certain characters were absent. "Function" and all that. Game was still amazing mostly because Jedah and Morrigan were in it.
It's not like we'll ever get another DarkStalkers so putting two of its hottest characters in Mahvel and making them a fair part of a decent storyline is always welcome

There is hope for a new Darkstalkers. Capcom is probably doing yet another Capcom test with The Capcom Fighting Collection to determine whether another Darkstalkers are in the cards. They did it with Darkstalkers Resurrections, they did it with a website to gauge interest in Megaman Legends 3 and so forth. Half of the collection is Darkstalkers, so it's pretty likely.

Worlds Collide does reference the comics so I like that idea
