_Marvel vs Capcom 4_ should be like _Super Smash Bros Ultimate,_ completely true. The funny thing is, in all the games where Protoman is playable, he has higher power but lower defense than Megaman. He takes double damage from anything he doesn’t block with his shield, and has a bigger charge shot than Megaman (or just having the charge if Megaman doesn’t.) The issue would be balancing the use of his shield (Maybe it has a durability meter of its own?) Also, if Megaman returned (and he should; I want this to be MvC Ultimate after all), he should be mechanically unusual to distinguish him from X. My concept is just to keep his moves but not Supers, from MvC2, but also give him the ability to gain certain moves from characters he beats in the story mode (up to three). For online vs, you’d choose which ones to use from the list you’ve acquired. For his Supers, I’ve scrapped the Rush and Beat transformations entirely. For Level 1, he uses the Magnetic Shockwave he gained in his _Marvel vs Capcom 2_ ending. I see this as juggling for multiple hits, and punishing players who are far away by having a bigger wavefront to avoid. For Level 2, he becomes Power Megaman, from _Mega Man 6._ He’d lose use of all his weapon powers for the duration, but gain sky-high armor (like Hulk or Zangief) and melee damage. For Level 3, he’d use Double Gear from _Mega Man 11._ All his weapon attacks gain power, and Megaman moves faster. The Double Gear would rapidly drain super meter, and the move would end when it’s gone. I should note that including MvC2 Megaman as an Echo Fighter/Alternate mode would be nice for people who want to play that way.

If Capcom ever did make a new Marvel vs Capcom game, and it’s seeming like it may not be so unlikely now, I’d just kind of want them to add like 50 new characters (it’d actually have to be a bit more given the uneven roster of Infinite) to the bunch they’ve already got made. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 has 50 characters, so it’s not like going such a thing would be some impossibly. Doing something like that, having a roster of like 116 characters would practically be a selling point unto itself. Even more would be cool, but expanding the 62 characters they’ve already got made up into a roster of 116 by adding 54 new characters seems completely doable. I think a cool way to go with Scarlet Witch in a fighting game would be something along the lines of Mariah in Capcom’s JoJo fighting game. Originally, the thing with her Hex powers was probability manipulation. The boring way of doing her in a fighting game would just be to have her blast things like every other beam character in the game. But she could work somewhat like Mariah, and have attacks where power lines are falling from the top of the screen, underground gas mains explode, and the ceiling falls in on you. Scarlet Witch could be a really weird fighting game character. I always found it odd they didn’t seem to know what to do with Loki. At least if he was like MCU Loki, he could just essentially play like Chizuru Kagura from The King of Fighters games. Realistically, at this point if a Marvel vs Capcom 4 did happen, there’s no reason everyone from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Infinite wouldn’t be there. They’ve got finished models that could be reused, and they’ve got finished animations. Despite MvC3 coming out 13 years ago now, those models could easily be reused in a cel shaded MvC4; it wouldn’t be animated the same way (unless they went back in and did extra work on the animations) but visually, even with those old models they could have something that looked just as good as stuff like DBFZ, Xrd, and Stride.
Take out Miles and put in Scarlett spider much better character and isn’t a complete DEI inclusion because that’s what Miles was created for anyway. Plus more iconic

I have no objections to your base Marvel roster, but on the Capcom side I'm dropping Dan, Phoenix Wright, Frank West, and Amaterasu. They will be replaced by Felicia from Darkstalkers, Capt. Commando(both have already been in previous MvC games)Asura from Asura's Wrath, and Sakura from SF and since you used Asura as a newcomer let's replace him with Kimberly from SF6. Also, I'd rather Deathlok than Death head. Let's also add some more DLC. How about Deathbird of the Shi'ar and Tron Bonne with a cross stage of the Shi'ar throne room and TB's family airship. We could also have Lucas Bishop and Hayato(was in MvC2). I don't know about the stage.
MvCI lacks a lot of things that made MvC so iconic for people. First of all you can't have MvC without the Xmen specially Wolverine. Then how are you gonna throw MCU in our face like nothing. The roster is pretty much Avengers 🤦 The characters were boring with all the character with flight combos doing the same thing the gameplay is meh with the meta being random special or super into tag into mix into another special into tag and repeat. Sonic Frontiers was amazing, and many old Sonic games are great too. Besides that, since no one has suggested Sonic Vs Capcom (what would be the point), but rather SEGA Vs Capcom, the doors are open to Yakuza, Virtua Fighter, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, classic beat em ups like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe, as well as characters like AiAi, Ulala, Amigo, etc. who would be very interesting. Realistically, at this point if a Marvel vs Capcom 4 did happen, there’s no reason everyone from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Infinite wouldn’t be there. They’ve got finished models that could be reused, and they’ve got finished animations. Despite MvC3 coming out 13 years ago now, those models could easily be reused in a cel shaded MvC4; it wouldn’t be animated the same way (unless they went back in and did extra work on the animations) but visually, even with those old models they could have something that looked just as good as stuff like DBFZ, Xrd, and Stride.

I have no objections to your base Marvel roster, but on the Capcom side I'm dropping Dan, Phoenix Wright, Frank West, and Amaterasu. They will be replaced by Felicia from Darkstalkers, Capt. Commando(both have already been in previous MvC games)Asura from Asura's Wrath, and Sakura from SF and since you used Asura as a newcomer let's replace him with Kimberly from SF6. Also, I'd rather Deathlok than Death head. Let's also add some more DLC. How about Deathbird of the Shi'ar and Tron Bonne with a cross stage of the Shi'ar throne room and TB's family airship. We could also have Lucas Bishop and Hayato(was in MvC2). I don't know about the stage.

MvCI lacks a lot of things that made MvC so iconic for people. First of all you can't have MvC without the Xmen specially Wolverine. Then how are you gonna throw MCU in our face like nothing. The roster is pretty much Avengers 🤦
The characters were boring with all the character with flight combos doing the same thing the gameplay is meh with the meta being random special or super into tag into mix into another special into tag and repeat.
Interesting characters in my opinion were MH Jedah Sigma Venom Spiderman Strider and Thanos the rest are just boring especially Dante 😮💨 he is so basic in that game same with Zero and those two in UMvC3 are beasts

Sonic Frontiers was amazing, and many old Sonic games are great too. Besides that, since no one has suggested Sonic Vs Capcom (what would be the point), but rather SEGA Vs Capcom, the doors are open to Yakuza, Virtua Fighter, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, classic beat em ups like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe, as well as characters like AiAi, Ulala, Amigo, etc. who would be very interesting. There's LOADS you can do with SEGA Vs Capcom
