- Howdy everyone and welcome to my biggest ranking video legit ever. Today we are ranking/reviewing EVERY Capcom Fighting game from worst to best. Yes we are looking at 52 games. I am looking at 1 version of each game and looking at every fighting game developed/published by capcom and released in North America. Let me know what you think down below! MVC 2
SF Alpha 2&3
Capcom vs SNK
SF3 Third Strike (that soundtrack is just *chefs kiss* )
Add RIVAL SCHOOLS AND WE'RE THE SAME. Everything after 3rd strike are so OVERDONE. Looks like people on DRUGS did these new games. Like high off PCP

Really loved the video, a shame that these kind of video probably didn't do too well statistically because many people don't have the attention span to finish the video (and this video really made me realize that the overall quality of capcom FGs even the shitty ones are pretty awesome) good to know there are still content creators that can put up a good video presentation while being actually fully knowledgable about the games (many of other ones I've seen are usually either good video footage but is like a videogame journalist video where they only talk about the most no shit descriptions of the game or the person speaking is knowledgable but the video is just a tiermaker drag and drop).

SFV has 45 characters, SF4 has 44 characters, so the comment about how SF4 is good for having many characters is applied to SFV. I haven't seen the launch of SFV and I don't care, but the game at the current state is great. Of course it's shadowed by SF6 though.

It launched with 15 charchters. The game in its final state is absolutely fantastic, but ot took a loooong time to get there.

Hamtaro ! I recently got back into fighting games since their shutting down Xbox 360 marketplace and I just copped SF third strike before that games becomes a switch exclusive.
Having to emulate mvc2 is cool and all but it would be nice to have it on modern platforms 😢

Anyway my top 5 capcom fighting games are: project justice, rival schools, tatsunoko vs capcom, fate/unlimited code & capcom vs snk 2.

In my opinion though, taking everything in consideration, the final iteration of SFV is better than the final iteration of SF4. I could understand the souring that you experienced at launch-I felt the same, too-but it's a Street Fighter game and there was no way I wouldn't pick it up again after several months of not touching it.

The Heavy Metal fighting game is based on a long running comics and story magazine that focused on horror, sci-fi, and semi erotic stories. Definitely worth checking out for some great stories.
I kinda disagree with MVC:I being so low. Outside of the stones the game has amazing fighting mechanics and it has the best tag system of all fighting games. I think its great gameplay but faulters in so many other ways.
Deserves more views!
You should also maybe consider ranking the Soul Caliber games since you mentioned them quite abit

jeez and to think I played practically 99% of those games during my life, and most of them weren't on a day I was searching for obscure games or trying to complete my bucket list of fighting games; I was just there when they came out.

I have played a lot of SNK fighting games but SNK has a lot more fighting games than capcom its crazy. Either way I appreciate the sub!

Slam Masters is definitely the best wrestling game of that generation and time, I know its never going to happen but I'd love for capcom to make a new wrestling game
I tried it for the first time last week on Arcade Stadium, it's great! Actually happened to also come across a cabinet of Wrestlefest last weekend, so nostalgic, but actually doesn't compare in the slightest...
BENGUS should do the character art FOR EVERY GAME- full stop.
Definitely don’t agree that SNK games are stiffer than Capcom games. Using four buttons is more intuitive than six. I think the sprites for SNK CHOAS is better than Capcom sprites. SNK’s sprite work almost always was better than Capcom’s.
Guile isn't in Alpha (he wasn't in those games until the home version of 3). Great vid though, I love MvC 2 and 3 a lot as well.

The arcade version of Street Fighter II The Movie is significantly better than the console version, and is dumb-fun with two players.

Hey Bud, great vid but SNK and NEO-GEO had quite a few fighting games too. Capcom was not the only big fighting game producer... And was that a humble brag, "Insomniac Games"...? LMAO And Street Fighter: The Movie was nothing more than a Street Fighter II reskin. And the Arcade version is very different. Many others have said it plays very fast compared to many street features. I think sometimes the internet makes judgements and then everyone echoes it.
My fave is Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior, vanilla SF2. I don’t know what it is but I just love this game.
Hamtaro. Love to see MvC2 placed so high because I know people are critical about the balance in that game. It never took it anything away to me.

You don't really need a re-release for a lot of these games since Fightcade exists. That's where you'll meet probably most of their online community.
This video is great! but It don't have what I want. I looking for fighting game that have mini zaku and mini shocker from masked rider. But not all character have mini version some of them have like zaku and shocker. The character it this game is mix some capcom some namco I don't know it so many. Last time I played is 12-13 year, That all what I can remamber even a name of this game. If you have some clue anything relate to it Please tell me. Thank you!

World Warrior definitely isn't the same game as Super Turbo, it runs on different hardware, the graphics are different, The moves are different and there's a super meter and supers

The heavy metal game is a guilty pleasure of mine
First person I've seen that doesn't care for red earth that much. Definitely just don't understand the mechanics which is completely fair, it took me a solid minute to figure it out. No judgement, its definitely not for everyone.
I will say that SFV did do justice to Sakura.

As a Marvel vs Capcom Infinte apologists I gotta say the idea that of recommending Megaman Power Battles over it feels wrong. Megaman Power Battles doesn't feel better or play better or have more options and modes than MVCI, and if you're looking for something to scratch the fighting game itch It's much more of a Megaman Boss Rush than a fighter.
I know of course expectations and disappointments play a part in this. You expect nothing out of a Megaman fighitng game and it trunsou t to be alright. You expect a lot out of The Marvel Series returning after 10 years and you wind up....disappointed. I get that that's part of the score. I can;t say I wasn't disappointed. But I t's still overall a fighting game that can be played.
I will say in Power Battles' favor those backgrounds are fucking gorgeous, goddamn. Some of the best background art stuff in all of Capcom history. I don't ever think about playing those games again but those backgrounds are always in my mind.

You have Cvs2 not higher cause of a button configuration thats not ranking it worse to best thats the most feature rich game on here when UMvC3 only has an arcade mode this is more based on how much you like the game thats different
