I hope you all enjoyed the video! Lucifer is definitely one of my favourite DC characters and I hope you all appreciate him just as much now too.

To be fair that's how Greek mythology works. A couple dudes are like you know what'd be cool, becoming a God. Then they go and kidnap a bunch of people and eventually get their comeuppance because they didn't think it through entirely

Awesome series on Lucifer, have you ever thought about doing a video on Lucifer vs. Doctor Manhattan? This has always seemed like an interesting match up to me, as they are two nigh-omnipotent beings with opposite outlooks on life. Manhattan accepts that everything is pre-determined, and as well as being a puppet to the universe, while Lucifer rejects this, wanting nothing more than to break free from his father's plan. If you break it down, they also have very similar abilities within their respective power sets (After Manhattan's power upgrade in Rebirth). I'd love to see a video on what you think an interaction between these two might be like. Would either be concerned about one another, or even aware of each others existence? How would Manhattan react to meeting an archangel? Though he would likely not care, would Lucifer be aware of Manhattan's alterations to time?

@@tamd5670Lol exactly. Manhattan is just a puppet that can see the strings of fundamental things like The Endless. He isn't nigh-omnipotent on the scale that Lucifer is. Lucifer is just as eternal as The Endless and arguably even The Presence himself. Both Manhattan and Lucifer can step back and look at time as one thing, rather than it being split into past, present, and future; but the difference is, Lucifer doesn't have to be controlled by it.

The answer to the grey hand is in the cover, In Lucifer comics Volume 3 Issue 10, we se all the avatars of Lucifer, in chronological order going backwards, the last one looks like a Giant CAT with three eyes, That and the grey hand are of the same creature, an avatar of Lucifer. It is a direct reference to "A dream of a thousand cats" of Sandman. Before he was in human form, the Endless and the Angels, were in a cat form, but the dream of the humans changed everything from the beginning of the universe retroactively.
Now that this run is over and darkcrisis came and went specially the issue where great darkness reveals itself to be lucifer you should make part 4

People were discussing in forums that true darkseid is no more canon. That's why I asked. I haven't read rebirth or late new 52 comics except some metal issues and doomsday clock. So I don't really know

I don't get it, in volume one the presence left creation to never return and Elaine turns into the new god of creation, then In volume 2 the presence is back in heaven and metatron is canon out of nowhere (quick explanation: metatron according to tradition and theories is the right hand of God, that's what metatron's name means basically) so Michael and Lucifer never where god's best servants (first Luci then Michael) like it was stated in volume 1, so this means that volume 2 isn't canon because it wasn't even finished?
Also I think that vol 3 is an elseworld too
Yeah it kinda makes sense that lucifer isnt the great darkness since lucifer is only nigh omnipotent and the great darkness merged with the presence so its omnipotent.
No it's only an aspect and it merged with Yaweh to create balance, Pralaya was where it came from, she's the most powerful being and was where darkness and nothingness came from. Hecatre created the Presence as she was formed from the Collective Unconscious that exists above Infinite Dimensional Platforms and is below The Great Darkness as she's a form of Collective Unconscious, which all came from The Great Darkness.
And it's called the Great Evil Beast, that's what merged with The Presence.

I never said he wasn't the creator. He clearly is the creator within a particular sphere of belief history where he was retroactively made the creator of the DC creation.
