I like to see what you've done with the truck. The issue with the horn I've seen it at work at least half a dozen times. An interior cab light is something I wished they had put in our trucks. The stock steering wheel is trash anyway, that one from the PLS looks so much better on your hands.
thank you so much for posting! loving your common-sense mods. more truck videos please! one day i hope to have the room to have such a magnificent beast so am stocking up on your experiences and wisdom in the meantime. thank you again Micah!
@@micahadams2 fantastic videos. I'm considering purchasing an MTRV which I otherwise wouldn't if you hadn't posted all of these. I'm not a mechanic by trade nor do I have a nice spacious shop but I have access to one. How would you qualify the cost of ownership? Obviously greater costs in fluid volumes but how about the parts? Do you buy much surplus when possible? Do you find yourself making repairs and replacements frequently? Assuming you're willing to field them, Is this the best way to contact you with questions? Thanks

How much was the ac kit you got? And the brand? I’ve got the ac kit on all of my m35s Currently building a cab extension with a folding bench seat to bed
@@micahadams2 oh ok I had my mechanics customize the ones that we got. I will send you An update on the build of the extended cab also. Love what you’ve done to yours. I use these as my daily LOL. We had one converted from c12 and placed a c15 from one of my semi trucks air suspension and all LOL.
@@precisionlift4230 impressive! I'd like to build ones into a quad cab as well. What kind of costs and time are involved with that? Did you start with another (surplus) cab to do that?
Some states have different laws. California does require a class B. I am not sure of other states but I think a lot do require a CDL because the truck is over 26k lbs

Very very good prep prior to shooting your video. And yeah I really didn't like the fire extinguisher there either but everything else, hell yes!
Thanks so much. Still gotta find a place for the extinguisher

I bought a bunch of other stuff with it but I think it was about $1k. Its a Oshkosh factory AC kit made for the truck

Do you need a CDL to drive this truck for personal private use?
