Halo's music has always been better than it deserves. I've spent way more time than I'm willing to admit just in the main menu of Halo Infinite listening to this gorgeous rendition of the iconic main theme. Then I wondered if and how I could transfer this ethereal choir performance to the piano. It's a very different quality but I'm pretty happy with the result. In a flash of madness I then decided to spice it up further with a brief mash-up of @malufenix 's Frozen Sleep. It transitions so naturally also Malu 💖

Your renditions of Halo music are amazing! I would love to hear your version of one of the best Halo themes, "Spirit of Fire" from Halo Wars. Such a cool song and I think you could have a lot of fun with it.
I would always stay on the start menu just to listen to that!

If nothing else, Halo Infinite delivered an absolutely amazing soundtrack. Beautiful rendition!
This is better that what's in the game. Because it's played on a piano, which is more beautiful and actually more like the soundtrack style of older Halos (2 and 3) with Halo's classic piano feel.

Reach was military brass
Infinite is a mix of CE and 3
If you're going to criticize something about it not being like what came before, at least know what you're talking about

We all may not be very proud of what Halo Infinite has been, and many of us struggle to play one match without dreading it. If halo as a franchise ever officially dies, I want the soundtrack to be remembered, as if it was an artifact to an amazing era of gaming.
It's certainly better now than what it was when it first started out. Still lacking in Campaign for obvious reasons, but replayability has significantly improved along with multiplayer
It sounds like a mix of many Halo themes. Part of it sounds like "Keep What You Steel", "Spirit of Fire", and other themes from the OG games
I agree, I got some heavy Reach vibes from the kind of darker tones, followed by 3 in the more upbeat notes. Its lovely when it can really bring together a bunch of them into one piece.
This definitely hits a different level of emotion for me. Thanks for making a beautiful interpretation.
The campaign was amazing in infinite I'm ready for the next journey.
There are only a handful of soundtracks that can evole very powerful emotions in me. Halo remains at the top of that list

All Halo soundtracks are great. 4 and 5 were more like movie soundtracks and were great to listen to. I think ODST and Reach's soundtracks were also a bit like this, but are more emotionally evocative than 4 and 5. Probably the most emotionally evocative out of all the Halos.
However, what makes the original trilogy's soundtracks so good for a game is the tracks were short, iterative and simple (not using orchestras). This means they are very easy to use in game, as the song can be played for a long time depending on how long a specific section of the map takes the player to complete. This is why the original trilogy's campaign had music playing in the background almost entirely, where as the other Halos, not so much.

When I rank the soundtracks I rank as which I think works better in-game, so back ground music in a firefight and menu music and everywhere music can be used in a game. I don't really mean one soundtrack has worse music than another.

Infinite certainly has a great theme, much prefer old halo/Halo wars. old games were made fully at release because they didn't really update games once they were out, maybe couple bug fixes. I wish we could go back to the old days of OG Halo, CoD, etc
