Thanks sugar. You and your expert technician are life savers ❤❤❤ I just want to add that my reboot didn't work until I removed the filter and counted to 15 before successfully restarting. You get a subscription for that advice. 😊
Could it be aN old thermostat? Mine is a 27 yr old Honeywell plain round one .. I was wondering if there was a relay problem from the thermostat to the ignition?
Thanks much!! Your Tip helped me .. Noticed only cold air coming from furnace this morning when tuned on.. Kind of worried as it is a cold winter day.. After checking this post , turned off furnace in basement for a minute using the switch next to furnace. It worked , getting hot air again..
Thanks So much.....I have gone through other videos and couldnt figure out. Cold air was blowingf out of the furnace for past 2 days when temps were in single digits. After checking this post i switched the furnace main switch from the main switch box and then switched it on. And then 5 mins later switched on the the thrmostat. Finally warm air
Just my luck, this unit has no power switch. I look for the plug to unplug it. And the plug outlet is behind the furnace. Furnace won't move and can't reach around and no space to crawl in the back of furnace. Thanks for your video! Very helpful!
Our furnace (it is in the attic) is blowing hot air occasionally, then might stop, then after a day or two starts to work again. Then it try to start (for 3-4 sec), go off, starts, go off, like not enough power or smth. What that can be? And please could you tell if bi-metal high limit switches are the same or different for Home HVAC systems? If they are different how to find which one you need? Thank you.
I have a Rheem Criterion that started blowing cold air. I noticed the igniter stopped working and no gas coming out when blower kicked on. The air filter (kitchen ceiling intake) was dirty so I replaced. Also replaced igniter, limit switch, and pressure switch. I cleaned the flame sensor and checked condensate pan…no water. Also troubleshot the circuit board, appears good. What am I missing?
if your reset it 3 times and it still will not hold for long and , everything on auto and thermostat in the house blinking , I noticed my thermostat on boiler was below 25 the others peoples boilers were like 30 degrees . The HVAC guy changed some parts looks like the ignitor and switch but a few weeks lator the boiler doing the exact same thing shutting down heat and hot water and I have to reset it a few times. Last year it did the same so a guy came then. So twice in 2 years a HVAC guy came and its still not fixed right, so now what? Mother board? or just new boiler lol

Did you Remove the filter & *then* start the furnace & *then* put the filter (or a new one) back in once it started? or...?

Turn the Thermostat down colder than the house before turning off and on the power. Then turn the thermostat back up for a call for heat.
That just worked, thanks!
Worked for me too! Thanks
Thanks!! Worked for me, and none of the videos I watched mentioned this!

What if it's an oil furnace not gas. With a Bock water heater next to it. Blowing cool air on the first snow storm of the season😞
Thank you 💡💡😎😎
