Cardio Aerobics is so fun! I can't even count how many yrs this type of workout was my go to. I still love it. I still have my original Cabbage Patch from the craze of the early 80s. Her name is Deborah, and I will never forget that because it's my mom's name too. We were so surprised when we read the doll's birth certificate. 😊
I loved this one! Just what I needed to boost my mood. I don't remember the name of my Cabbage Patch doll, but I do remember being mad that my older sister got one with long hair in braids but all I got was a dumb short haired one. hahaha

Not gonna lie, I've only just started doing step & aerobics workouts and they're working my brain a bit harder than my body at this point 😅 I had to do this in two parts but I did it! Also, I got my first cabbage patch doll from my super cool older cousin when I was like 4 or something and I have no memory of it's official name but I do remember giving her the name "Baby Seizure Girl" because my mom had a seizure a couple hours after my cousin gave it to me lol. (My mom used to call her grand mal seizures 'baby seizures' for some reason. There's nothing baby about them. Great name for a doll though!)
Omg I was definitely one of the people modifying the squat! I am SO SORE from yesterday 😭. Thanks for a fun 80s week, and keeping me moving even though I'm sore and tire ❤.
I never had a cabbage patch doll....my husband has a bunny that he made in school, the assignment was to make a cabbage patch doll and he didn't want to so he made the bunny....and 40+ years later he still has it and proudly displays it! Love that man!

P.S. I noticed my park district offers an interesting class concept. It's either 20/20/20 or 30/30/30....essentially it's cardio/strength/stretching mobility for each of those time periods in one class. I'm not sure if you've done anything like that, but I'm going to take a look!

I needed something fun today, and this aerobic workout was perfect. It really felt good on my legs after the workouts I did so far this week, in order to loosen up the muscles. I definitely like it when my brain gets a workout too in order to follow the choreography 😅.
Today was NOT grody! I was smiling like a fool, even with no power and using my phone for the first maybe 15 minutes. I even have a new ringtone--Tell Me Something Good. So so so good thanks so much Chris 💜
Music was great today! I especially liked the Madonna song Causing a Commotion. I haven’t heard that in so long! This was so much fun! Some of it reminded me of taking dance classes as a kid with the mambos and Lindy’s. I actually ended up with 5 Cabbage Patch Kids. My first one was named Francis Joanie. Then I had Dwight Myra, a preemie named Patricia (don’t remember the middle name), and twin boys. Thank you so much!! Happy birthday to Jane and Janet! Hope you both have a wonderful day.
Another great 45 minutes aerobics workout 👏🏻👏🏻 Funny how years back when aerobics was seemed to be popular and that’s all the local instructors taught I wanted something more challenging, that wasn’t boring. So I did karate instead for a few years until I moved areas and I couldn’t find a local club. But I always enjoy Chris’s classes no matter what we do, she always makes everything fun and interesting and always great choreography, and get a great workout too 🎉

Woke up with an unhappy knee from driving back from a road trip yesterday. I kept it low impact, even though I usually do high. Burned well over 300 calories and feel great (and my knee isn't more aggravated). Listen to your body and meet it where it is. That's a great way to love yourself. 💗 I did have a Cabbage Patch Kid, but for the life of me, I can't remember her name. I'm a terrible mother! 😬😆

Hi there, I've been on a weightloss journey over the last 12 months going from 168kgs I'm now at 102kgs my goal is 80kgs. I'm 49yrs hate the gym with a passion but I've been doing yr work outs and even tho my feet get tangled I keep moving thank you ❤
Why is it that every time you have a move that I cannot get, when I finally get it, it becomes my favorite move? I loved that cross over knee thing. (Once I got lol) Thank you again for the great workouts!
