In the vampire chronicles books Louis is basically the most human of the vampire's that's why both armond and lestat are so attracted to him and you are right about Louis not working on his relationships

Hi again! First of all, I loved this episode. The part that really got me was when Lestat came through. The way he was talking, his tone, and words made me melt. I really hated Armand for not relaying everything that Lestat was saying. Armand knows that he could never be Lestat, and he's still upset about how Lestat basically loved him, and left him within a week. I think that at this point, Claudia's days (or rather nights) are numbered. Armand probably had everything to do with her death, and the death of the coven. However, I don't think they're all dead because Armand is worried about Paris. They might be coming for them in Dubai. Assad Zaman's accent with the Arabic words is perfect. I should know, lol. I was very impressed by how he said the word "Khalifa".
You asked everyone to tell you what makes them fascinating. Well, I'm a journalist like Daniel, and I write for a paper in New York. Currently, I'm working on a project called "Tales of Ordinary Lives". I interview people that I find interesting like Daniel does, except, I wouldn't just go to someone's apartment like Daniel did with Louis. Thank you so much for this great recap/review. I can't wait for Lestat to come back in person, not just as a Dreamstat. I wonder, does Lestat forgive Louis for trying to kill him? What do you think??

      Hey, friend! Thanks 😊.
I saw some clip, and it made it sound like Louis was on board with Claludia's demise 😳. 🤞🏾 Claudia makes it to season 3! You already know I'm #TeamLestat, so the only thing that bugged me was that they didn't give a split screen or something like that so I could see him. Seeing Lestat may have given too much away, though 🤷🏾‍♀️.
Yes! I have underrated Assad, but he's Amazing! I tried to pronounce the words like he did, but 🤦🏾‍♀️. Malik is what messed me up! I wanted to say muh leek so bad 😆!
I think Louis blames Claudia, and that's what makes Lestat more willing to forgive him. Antionette already told Lestat it was Claudia's idea and everything. So yeah, I think Claudia is, unfortunately, the scapegoat. What's your take on whether Lestat forgives Louis or tries to take him out?
I'm looking forward to 2 main parts: present-day Louis getting the missing pages of Claudia's diary and watching Lestat walk onto that stage!!!!!
Oh, Wow! You're a bright young reporter with a point of view, too! That is so cool! It has to be great to talk to a variety of people. Does the rise of social media make it easier or harder to find authentic people?

@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews I agree with you. I wish that they had allowed us to see 1970's Lestat during that telepathic call that Armand did for Louis. I think they want his appearance to be a kind of a surprise, but I think he will be making a grand entrance in Paris during the real trial that's supposed to take place. I don't know if Claudia makes it or not, I just hope they don't make the trial the cliffhanger til the next season. That would really upset me. The seasons aren't long enough, imo. I just want to live in that "Immortal Universe" that they've created for this series. I hear that they will have a show completely about the Talamasca. I hope it's as good as IWTV. I didn't really care for the Mayfair Witches. It had potential, though.
You did fine with how you pronounced the Arabic words. The name "Malik" is usually pronounced as "Mah-lik", and it has an interesting meaning. Actually, the word itself can mean "angel", "king", or "owner". That is to say, you could be the "malik" of a car, or a dog. It is ownership over something. It seemed to me that the only owner in that situation, was Armand because once Malik showed up, he belonged to Armand. You gotta wonder who would answer an ad to be hunted? I certainly wouldn't! I doubt anyone has ever made it to that mosque before Armand got there. That young man's swagger, and his attitude! When you're young, you think you'll live forever.
Being a "bright, young reporter with a point of view" is hard, lol. Social media made it easy to find people I want to interview, but I also find alot of people you wouldn't want to run into in a dark alley. My mother often worries about what I do, and I can't blame her. I've met some amazing people like a 16 year old girl who welds, and makes sculptures from scrap metal that people donate to her. I met a 92 year old woman who goes to the YMCA everyday to swim, and whose father was a baby on the Orphan Train in the 1910's. Her memory was sharp, and she still lives in her own home, alone. I met a woman who was horrifically abused throughout her life, and she now helps others who come from lives of abuse and degradation. On the flip side, I met a chainsaw artist who became obsessed with me. That one was not fun, it was just scary, and disturbing. I still have nightmares about him. Sometimes, the threats come from the readers. You always have people like that to contend with. I was threatened by some guy because he didn't like that I wrote a story about an Islamic holiday. I mean, that's a part of me, and I was called the "sand" N word for it, and told that people like me should be dead, or on Guantanamo.
So, social media has been a blessing, and sometimes, it's a curse. I have so many stories to tell you! I'd say that about 85 to 90% of the time, the people that I contact or they contact me, are not authentic. You have to look for the remaining small percentage that are, and that doesn't mean that it will be a good experience. Sometimes, I thought I'd never come back alive because of some of the scary things that happened. I never use people's real names unless they tell me that I can.
Someone told me about a coven like the Paris coven. I don't know if they are real vampires (or if there's even such a thing), but I'm not getting involved in that. Who knows what is really happening with this coven, and what they're capable of ??!! I don't want to find out! The person that told me about them thought that I'd be excited because he knows how much I love IWTV. I wasn't excited, it scared me because if they are real, that's bad news, and if they are not, that's still bad news because I don't know what they'd do to someone like me. Either way, it doesn't look good. Would you want to meet this coven? I don't think you would. I've done some paranormal stories like when I went on an investigation with a group of professional ghost hunters, but that's not the same as finding a bunch of vamps (real or imagined). What do you think? Could you do a job like mine?

OMG, I want her to live to next season, but if she does, I want her to be happy until it goes down next season, not waiting for her fate! I would totally be upset with that, too! Someone else mentioned the Mayfair Witches, but I haven't had time to watch it yet. I'll watch The Talamasca, depending on who's in it! That better not delay IWTV season 3, though!!!!
As many times as I redid it, I'm glad I got Malik's name somewhat correct 😆. It's kind of messed up what Armand is doing. He knows no one can outrun him unless he's giving them a considerable headstart. He's playing with his food just like Lestat. Lestat was willing to try and only eat bad guys. Louis is the one who backed out. LOL, but that's off-topic; Malik did seem like a jerk, but I still hope they told him what would happen if he lost the race. I couldn't really tell if he was warned or not.
Those are amazing stories, but it is incomprehensible how some people responded to you like that! Like, dude, just don't read the article! I hate that you had to deal with those issues, and I hope they never happen again! That's why I'm afraid to be on camera in my videos! My mental health can't take it.
When I asked if it was harder, I imagined the folks who just wanted to have their name in an article so they would make stuff up. I didn't imagine it could get that extreme!
I could not do a job like yours, without a doubt! For one, I hate writing 😆. I went to an online college, and there were so many essays and discussion posts I had to write! I didn't think I would finish school! And two, I have bad social anxiety and am extremely shy. My interviewees would be like get this awkward girl out of my face 😂! And I definitely wouldn't want anything to do with interviewing possibly real vampires! That's why I was shocked by "real Rashid."

@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews I think you'd do great at my job. You're very well spoken, and I really love your videos. The name you chose for the channel is right on point because it really is like chatting with an old friend. I think you could get many people to open up, and be honest in their interviews. That's what makes a good journalist. You're personable, and intelligent. I get why you don't want to be on camera, there are so many weirdos out there. You know, there was another writer that went after vampires in 1996. She was a writer for the Village Voice, and she was never heard from again. They're still looking for her, and her story was on Unsolved Mysteries. I think that "Real Rashid" has no clue as to what he is dealing with. Whether they're real or fake vampires, they are ultimately predators.
Believe it or not, I also have social anxiety, and I'm also extremely shy, too. I just try to have a hard exterior when I meet people, that way, my anxiety doesn't show. A reporter has to be in control of their questions, environment, and the subject, to a degree. I understand your dislike for writing. It's not for everyone. A single article takes about 9 or 10 hours, and I'm talking about just the revision, the checking of facts, etc. The interviews can take several hours, too. Again, depends on the subject.
I agree with you about Claudia. I hope that she's happy til whatever happens to her. I don't understand why she likes Santiago so much. I knew that he had his own agenda from the start, and you know he's very bitter about what happened to his maker. Armand is just as bad as Lestat was, if not worse. With Lestat, you kind of knew what you were getting, whereas with Armand, he just pretends to be compassionate, and loving. He's nothing more than a controlling, toxic boyfriend who is really just vicious, and vindictive.

      ☺️ Thank you!
OMG, I had to look up Susan Walsh! That is very scary! I hope she is okay. Maybe she is in protective custody or something 🤷🏾‍♀️🙏🏾.
That tough exterior is a much needed shield for me, too.
Yes, the topic is super important. I have no issue writing these replies to comments, but if this was school work! Forget about it 😆!
I think Claudia likes Santiago because everyone else likes him, and he was the first to really 🤔 I don't want to say befriend her because he didn't, but that's the only word coming to mind. He extended a little bit of an olive branch to her and told her to speak up when everyone else paid her dust. I think that was just a tactic!
      Read Armand for filth! 🤣🤣

Claudia said he was dead weight. I think she loved him but we he didn't burn Lestat she somewhat grew a annoyance with him. Louie is depressing to be around and complain all the time. If i was Armand, I would be like Lestat come get your wife. I can't... This episode was great... Did you catch when Armand snatched that wrist back 😂.

True. Claudia was already salty with him for reading her diary and not getting a companion. She had to nurse him back to health. Then, he played in her face like that 😒.

1973? That was a year after the rest of the Apollo missions were cancelled by Nixon IIRC, and around when the economy shifted from the gold standard to the petrodollar and on inflation graphs that's about when it began to steadily climb before greatly outpacing wages more noticeably. Still a time of relative prosperity, but right when it started to fall apart. I was born in 1985 though, so IDK anything by experience but just searching what info so far can be found for now.
Wasn't the title for the movie "Interview With The Vampire" a Mandela Effect? I think for a while it had switched from "the" to "a" and now I guess it's back to "the" again. Some other movie ones that I recall differently are the "live is like a box of chocolates" which now is "was" (even though on the VHS tape sleeves it still says "is") and of course the "Luke, I am your father" rather than "no" without the name Luke. There's also Arnold's pronunciation of "back" sounding more like "Bach" but that's a slight bit more iffy I suppose.
