Sure, I still play it and It sounds great! I also have a Gibson J45 snd a Martin hd28v I play a lot and a Gibson J100 Xtra. And a couple more. I play the Hummingbird on specialoccasions, Or when i'm playing Rolling Stones songs. Lol. Thanks for watching, I appreciate you.

Congrats mate ! got one last summer, its my go to acoustic if not go to guitar in general. Love the 61' aesthetics, Gibson under the new management has really been kicking up great quality on both their acoustic and les Paul line and giving us the models we craved with their original 50s and 60s series also. Thank you Gibson!
Update: it’s a great guitar but has the silver Grover tuners. Love it but tempted to change tuners one day lol. They just don’t fit the guitar’s aesthetic IMO

Amazing, for my Birthday this past June 2023, my wife gave me the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson "Hummingbird". What's amazing is, It looks and plays like this Gibson. The sound is the same! The finish is not glossy which I love. If you can afford this Gibson Hummingbird, go for it. But if you can't, go with the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson. You might like it better? That’s too cool because my dad had the same one when I was a kid and that’s the thing that cranked out all the oldies that turned me into a music lover ! Hey Corey! I have a guitar just like this one. Supposed to be one of 167 examples of the year 2020 with exceptional quality. It really shocked me how great it sounded and it is only getting better :-) I use the Martin Vintage Monel strings on it. Very good match. But what I wanted to ask is about the case that it comes in. Mine has a Gibson case alright, but it is black, not brown like yours appear to be. It is also kind of strange because when the lid is closed you can actually see the side of the neck from the outside around the 12 fret or so. I think this must be wrong? I took it back to the store and asked but they insisted that it is the correct case? I argued that it would be impossible to humidify it given the conditions but the guy at the shop did not seem to understand the issue. I gave up further conversation with the guy right there 🙂 I would think that these guitars were delivered with the same kind of case for the run of 2020. What do you think?

You’ve got a nice warm sounding Gibson….what strings did you settle on putting on it ???…BTW I upgrade most of my guitars with Super Jumbo Stainless Steel frets it really improves everything
