picked up the steel P dpo w/ threaded barrel 3 mo. ago. mounted a delta pro on her and have around 600 rounds through it. i’m by no means a shooter who hits the range a ton, maybe a thousand rounds a year. this pistol has me going so much more due to how enjoyable it is to shoot. that alone makes the price tag worth it. it’s funny, i had literally just finished a expensive p320 build that i figured would be my prize gun until i stumbled across staccatos😂 the sig is collecting dust! great vid and hope to take some classes in the future to move my game along.

Great video! Going to get my C2 this weekend! Can’t wait. Struggled to decide between the c2 and P but want to conceal carry so C2 is looking the best.
Love it! Great stress test and great content. I currently have a C and C2 (edc), but deciding should I get a XC or P limited for home defense/winter carry.
I have the XL threaded with a suppressor. My favorite home defense gun. Personally like the XL over the XC because of the price and heft. XC is flatter and faster, but I get to suppress the XL
Hey brother come try Run and Gun with the crew! It’s a two gun comp so bring the AR/pistol, all the mags/water/snacks you need and shoot 7 courses of fire as you run a 10k through terrain that will get your heart rate up. You must carry everything you need and of course you are trying to shoot and run as fast as you can to beat your friends or get on the podium. Look up Old Eighteen Defense. All shoot are in Texas at this time but worth it if you want a true test of skills.
I would like to see you do the same drill with say a, Glock 19 and then we might know the difference between the hyper expensive and the common handgun.
The difference will be unmistakably clear. I have a fine tuned Glock 19X that I rarely shoot due to such a difference. Still love the gun because its all swagged out but it just can’t compete. And that is not to say that some shooters are so skilled that they make it look like they perform the same…but that is simply not the case with most. But to your point, a visual comparison would drive that point home. Thanks for tuning in! Hope you subbed to the channel!
Quick question but you seem to be using the same setup I have (XC with JW BROS around the SRO). What holster are you using? Great videos, brother, love the work you put into filming, your subtle humor, attitude, shooting, everything is top notch.
Thank you. I'm running a QVO Tactical Kydex holster. I had to take my BROS off because I was running a match and it seared the screws mounting my optic.
@@GunsOutTV thank you for the info, brother, I will shoot them an email to confirm that holster works with the BROS and order from them. As far as shearing screws off, that really sucks. Did you order the extended length screws that JW sells as optional with their BROS? I think they are supposed to take care of that, given that the BROS will inevitably shorten the amount of threads able to mate with the threaded hole.
I have a Staccato P, I like the new sandpaper grip texture and overall it is a very good gun. My complaints are it is not as reliable as most modern striker fired guns, for one thing it hates flat nose 9mm ammo. Easy fix, don't use it but every $600 Glock, Smith, and HK VP9 can. Second for the size it blows my mind the extended magazines only hold 20 rounds when you compare that to much more compact striker guns regularly running 19 and 20 round extended magazines. Accuracy is very good, it's easy to shoot fist sized groups at 25 yards with a dot but a VP9 will do about that as well. The Staccato kind of does everything maybe 10% better than other modern guns but just at four times the cost if we are all being honest.
Doug that was a very detailed perspective. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes people just trust the brands they trust and I honestly can’t say that I shoot any other guns more than my staccatos. And to your point about the flat nosed rounds, my XC shoots them just fine. Never tried them in my C2. As for your mag capacity statement, in my personal opinion there is never a mag that holds enough rounds for me on almost any gun. So I can’t say much about that. Thanks for watching!
@@GunsOutTV yeah don't get me wrong I LOVE shooting the Staccato and it goes to the range with me a lot! I'm just not sure it would ever be my go-to gun or my duty gun (if I was a LEO) choice. But hey I'm just a guy on the internet and we know what opinions are like 😆
Simple really, if you prefer a Glock, stick with a Glock. If you prefer your HK stick with your HK. I can put 1k through my Staccato without cleaning it and it runs everything I put through it including 9mm flat and 147gr flat. I don't believe I've ever run it more than 1k without cleaning it, but I know I've runt to that mark. You need a mag that holds more than 20 rounds? While I have some 32s for my Glock, I really only run those in AR-9s where that capacity makes sense. I personally have no issue with 17 round mags for my Staccato or even the 16's for the C2. HK has some of the worst customer service in the business from my perspective when it comes to non-government contracts and roles. My .40 USP was the least reliable gun I ever owned. Never did figure out the issue with it and sold it to someone that didn't care. Haven't touched an HK since, because they literally didn't care about my issues. I can run the Staccato faster and more accurately than any pistol I own. I choose to carry the C2 over my Wilson EDC, because for me it just shoots better. Do I still love the Wilson, sure. Do I still own Glocks, Sigs, and a ton of other pistols? Yes. But what I shoot more than anything else, is my Staccatos. The P is a beast. My C2 is great as well. It's like anything else, lovers and haters of whatever. Shoot what works for you.
Absolutely. In a self defense scenario your heart rate will be higher and your twitch reflexes will be tuned up. Also depending on if there is a struggle or you have to retreat first, your cardio will play a big part in your marksmanship.
Just seen a torture test between a Taurus G3c, and very nice 2300 dollar staccato and the G3c beat it by alot. The stac didnt even get through the sand and the guy was much nicer to the stac than the Taurus.
Would like to see the Sam's test but with a Staccato P not the XC because that's a cheat code gun and also do the test with other guns to compare results and put their claim to the test.

I'm filing a lawsuit towards Staccato because when I purchased and shot their pistols, it forced me to neglect all my other handguns.
