I met Mark Tremonti at an Experience PRS event at the PRS factory. He had just played tunes from his debut solo project with Wolfgang Van Halen on bass. He is really a down to earth kind of guy, not pretentious at all.
@@CFChristian Mark always uses two amps at once. He blends his MT-100 clean channel with the Synergy TDLX tube preamp. Which is based off a Fender clean. For his overdrive he uses the second channel of the MT-100 with the Synergy Morgan AC tube preamp. For his dirty heavy tones it’s the MT-100 red channel with the Synergy Soldano red channel tube preamp. Instead of Mark bringing four individual amplifier heads- which are heavy and must be in road cases, (he technically would need 8 heads- each one needs a backup) he can pack the four Synergy tube preamp modules including backups into just one compact rack case. Easier in terms of logistics, but more complicated in terms of using midi switching/pedalboard communicating with all the channel switching.
