What about Testament, also from strive? They are vibing incarnate. - Their story mode is just them taking a walk and wondering why is everyone trying to fight them. - After a fight, they usually offer complimentary tea - On a lost round, they congratulate their opponent or get upset about their makeup getting ruined. - They found a cool hat and rolled with it - Generally playing the role of a therapist whenever they appear in other characters story mode - Their hobbies include: fashion magazines, DIY, collecting makeup, plastic modeling (esp. giant robots), sightseeing, fishing, pottery, river trekking, road biking, appreciating opera, weight training, fortune-telling, bonsai, gardening, watching wrestling, baking, mahjong, painting (not well), embroidery, mountain climbing, nail art, golfing, star-gazing, touring hot springs, board games, writing sci-fi novels, barbecue, belly dance, beach volleyball, watching baseball, making dollhouses, liquor (they're a non-drinker), snowboarding, watching shark B-movies, collecting occult trinkets, scrapbooks. Their entire character arc is finished, plus they are implied to be more-or-less immortal. Their entire character is finding joy in life now.
Damn, Testament is basically living the life of a retired person That's a pretty big vibe tbh Also I love the point about them just wearing a hat just because it looked cool
I had seen the three cat boys in game but I didn't realize they were such an absolute meme! I love the detail that their victory is played off as a over the top story around drinks. This video was a vibe as well, loved hearing you gush about cool and silly shit :)
Those 3 are hilarious, honestly - I mentioned the intro and outro sequences, but I highly recommend you watch them if you are interested (it's a bit of a time sink so maybe grab a snack or something), they always have some kind of joke ready to fire during these! GBVS Rising - All Lowain Interactions (Intro/Outro) ruclips.net/video/ZSL4eISlo08/видео.html Glad you enjoyed!
True - I think she’s kind of like Happy Chaos in the sense that they are both ridiculously strong, but they’d rather limit their strength just so they could enjoy the fight Glad you enjoyed the video!
Mika from Under Night is just a goofy lil guy. She is determined but is laughing and XDing the whole time (and of course is somehow one of the most powerful characters in canon). Also her story mode being drawn like a kindergartner with crayons is hilarious
Duck king from fatal fury and kof would definitely fall Into the viber category, he is just a dancer who joins the tournaments to vibe. I love him! Another one is my blazblue main taokaka. She dosen’t even know what’s going on half the time(or at all XD) she is just they’re for food or she just likes fighting. Absolute empty brain activity.
I have never heard of Duck King before but now that I have, my god that idle animation is amazing, I’m already sold on him - I hope he makes an appearance in the newest KOF Taokaka is definitely a vibe tho - she really just sounds like she’s just there to have fun
Oh shit this popped off thanks for watching, I hope all 1.3k of you (as of writing this) enjoyed my (hopefully coherent) ramblings just want to let you know right now that my schedule is a little inconsistent so it may or may not be a while before the next video so uh yeah 🗿
Guilty Gear Strive is a good place to learn if you’re interested, I’d say it’s pretty beginner friendly, and it’s the first game where I really started to understand fighting games Just stick to the basics and play to learn and you’ll improve from there 👍
Try tekken. Some of the characters are satisfying to use even if you're not doing anything special. I started with Tekken and Lili and that's a beginner character with acrobatic/dance-like moves and I ended up falling in love with the game because just fucking around was fun.
Characters I think could count are Isabelle and incineroar from smash bros. Isabelle doesn’t attack foes so much as she bumbles around and accidentally hits them, she gets startled by her own forward smash and her dash attack is just her face planting and dropping a pot. Incineroar is a wrestler heel who loves to play the bad guy and does a cancelable version of his taunts after successfully hitting the enemy
It's pretty rare seeing characters with accidental movesets but more often than not they are usually pretty chill about it Wreslers and showboating go hand in hand so it's no wonder that Incineroar, who is just there to show off is also a huge vibe
It's hard not to like the trans yoyo nun, honestly Glad you liked it - I've heard a couple of things about Testament just from this comment section alone, and yeah, they are definitely a vibe
I think you just sold me on Granblue. I'll add Lili from Tekken here. That character got me into fighting games proper. It was the default character in Tekken 5 DR and I had something catchy playing on spotify and Lili's acrobatic/dance-like moves gave me an eureka moment and ever since then I've played for the vibes. This video summed up why I play fighting games. Plus Lili thrives on catching the opponent off-guard and is gay for Asuka so she has those Bugs Bunny vibes. Bridget is amazing 10/10 no notes but I'll add Testament and their new wholesome vibes. My Guilty Gear favs are Bridget > Testament > Elphet. Kunimitsu, Lucky Chloe and Ling are also cool in Tekken 7, not really because of the characters, more like the flow of the moves if I'm listening to music, it's so smooth (if you're any good since Ling for example is waaay more advanced than Lili).
Lowain is literally a whole ass mood, I love his goofy little interactions I’m not as experienced in Tekken but from what I’ve seen, Lili definitely seems like she has a free flowing fighting style - it looks very cool! I will take your word on the tekken 7 characters that they have a flow to them too I have been told about Testament and I agree, they are indeed a big vibe, and Elphelt is just hella chill - I’ve just been listening to Extras because it absolutely slaps
I forgot (in two seconds) That's about it But seriously, HC is definitely someone who vibes - a god that walks around barefoot and drives a car despite literally having the ability to teleport, and mainly using guns even though he can use magic. Despite trying to throw the world into (happy) chaos, he's seems like a pretty chill guy
Real - Being on the wrong side of Deejay’s Schmovement can be frustrating sometimes so I definitely understand where you’re coming from Still love the guy for his vibes tho
Bridget is not there to vibe, he just makes himself look that way. Bridget is one of the greatest bounty hunters in the world of GG, both because he's freakishly strong despite his looks and because everyone underestimates him. Or at least that was his lore before he became she. RUclips won't allow me to state my opinion further. Edit: I got to that part in the video, so time to lore dump on why old Bridget fans are salty. Bridget's lore is that Bridget(gonna jump over the pronouns, you do your own choice) was born male, with a twin brother. That's fine, except in his town there was a huge superstition that same-sex twins would bring ruin, and thus they were killed at birth. Bridget's parents, fearing this, made Bridget dress as a girl during all of Bridget's childhood. As Bridget grows into an adult, Bridget decided to recover that masculinity that the parents and the town took from Bridget, by becoming the toughest, meanest, most badass bounty hunter and send all of the bounties back to the hometown so Bridget would earn all of the respect, and prepare for revealing to the whole town that Bridget was one of those "evil same-sex twins" they were too afraid to allow to live. Of course, Bridget never learnt how to "be a man" and would initially either ask for guys to teach Bridget or go " I beat you, so I'm macho now! Yay!!" but slowly evolved into "screw it, I can be a man and wear dresses! I can be cute and cuddly while kicking ass and getting girls!". You all can see how Bridget being a woman now not only ignores the backstory, but sets up some disturbing implications of bad words that yt doesn't like (one that starts with a capital "g" and follows with an "r"). Lucky you that you didn't get called on trans culture appropiation by dressing as Bridget while being male presenting, since that's the kind of new fans Bridget has now. And before anyone comments, nothing wrong with being trans (Judgement is nonbinary because it is a nonhuman entity that constantly changes its body and appearance, and it's fine) but this one case is, when you look closer, offensive and even transphobic. Apart from that, great video, I too love groovy dudes and dudettes in fighting games.
That's the thing though, Bridget being a woman doesn't ignore the backstory like you just explained. Bridget learned how to "be a man" and do so. In strive's story we can see that she's not exactly happy "being a man". Her goal in +R reached it's conclusion and she wasn't happy with that result like she thought she would. So in strive she instead decides to revert back to being a woman because she enjoys presenting herself AS a woman. It's perfectly natural progression. She wanted to be a man so she started to learn how to be a man. She learned how to and didn't enjoy it. She's been to both sides and just likes showing herself as a Woman instead of a Man. Although a main issue I do have is that we kind of ignored her current situation with her town and where her brother might have gone. I wish we knew what's happening in her storyline on top of her learning to accept herself.
@@NrettGand another problem in his ending is that by making himself a woman he kind of proves that the town ( the villains) is right with theyre superstitions
Alternative title, BillyBobberson makes a 28 minute video to talk about Bridget
Nuh uh it's only 6 minutes
I do like me some brisket
She do be vibin
The best part is that bridget is a bounty hunter, and a pretty good one too she kills people for a living
She does serve bloodshed with her beatings after all
