I'm one of those who wasn't good at kickboxing when I started Cdorner 2 1/2 years ago. I tried Tae Bo in the late 80s and 90s and failed miserably at the moves. The people on the tv selling the program made it look sooooo easy. 😂😂 I decided I didn't like any form of kickboxing and so I just did other workouts. Fast forward to now... after following Chris I've learned that learning new workouts with unfamiliar moves takes practice. I've learned that doing the wrong move or being on the wrong side doesn't mean I am putting forth less effort and not working 'hard enough'. I've learned from Chris to persevere with workout moves whether step, kickboxing, or yoga. I've learned from Chris to give myself grace and show myself patience. I've learned to have fun. And low and behold, I now recognize the names of kickboxing moves (though I don't always do them correctly), I'm usually on the same foot and arm as Chris, I'm sweating from every inch of my being, and I can do any high impact moves at a fast pace as long as Staying Alive is playing!!🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼😂😂😂 Thank you, Chris, for making me stronger physically and mentally!❤
I really enjoy kickboxing my stress away! The reminder in the middle of the workout about jumping when you are younger and you don’t have to when you are older, it was like you were saying it to me! I do get frustrated when I can’t work out as hard as I used to! That being said, I worked as hard as I could and was a bucket of sweat at the end! THANK YOU CHRIS

Chris, I started working out with you this summer to make it a “summer of strength.” I’m 58 and have worked out for 35+ years, mostly cardio. I don’t look like I work out, a little chubby but feel good. In July, I fell off a rock while hiking and broke my foot. After a few pity parties, I heard you saying, “you can still strength train!” So I started seated strength workouts. I know that the strength training I did helped me navigate four weeks of non weight bearing and for that I thank you. I’m still fearful of jumping in workouts but I embrace the low impact. Thank you so much!!

This workout did not waste a minute in calories burned and endorphin rush. I thought I was going to have trouble with the choreography but your organized progression in moves made it easy. You're a real pro. Thank you!

😅 that was challenging! Whenever I let my mind wander, I messed up, so this forced me to focus! Ahh Chris, I will be following you for the next 5 years for sure, to help with all the negatives that will be coming....As it does work...my anxiety levels are lower today, all due to self care which includes working out! Through the years I can absolutely tell you that a good workout and the endorphins you get really do help to relieve anxiety. Keep up the good work. AND you were absolutely correct when you said you had to stay focused. This workout was so good on so many levels. Glad you benefited.
