I just want to tell you guys that as a lonely, fourty year old dude, you are like friends for me though you don't even know me. I love videogames, would love to hang with my friends if I had any who still wanted to do that but as I don't have those, I watch this show and I have hope that people like you still exist.
As a 42-year-old, this is some sad shit to read. I don't know your situation, but I don't have "friends" to hangout and play games with. Instead, I've got kids, a wife, and an unrelenting amount of work to contend with. I wish I had friends I could BS with, too, if I had free time, but I don't think that's how it goes for most folks with those kinds of responsibilities.
I just love the vibe of your channel. Most gaming channels these days always approach topics with a general cynicism. You on the other hand always stay positive even on the subject of games you don't like.
It's great to see friends who enjoy and talk about video games after decades. A lot of my close friends stopped playing games once they got married. It's always a treat to see the both of you in a video.
Gotta love some of the techno-elevator spa tunes. :P Weird soundtrack and a complete departure compared 1-6. X7 is easily the worst MM game ever made. X6 was rushed and sloppy, MM5 & 6 were just straight up bland and 10 is probably the most disappointing sequel after coming from something so incredible, ala' MM9, which is easily top-tier in classic series. 2, 1, 9, even 7, maybe 11, X, X2 & X4 take the cake for me.
I always find it odd in a game where storytelling isn't the biggest focus that people purely dislike it because of its voice acting. The snowboard sections are admittedly annoying and I muted the game for that but I think 8 has some really interesting level design and good boss fights.
We did an interview with Ruth Jarman, the voice actress for Mega Man in MM8 (and X in X4) and it was really insightful. The qualification to be on the game was to speak English and be in Japan. There was no direction at all, no context or name pronunciations, the scripts still said Rockman, explaining why Light stumbles in that one scene, and the list goes on. It's oretty fascinating stuff just knowing what went on behind the scenes. As for Battle Network, the Legacy Collection has really done a lot of good. I never played the original releases, but the LC allows you to basically skip the random encounters. The first game is kinda rough, but they get pretty darn fun. As for beating X7, would you consider doing Rookie Hunter Mode in the X Legacy Collection, just to get through it and move onto X8? I'd hate for a new game to finally come out and for you be stuck unable to play it. Thanks for the video, guys! Always a good time!
Love both of you guys. Found your channel in a dark time and it was like hanging out with friends. I can't thank you enough Johnny, Rob, Kim, Andrew and even Swagger. I'm doing a lot better now and you're all a part of that.
X7 is the game I used to hate, but when I was 16-17 I made the choice to only have my PS2 and a copy or X7 with me for a week. I sat down with it being the ONLY video game I could play during that time (and in the summer with no part time job no less), and sat there speed running it over and over and over again. Eventually got to the point where I memorized where all the reploids were, learned to exploit all the bosses, and ran through the game as each character multiple times. By the end of it all, I appreciated the game a lot more, and learned to love it for what it was lol. When X legacy collection 2 came out MANY years later, I found I still liked it! So yeah, there’s a reason I’m listed as one of the first people to earn a platinum in it on PSN lol. Because I’m that crazy guy who likes X7 (and 5, 6 and 8) enough to 100% within a few days of the games release
I love when you two make videos together! I grew up on Battle Network, love the series, but I totally respect Rob's opinion, def not for everyone. Part of the reason I came to appreciate the classic series an all of the other spin-offs in because of Rob's passion for the franchise that came out through your videos back in the day. Can't thank you guys enough for sharing your love for games!
I didn't know about megaman until battle network, so for a while I thought that was the main series. I've played the classics since and I definitely appreciate them.
I grew up on the classics and was skeptical of Battle Network until I received 3 Blue for Christmas one year and was immediately enamored. It was a brilliantly executed experience. It’s my favorite Mega Man spin-off.
One thing I’ll give Battle Network is it lets you move around during battles. Almost no other RPG does that, you just randomly “dodge” attacks sometimes. That real-time element gave BN a big strategic edge. That said… the games getting better as they added new tricks and cleaned up the formula means they get worse the further backwards you go. Except 4. That one’s just cruel.
Man, I can’t tell you how awesome this video was! The dynamic between you guys is just awesome. You can literally see the decades of friendship and the stories you guys told added so much depth. These are the type of friendships we should all be striving to find. And of course, Mega Man 🤘
Great vid Rob/Johnny. Always fun. I remember being so smitten by the FMV and 32 graphics in MM8 that the voices didn't even bother me (I was still getting over the fact that Starfox 64 even had voice acting to begin with lol). I still think MM4 and MM8 are two of my favorites in the series (which is def not a majority opinion). It was also fun looking for the 40 hidden bolts to use as currency to buy upgrades. MM8 and Symphony of the Night to me were rare 2D gems in a sea of blocky first-gen polygon games.
Man, your stories remind me of growing up with my video game bud. Beers, fresh pack of smokes, and newly rented game from Blockbuster for the weekend. The rituals before starting the game night. Having some good munchies, Z95.3FM, and when the late night giggles started, that was the best.
I will never forget how disappointed i was when I got the MM Aniversary Collection on GameCube. Not only that they got the buttons mapped backwards which rendered the game Unplayable for a Vet of the series but the fact that you couldn't change the button mapping in the options was mind blowing. True Disappointment. You weren't the only one.
Oh man, I can remember bringing home Mega Man 8 and having the same feelings. LOL. Great video as always! And thanks for finally not making the Rob Man sit on a small box. haha
Me too, man. When Dr. Light's voice chimed-in during the opening I thought to myself, "geez, now Barbra Walter's English teacher is the voice actor for one of the most iconic characters in video game history." Walawala walshington!
Ugh, I remember really trying to like Mega Man x7 anyone play long enough to remember the games save system? “Would you like to save? (Yes) “Are you sure you really want to save?”
Love Hearing Rob talk about mega man! The Megaman Then to now video being one of my personal favorites! If he’s ever played them I hope to hear his opinions on the zero and Zx games someday!
Lol I remember raging at that part sooo many times! It was actually my first MegaMan game! The soundtrack and the cutscenes/ voice acting are all so nostalgic tho!
Rob you have to give Battle Network another honest shot! 1 is pretty bare bones but every game after it improved and added more and more unique elements and power ups. And fixed the awful world layouts compared to the first one.2 adds elemental style changes and by 4 megaman was completely changing his look to look like the bosses and get their powers. It's probably my second favorite Mega Man series.
The elemental armor sucked though, very bland. And though the styles in 3 were better, they were still confining and strategically not great (though I played against my brother so that actually mattered more) 4's overall layout of needing to be beaten three times might be off putting to some people. But it's still my absolute favorite Megaman series.
To be fair what he describing it he just doesn’t like it the collecting and using the battle chips in general so it’s kinda gonna suck if you treat it like an og mega man game.
So I'm 28. Didn't have a lot of classic MegaMan games growing up. The three I did have? MegaMan 8, MegaMan X7 and MegaMan Legends. I always thought I was nuts so thank you Rob for making me feel less crazy 😂
Granted Battlenetwork 1 is the first RPG Battlenetwork game so it’s rough and that elecman stage was… something. Battlenetwork is still my favourite Megaman series though
So, about the Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!, I learned that the timing for it depends on which half of the screen you are on: Right half: You will need to react to it as soon as you hear the instruction the first time. Left half: You will need to react to it either after you hear it the first time (if you are close to the middle) or a little later (if you are further to the left) MegaphilX made a video about it that shows it better.
Loved watching & listening to your old throwback stories about these games. I used to play video games with the same group of friends throughout high school & university and they've long since moved on from the hobby and lost touch with each other. I always enjoy these types of videos with your old friends the most.
With the exception of Battle Chip Challenge and maybe Network Transmission, Battle Network was a GREAT series. I never played 4.5 though, but I heard it was good.
Gotta be real, I’m kind of having a crap day but hearing you guys made me chuckle. Despite the harm done to Rob’s mental health, thanks for this episode!
Calling Battle Network Mega Mon is the biggest "tell me you didn't play Battle Network without telling me you didn't play Battle Network" self-snitch I've ever seen. The only thing it at all has in common with Pokemon is the versions starting from the third game.
I love the Rob Man videos! Rob and Kim bring a lot to this show. I spent my childhood playing video games with my uncle and my friends so having 2 people talking about games they love (and hate in this case XD) has somthing magical about it.
Another great video, Johnny! I always enjoy your sunny disposition and reminiscing about retro games. I'm about 10 years younger than you (born 1983), but I have a long memory of the NES era in the 1980s, and the 1990s was even more memorable with the SNES/Genesis, N64/PS1, etc. When Rob mentioned the Mega Man Anniversary Collection on the GameCube, I KNEW right away he was gonna talk about the button map! I remember when I bought that in 2006 (?), and tried to play the games, I was PISSED that you couldn't change the button map! I still play the original Mega Man games to this day on my NES and Switch, so my muscle memory of the A/B buttons is firmly planted! I also owned a Game Boy Advance, but never picked up any of the Battle Network games, but they always intrigued me. Keep it up, dude! Love your content!
There's a hacked version of the anniversary collection out there that fixes the button layout thankfully. Emulation works too of course, but yeah that stupid button layout infuriated me as well.
I've been friends with my roommate for almost 10 years now and watching you guys, how you bounce off each-other and how you have all these stories and memories of playing games together makes me hope that he and I stay friends for as long, to have so many good times to look back on and enjoy together sounds amazing.
I had no idea those Mega Man 8 voices were so bad, lol. It's so funny you guys are putting this video out because just a couple days ago I watched Rob's original review of the Mega Man series. Also that edit saying "Super Mary-o Brothers" 🤣
Love the teasing on jump/jump/slide/slide 😅 But yeah, there's something uniquely terrifying about playing a game in one of your favorite series that's *really bad*. You just have to hope with all your might that it isn't going to be the direction the series starts going in... For me, that was Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. As someone who grew up every game in the series starting with Red/Blue, it was kind of maddening to have them completely discard the whole "you have to weaken them before you can catch them" rule and also reward your party experience for that (the player tossing a curveball at a pidgey made the party learn how to battle better?) That said, I do think this one in particular was made for elementary school kids as the target audience, so it's hard to say as a grown adult that it's a bad game. I just hated the idea that the next games could follow in that direction. Would've been an absolute nightmare.
Like many others I used to really grind out games, even mid ones due to not having a ton of money, I tried 2 stages of X7 and took it back to the store the same day
Always love seeing an episode with Rob! The ps2 megaman rant was hilarious. I recommend trying out Granblue Fantasy Relink, I think you both would love it 😊 I just started it and love it so far!
I literally thought I was the only person ever that HATED the GC version of Megaman Anniversary because of that stupid controller layout! I was so frustrated to have to take it back to the store and pick up the PS2 version instead. THANK YOU!
It's technically more of a card collector RPG game rather than a creature collector RPG, so the Pokemon/Digimon analogy isn't entirely accurate. I agree that the first game is a bit unbalanced and that the second game is noticeably better from what I remember.
Rob should try the Megaman X8 Demake, same story, stages, and enemies but with MMX graphics and it’s actually really good! Hands down the best way to experience that game
Rob your story gave me force unleashed 2 flashbacks I was so excited like yourself even got my friend at future shop to score me an early copy then I played it and my heart broke lol
Man in high school my friends and I would have tournaments at lunch time for Megaman Battle Network 3 good times thank you for unlocking that memory Johnny and Rob.
I remember in 2004 trying to decide whether to get the MM Anniversary Collection for PS2 or Gamecube and I gotta thank IGN’s review for warning me about this boneheaded decision to swap A and B on GC. That singlehandedly helped me make the informed and correct decision of buying the PS2 version and avoided the GC fiasco.
I remember when X7 came out. At the time I was lucky to find one copy at any store near me, and was the only copy I ever saw of the game in any of the stores near me. Weird of how X5, X6, and X8 were easier to find than X7. I'd say that X7 is probably the only one I didn't beat as many times as the others.
Oh man, the dialogue in MM8 is so bad it's good. They kept the flubbing of lines in (when he almost calls MegaMan wily). MegaMan screaming for like 15 seconds straight. My favorite is the ice boss line "I will crush you. I will beat...you". Other the the jump/slide part that entire games English dialogue is so friggin funny.
Not in any order but Battlenetwork on the Gamecube i was like wtf is this ,Megaman Soccer ,X7 ,X8 and i have a contreversial i hate Megaman 7 always hate it was slow as hell i imagine it was because of the hype of Megaman X was so high that going back to Megaman 7 was really bad for me !!!
Even if ROBMAN doesn't show up again in 2024 we have everything we need from him this year lol. I can't believe YOU Johnny didn't laugh out loud when he said Beautiful ROBMAN humor right there LOL. Thanks ROBMAN and Johnny both of you have a GREAT 2024 and HAPPY NEW YEAR :).
Mega Man 8 on the Sega Saturn I really enjoyed, the OST is different than the PSX and other releases after this. I get not everyone liked it but the OST itself was great. I do like that we all have our own opinions and experiences though, great part about this community!🙂
First time viewer. Interesting to see 2 gamers closer to my age. I might be a bit older as I was gaming before the NES even released. Breath of fresh air to hear an opinion from gamers who played the game in question in the same decade of release. Tired of hearing from safe space gamers born in the 2000's, telling me why the old games are over rated. Also a huge Mega Man fan. Completely agree with the voice acting in 8. I also don't care for the Battle Circuit games and I would add the Zero series to the list as well. I have the remakes on PS4 (except Battle Circuit). I thought you'd mention X6 as a lot of people I know really hate that game but I didn't think it was too bad. I also don't like playing games out of order and so after beating X6, I thought that maybe the reviews were too harsh and there would be some fun to be had. A Mega Man fan would know that older releases of MM10 have a trophy (or achievement) that asks you to beat the game without taking a hit. I did this for both my Xbox and PS3. For me to not even want to touch X7 ever again might help any reader understand how I feel about this game. I hate X7 so much that I am not going to bother with platinum trophy like I did with the other game collections. What might be controversial is that I feel the same way about Mega Man Legends. I do not care for it.
Didn’t know about Dr. Fudd in MM8 (I played heck out of 2 & 3 but kinda got tired of the formula after that). But it reminded me of how well they did Dr. Wily in Captain N The Game Master - he’s always running out of breath before his sentences are finished…So it’s funny, like you guys. Speaking of “Mary-o” games, they’re called “Merry 1” and “Merry 2” on my “31 in 1” NES cartridge that I got from Canadian Tire back in the day.
The funny thing is that I've heard people say that MMX8 is better, but I think it's just in comparison to MMX7 that people say that. Because X8 is an absolute letdown too. Terrible. Honestly, the last good MMX game is X4, imo. After that the series went to shit.
I don't like the first game. The first one in the series that I played was MM3 and it blew me away. Since I liked it so much I decided to rent MM2 from Blockbuster after I returned MM3, and it was even better. Figuring there was no way I could wrong, I rented the first game next. I couldn't get into it. It just felt like a massive step down from 2 & 3.
Awesome video !!!! Also great information. I've known about Megaman for a very long time and I recently decided to start exploring the library. Now I know which games I can skip. Much 🤘 from Ontario 🇨🇦
15:12 I’m really surprised by the generational gap because I grew up with the four button + button layout so I just know certain buttons do certain things so it’s not that difficult to learn positions as compared to you guys that know the positions by letter, I love that gaming now includes the older people like ourselves
I agree with all of these except Mega Man 8. It’s not my favorite of the series, but I’m a sucker for that pure 90’s cheese. MM8 has a certain whimsical charm.
I share your sentiments, and your pain with regards to Megaman X7, Rob. Between the slog-fest of the poorly implemented attempt of the RPG-esque mechanic of leveling up each character to make them more effective to utilize, the uninspiring theming and layout of each stage, let alone the frustrating and/or mind-numbing tediousness of beating each maverick in the game (particularly Snipe Anteater, and Flame Hyenard) especially without access to X as a playable character)), it's a wonder how I managed to beat Megaman X7 at all; let alone with all 3 characters. In fact, that game burned me (and a lot of Megaman fans) so bad, that I completely passed over Megaman X8, & Megaman X: Command Mission when they came out. And by the time I was willing to give those games a proper chance (thanks to fellow gamers at that time), those games were not only discontinued from production, but also super rare to find and expensive to buy (especially X8). Thank the cosmos that Capcom made and released the Megaman X Legacy Collection, so that anyone who missed out on the numbered Megaman X games has a chance to play them. (Though I wished that Capcom included the two Game-Boy games Megaman Xtreme, and Megaman Xtreme 2 with the collection; (especially the latter one, since its events was directly referenced in Megaman X6).) P.S.: I also agree that it's bulls#!t that you had to either successfully rescue 64 reploids from the maverick stages (all 16 from the first 4 maverick stages you play (the quickest possible time available to meet said requirement legitimately)), or destroy all 8 of the mavericks in your first playthrough, in order to unlock and play as X; (who is by far and away, the best character to play as, and get through the game (thanks mostly to his charge shot).
There will never be a game as depressingly potent as Operation Raccoon City. I just about sold my soul for it at 12 years old, I SKIPPED my 55th watch of Aliens at my Grandma's house just to go home and play what equated to a dumpster fire. Never. Forget.
I clicked this video half expecting another little rant on the two DOS Mega Man games. Instead I get some personal stories about the more easily accessible games, so that's also good to hear. Among those four choices, I have some fond memories of the latter two, mainly cause the X7 demo was on one of the few PS2 demo discs I ever had, and Battle Network was the only rom I managed to play during the earliest days of GBA emulation, even with it lagging on my dinosaur of a PC. I remember being disappointed that the GC/PS2 collections didn't see a European release, but after briefly experiencing those same muscle memory issues you mentioned by using a GC controller on a Switch game, I feel I dodged a bullet in retrospect. As for the voice acting in 8, I found it even more jarring in X4 simply cause X has the exact same voice. Come to think of it, I haven't played every X game to completion yet either for very much the same reason you haven't touched X8. I too can be a sucker for playing certain games in order.
I just want to tell you guys that as a lonely, fourty year old dude, you are like friends for me though you don't even know me. Rob: I don't like megaman battle network
Me: Straight to jail
Yea i love thos games but i get why he doesn't. Their for da RPG gamers.
Do not pass GO, do not collect $200
“Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!” Haunts the dreams of many a mega man fan…
Love the passion Rob man! 😁
I love 8, but I literally couldn’t get past the snow boarding level at Wiley’s Castle
Grr. I hated that about Mega Man 8. And I didn't play it until the Legacy Collection. It's still brutal!!!!
If they wanted to up the difficulty they would have taken out the jump/slide alert (and let you appreciate the music on the level)
I'm such a weeb that I played the Japanese version of Megaman 8. Funny enough, I loved that aspect of the game. Guess that makes me a bad person.

I loved this video. If it makes Rob feel any better, a lot of English dubs for anime in the 80s and 90s had bad voice acting.
They didn’t care
Pretty sure they lived through that era. They know.
Or the dubs for the old Godzilla movies ha ha.

And though the styles in 3 were better, they were still confining and strategically not great (though I played against my brother so that actually mattered more)
4's overall layout of needing to be beaten three times might be off putting to some people.
I understand the initial reaction to the GameCube control scheme, but it's not bad, once you get used to it.
Granted Battlenetwork 1 is the first RPG Battlenetwork game so it’s rough and that elecman stage was… something. Battlenetwork is still my favourite Megaman series though
I'm glad the Battle Network collection has the Buster Max Mode. It makes the first game more bearable.
So, about the Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!, I learned that the timing for it depends on which half of the screen you are on:
Right half: You will need to react to it as soon as you hear the instruction the first time.
Left half: You will need to react to it either after you hear it the first time (if you are close to the middle) or a little later (if you are further to the left)
MegaphilX made a video about it that shows it better.
Loved watching & listening to your old throwback stories about these games. I used to play video games with the same group of friends throughout high school & university and they've long since moved on from the hobby and lost touch with each other. I always enjoy these types of videos with your old friends the most.
MM2 is not only one of the best NES games of all time, but the OST is top 5 🐐
Masterbootrecord's cover of the Dr Wily stage music is just *chef's kiss
With the exception of Battle Chip Challenge and maybe Network Transmission, Battle Network was a GREAT series. I never played 4.5 though, but I heard it was good.
Haha, Rob's imitation of Mega Man 8's voice is spot on. Great vid Robert and Jogn! (:
Gotta be real, I’m kind of having a crap day but hearing you guys made me chuckle. Despite the harm done to Rob’s mental health, thanks for this episode!
This is one of the best and funniest episode ever 😂 I laughed my ass off, Rob is amazing and great person.
Always an absolute pleasure to see Rob and Johnny together!
good to see Rob back! Bring him back more often
Super Mary-o Bros. Haha! The editing was great on this one as well!
I had no idea those Mega Man 8 voices were so bad, lol. It's so funny you guys are putting this video out because just a couple days ago I watched Rob's original review of the Mega Man series.
Also that edit saying "Super Mary-o Brothers" 🤣
Love the teasing on jump/jump/slide/slide 😅
But yeah, there's something uniquely terrifying about playing a game in one of your favorite series that's *really bad*.
Been waiting for this since Rob's videos reviewing and going over the Series as a whole.
Like many others I used to really grind out games, even mid ones due to not having a ton of money, I tried 2 stages of X7 and took it back to the store the same day
Wow, seeing you 2 back for a video really made me happy :)
Love listening to you talk about the ceremony for mega man 8. Gaming is so great!
Here I am waiting for the battle network collection to go on a decent sale to snatch them up 😂
Good to see another Robman vid.
Megaman 8 has always been one of my favorites. Voices never phased me. Incredible soundtrack and best color pallet.
True. And to be fair he only hates the voices lol so if he liked the voices I think he'd love MM8
Some of my favourite videos have been Robs Megaman reviews. Great to see another!
You guys have the best chemistry and humor 🙂
Always love seeing an episode with Rob! The ps2 megaman rant was hilarious. I recommend trying out Granblue Fantasy Relink, I think you both would love it 😊 I just started it and love it so far!
Great to see rob again!
The super combo of the channel returns! Johnny + Rob are awesome.
Great to see Rob I really believe he's still such a sharp mind in gaming as a new fan learning your channel happy console gamer
I literally thought I was the only person ever that HATED the GC version of Megaman Anniversary because of that stupid controller layout! I was so frustrated to have to take it back to the store and pick up the PS2 version instead. THANK YOU!
When Rob compared Battle Network to Pokemon in a bad way, it made me want to try those games even more 😅
It's technically more of a card collector RPG game rather than a creature collector RPG, so the Pokemon/Digimon analogy isn't entirely accurate. I agree that the first game is a bit unbalanced and that the second game is noticeably better from what I remember.
@@TheBlackSeraph I look forward to trying them!
This is the laugh i was looking for this morning. Bravo, sirs. Thank you for much needed laughs when talking about the jank PSX era of voice acting
Rob should try the Megaman X8 Demake, same story, stages, and enemies but with MMX graphics and it’s actually really good!
Hands down the best way to experience that game
Robman episode are always a show to watch.
Great to have Rob again, hahaha it was a great episode :)
The comedic timing with the editing is killer johnny boy
Robman is such a greta guy and all the episooodes with him are a joy! Please Robman return with your ytb content
Mega-MAN? More like Mega-Prepubescent-Boy!
That voice is crayyyyy 🤯
Yeah that was wild lol
Mega Man was always supposed to be a 10-yo boy, but his voice in 8, though???
Mega man 8 was the 2nd mega man game I bought and I love how cheesy it was! “I’m clown man!!!” lol 😂
No way. I'll admit Batlle Network has some clunky dungeons and corny story, but it's charming as heck and the combat system is amazing.
Great video guys! Love seeing you two together!
Just wanted to drop by and say, "hi" and thank you for making such incredible videos. I can't tell you how much I look forward to these!
Mega Man 8 on the Sega Saturn I really enjoyed, the OST is different than the PSX and other releases after this. I get not everyone liked it but the OST itself was great.
I do like that we all have our own opinions and experiences though, great part about this community!🙂
Love you guys, your like the two Ronnie's of the gaming world.
Cool sponsor! And great vid! 😊
The funny thing is that I've heard people say that MMX8 is better, but I think it's just in comparison to MMX7 that people say that. Because X8 is an absolute letdown too. Terrible. Honestly, the last good MMX game is X4, imo. After that the series went to shit.
Man I love Megaman 8!!! The music is great. You guys are playing one of my favorite music tracks, the opening stage!!!
Seeing as Rob Man is on so seldom nowadays can we please have his old Rob World intro back when he is on... its so nostalgic.
I had played Metroid Prime right before Mega Man Anniversary Collection on GameCube, so the B = Jump, A = Shoot thing felt just fine for me.
There's no bad classic Megaman for me. ❤
Fluid like liquid water always gets me haha! Jump jump slide slide forever guys! Great editing by the way!
I think we can all agree Mega Man X7 is hot garbage and deserves the top spot for the worst Mega Man game ever in the history of human civilization.
The passion is real! 🤣 Love to the Rob Man!
Yaaa, they’re back! Thanks John and Rob.
(Though I wished that Capcom included the two Game-Boy games Megaman Xtreme, and Megaman Xtreme 2 with the collection; (especially the latter one, since its events was directly referenced in Megaman X6).)
P.S.: I also agree that it's bulls#!t that you had to either successfully rescue 64 reploids from the maverick stages (all 16 from the first 4 maverick stages you play (the quickest possible time available to meet said requirement legitimately)), or destroy all 8 of the mavericks in your first playthrough, in order to unlock and play as X; (who is by far and away, the best character to play as, and get through the game (thanks mostly to his charge shot).
There will never be a game as depressingly potent as Operation Raccoon City. I just about sold my soul for it at 12 years old, I SKIPPED my 55th watch of Aliens at my Grandma's house just to go home and play what equated to a dumpster fire. Never. Forget.
I need to play this game lol
I have to know how bad it is 😂
“Dr. Fudd” had me ROLLING😂😂😂
Mega Man X7 was such a disappointment. Played it one time and never went back to it
I clicked this video half expecting another little rant on the two DOS Mega Man games.
