Three months apart now, after 16 years and 4 children he left and made me the problem after all the gaslighting and manipulation. Was told by his family I need help from a doctor when he was clearly one with the alcohol issues, staying out all night just total disrespect basically and all this while I had just lost my mom had a newborn baby! Never felt so alone in the world and am starting to see what I lived through was abuse. Thanks for your support as it’s invaluable to people like me 😢

Whatever you do don’t go bk it gets worse. I did 3 times & it always got worse. The love bombing every time was euphoric, but it always went back to the same thing always! He was also an alcoholic and a user. It will always be your fault no matter what you need to make peace with his fam thinking you’re crazy. It takes time but eventually you will. It’s a muscle you must exercise join a small group at church. That was the only way I got through it with Gods help. I would have not been able to do it otherwise. You will be more aware as time goes by and will have Epiphany after epiphany of Howell badly him and he manipulated you. Your family and your true friends will be with you along the way as well as your beautiful children. Praying God restores you and uplift you and your kiddos. Drown yourself in narcissistic abuse Content. RUclips videos such as hers helped me so much to understand that I was indeed not crazy. Tick-tock is also really good and helpful❤ I am almost 3 years out and I think God every day for getting me out!

@@1989arlett iv literally been back more times than I can remember and yes it’s always gotten worse. He was violent too under the influence of drink but never remembered anything the next day I never had a sincere apology! I lost my brother to an overdose two years after I lost my mom at 8 months pregnant and the last few years have been a living hell with him. No support at all if anything has been worse than ever and I don’t know where he’s been now for months slowly stopped being interested in the children I’m assuming he’s found a new supply. It’s such a hard pill to swallow to think I gave him the best years of my life and 4 beautiful children and he couldn’t care less has walked away as if i was nothing! Keeping myself busy and thinking about what I want out of my life now and slowly rebuilding. Counting my blessings and taking each day at a time xx

It's almost the worst thing of many bad things, they abuse you then tell others it was you! It feels terrible to be alone because they take everything. The only thing they can't take anymore, is you. Best wishes and love.

Oof... perfect timing. Just decided I have to end my 24 yr marriage. Realized he was definitely a covert narc about 5 yrs ago. He has ONLY gotten worse. The good news... I've just started on my healing journey. I will get better! Thank YOU, Stephanie! Unfortunately, the covert narc I married is in complete denial and will continue to only get worse. I fear that the stronger I become, his narcissism grows more malignant, so I appreciate having your videos to help me to understand what I'm up against here! (fyi he is not violent, and I'm not in any danger. The abuse has been over 24 hrs and is 100% psychological in nature)

Invalidation comes in the form of disregard and dismissing and being scoffed at for being emotional. The humiliation was being mocked… This is one of the best videos I have found that validates what I went through. ThQ Stephanie.

So, about two years ago, your channel helped me find love for myself after ending a narcissistic relationship. A year after being single and healing completely, I met the man of my dreams. I was ready for him! We celebrated one year on March 8 2024. About Two weeks ago I found out he was cheating on me with his ex wife. How is this even possible? I promise I did everything the best way possible. 😢

You are so right about none of us are taught what a healthy relationship is. You have a wonderful, sincere way filled with very helpful information. Have you ever though of going to speak at local schools to educate the younger generation as what to look for in a guy or girl before they even begin to start dating?
If I lived near you, I would support & applaud you to help the next generation!!👏👏👏
Being good in sports or academically is NOT a barometer for a healthy individual, as you well know!

I am so confused. I think we both contributed to this. She said I was the narcissist, but I don't know. I've made mistakes without a doubt. She never apologized or took responsibility, guilt-tripped me, and blamed me for everything. She told me I was never there for her emotionally and that she was only emotionally dependent on me, that it was never love between us. She started dating a new guy only 2-3 weeks after our breakup (we were together for 7 years). She said it would make it "easier" for me to let her go. She doesn't have time to grieve and just wants to be happy and feel loved again, hopefully finally marry and have children (she is not even that old, 27). I knew she was angry at me. But she didn't stop until, in the end, she left me confused, depressed, and without confidence and self-worth.

My father took great pleasure in emotionally abusing me, but was always extra-nice to his daughter (my sister). Hence, she refused to admit that this was going on. My mother is equally useless on this front. On some level, they were ok with me being abused since at least it was not them on the receiving end. My father has passed away now, and frankly, I am glad he is gone.

Once I woke up , and I saw what she was about
    I ran and never looked
back input my self on child support
to guarantee I'm in my kids life
Then she used the kids to hurt me
So I walked away from them
    For my sanity
I miss my children but moms venom
    Spilled in
I have a new life full of love
    Full of respect
God gave me another son who I'm crazy about and I'm so happy to have a second chance
life is short ! Enjoy it !

Do you think it’s controlling when somebody tells you that you spent too much time with your adult children and mother when they’re not even around or with you I don’t even know how to handle that back to me seems very controlling. What does it matter what I do when I’m away from my partner, and if I want to spend it with my children and my mother, or do whatever I feel like doing?!?!?!
Had to step away from that situation and I’m doing no contact because I think that it’s just not right for somebody to say that to me especially when everything was going so great start to future future don’t you think?
