Daniel Wnek yea. It’s good visualize storm surge. I live in NJ and lots of people thought Sandy wasn’t going to be that bad. While most evacuated, some stay behind. We had water level rises as high as 15 feet. 9 feet was amazing enough. hundreds of people died. And billions in damage. Was worse with Katrina, most people think “just some wind” and than a 30 foot surge floods your home. Even 3 feet can be bad. So yea these visualizations to definitely help.

You're right, but you also know every time stuff like this happens they report at least 1 casualty as a result of ignoring evacuations. If the city doesn't notify you directly, some people will try to endure even when the signs are right in front of them.

@Archie Bunker Instead of the "due date" being when the item needs to be handed to the professor (deadline), the "due date" here is "I am due to take a test on X date".
The same thing happens with pregnancy; "when is the baby due (to be born)?" versus "when are you due (to give birth)?" Meaning "due date" refers to both the initiation of the act (starting labour, a test, etc) OR the date of completion (baby is finally born, work is handed in, etc)
He is due to take the test, ergo the test is due. In fact, since tests are generally completed on the same day as they are initiated, either directional meaning of "due" technically applies, whether it is "due to begin" or "due to hand in".
