    Roundabout
    I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out and out
I spend the day your way
Call it morning driving through the sound in and out the valley
    The music dance and sing
They make the children really ring
I spend the day your way
Call it morning driving through the sound in and out the valley
    In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
One mile over we'll be there and we'll see you
Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too
Twenty four before my love you'll see I'll be there with you
    I will remember you
Your silhouette will charge the view
    Of distance atmosphere
Call it morning driving through the sound even in the valley
    In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
One mile over we'll be there and we'll see you
Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too
Twenty four before my love you'll see I'll be there with you
Along the drifting cloud the eagle searching down on the land
Catching the swirling wind the sailor sees the rim of the land
The eagle's dancing wings create as weather spins out of hand
Go closer hold the land feel partly no more than grains of sand
We stand to lose all time a thousand answers by in our hand
Next to your deeper fears we stand surrounded by a million years
    I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out and out
    I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out and out
    In and around the lake

With tears in my old eyes, at my 65 right now, i was 16 when they were playing in this tour, and me, born and rised in Chile, southamerica was following Yes music through the only FM radio that played that genre. As teen we had a band, amateurs all of us, but we played with our hearts the music we loved. My tribute to the whole band and for my fav bassist Chris Squire. I am bass player and ive learned a lot seeing videos like this.

I saw Yes in 1971, and they were amazing! I still remember Chris Squire breaking a bass string (!) in the middle of a song. Amazing thing: the whole band stopped playing instantly, Steve Howe picked up his acoustic guitar and started playing Mood For A Day, a song they almost never played live! No more than 3 or 4 seconds form broken string to---a classic classical piece! Fast forward to present day. My son, just turned 20 and he was watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I heard Roundabout playing! I had to find out what that was. So what next? I end up getting hooked on JoJo, have seen all the videos with the entire JoJo story arc (I know the manga goes further), and I really like it. And my son bought the Yes album (that's right, vinyl) Fragile. He's now a big Yes fan, and digs lots of prog rock from that time period! Win-win!!

blica 1 that level of musicianship is still around, you just have to go to technical death metal shows to witness it, hehe. seriously though, 80's hair metal and glam rock bands turned all the nerdy shredders into the shadows where they continue to lurk, creating things like "The Animation Of Entomology" by Blotted Science.. :D That album is a direct descendent of 70's prog.

Mayer410 same here. the rock n' roll hall of fame is a fucking sham. they induct green day and bands like deep purple, yes, the moody blues, king crimson, joy division/new order, the cure, big star, and countless others aren't in there. it's fucking bullshit. to hell w/ that organization. right now, chris squire is probably forming some supergroup with richard wright of pink floyd and some other great musicians.

      @Samhain410 9 лет назад +12

thevoid99 It's good to know that not everybody on RUclips is a complete idiot. I mean every band you mentioned deserves to be inducted way more than almost any band that has been inducted in the past decade, especially King Crimson. Don't get me wrong, they usually induct at least one artist worthy of it every year, but they induct so many that aren't really even rock bands and leave out some of the best rock bands in existence. Oh well, at least Chris is up there in the sky playing in that awesome supergroup like you said.

Whoever said that youth is wasted on the young has obviously never seen Yes in action. These young guys were really powerhouses of talent and this well before the days of social media and mass marketing. Simply outstanding musicianship that is not to be repeated.

I'd rather say old. Most of them are just bunch of old pop/rock bands. There's no reference of modern musicians.
But he knows a lot of old musicians.
