YES. also It's interesting that you didn't like Shenmue, for me it was a spiritual successor to River City Ransom(tho admittedly with far less combat and rpg elements lol), then Yakuza took the reigns.

I've always maintained that Rob Man is the jelly to Johnny's peanut butter. On his own Johnny is great, but there isn't quite an episode like when Rob is talking with him.

How do you go about connecting with people in your area that want to play. I live in Southwest Florida and I haven't had a lot of luck with anyone teaching me how to play or even finding groups.
I'll have to check out Garret P.I. I have Glenn Cook's Black Company series. Garret P.I. sounds pretty fun. I'm into the Dresden Files, Hellblazer, and Clive Barber's character Harry D'Amour. I was looking for more Wizard or fantasy detective characters.
