Sea Snake is excellent for a 3” blade..Sharp out of box,Pocket friendly, versatile and blade is only a hair thinner than my current EDC so not a issue…Been looking for a pocket carry 3” fixed blade for a long time in my price range
Great video. Now I want 1 of those. It looks a little like TwoSuns TS116 but that is a folder. Looks like a good EDC fixed blade. Where can I get the utility clip you talked about?
Seems like this knife really opened the door to small fixed blades for you! There are still wayyy too few fixed blades out there with in such a useful shape, with powdered steel and laminate scales with a kydex sheath. This thing is almost too good to be true for 40 bucks, or even less if you keep your eyes peeled. We need more values like this out there, because this really is in a league of its own. Thank you Mr. Emler!!

Snake Bite actually seems more apropos with that slicey Wharncliffe.
The ergonomics are pretty poor on it, in my opinion. I was reminded again why forward finer choils suck. My paring knives have smaller handles but better ergos.

Sea snake. Love mine. Carry it scout carry, paired with a boker neck knife.
I do enjoy the look of it. Conflicted about the choil though. I'd probably want the edge to come as close as possible to the handle so that I'd have a more comfy grip when really bearing down on a cut.

Im rewatching this way later. I love this knife. You really get so damn much for your money. I have the tan one, and I am contemplating the black out version you can get on Amazon. Mike is a great dude, and he really knows his stuff. FYI, there is actually an EDC fixed blade called the Snake Bite, but its by Dawson Knives, and its a pricey one, but out of this world gorgeous, and a custom well worth the money.
I’ve contemplated the Snake Bite several times and handled one at blade show a few years ago and blade on buying one but I ended up not going back to his table. If you like the Artisan Sea Snake they have one in S35vn and Micarta on there site that I picked up 👌

I have EDC a White River Backpacker fixed blade for several years. It has a 3 inch blade of S35VN and I use to zip ties to make belt loops so I can carry the knife in a crossdraw position.
I Have EDC a small fixed blade for 30 years and the Sea Snake I will add to my user knives.
