I got to stand within about 8 feet of Mark during a small concert in Louisville when Alter Bridge first started. He is so much more amazing in person, it reminded me how important it is to see these musicians live!
I remember seeing the numbers guitar back when he had it made. Always thought that was such a cool guitar! Also had the opportunity to see one of the Cacophony shows in Oakland back in the day as well as a jam with Marty and Jason at the Carvin booth at NAMM around the same time. My buddy, John Onder was their bass player for a very short period of time. Good people, amazing players.
