I always found that scene with Hal getting kicked out of the corp over recreating his home in a state of grief silly. "Hey, hey, hey! No grieving for you, @$$hat! Now give up your ring, using it to make projections is suddenly against the rules." On a serious note, I remember reading this arc when it came out and seeing OG pre-yellow space bug parallax for the first time. I was too young to really know who Hal was, but was still in awe at how crazy, desparate and unhinged was in those final moments as he killed his fellow corp members and broke Sinestros neck just before stepping into the central battery and becoming the villain. It was so intense and awesome.

Before watching if you had asked me I would have said "yeah he beat the Spectre in Zero Hour and was really strong in Convergence" but I didn't realize how insane he was! I also thought it was really interesting seeing the information about the Sun-Eaters, those are nuts.

This will sound weird but can you do a video on hands? Like, empty hand, anti monitor, presence, perpetua, the dude that fell over holding a pen while overdosing on drugs. There has been for decades this iconic scene of the open hand to be the start of everything and i understand it can represent the creation the writer brings and the hand is the means for that, but there has to be something more going on that simply that. There was one ancient greek philosopher (sadly i can't remember which one was it been years), that said that every thing takes it's from from a true thing. For example there is a perfect vase in existence and every vase everyone makes, follows this perfect form but they themselves are not perfect like it. And for everything that ever exists, it mimics it but never perfectly. The moment of the creation of the universe every time we see that hand, reminds me of this.
Man The Specter really do be the "Worf" of cosmic level DC hes getting bodied left and right in these videos. Like... At this point of Webcam covers a character from DC that hasn't beaten him like a redheaded step child I just kinda feel bad for them
You claim to be telling them "how things work" but then you made a number of weird claims about Spectre that don't really line up with what you are trying to say about him. Spectre no matter his form always gets stomped by 5th dimensional imps particularly Mxy but even Lkz and Thunderbolt have manhandled him with no problems at all. Spectre even whilst heavily amped lost to Anti-monitor and was also easily defeated by Michael Demiurgos who like accidentally overexerted himself slapping tf out of Spectre and flicking him away casually. No Spectre is close to any of these characters. Moreover it was Jim Corrigan vs Anti-monitor and it was Corrigan that got defeated by Parallax during Zero Hour too. Nor is "Unbound" Spectre strong he's actually weaker without a host as has been stated numerous times. He was so weak hostless in Day of Vengeance that he had to use hax to defeat the Wizard Shazam and needed to use forbidden excess power he absorbed from people like Shazam to even hurt Nabu even when Nabu was telling Spectre to kill him. The Spectre's power varies depending on how skilled the host at manipulating that power which is why Hal Spectre was so much more vastly powerful than his predecessors because he was already used to a Green Lantern ring. The Spectre Force itself directly compares it's own power to that of the function of a Lantern Ring. As opposed to this weird idea that The Presence is randomly changing how much power he gets when we see often that's not really how these powers work. Also the Phantom Stranger and Spectre were made to be equals and they always do balance each other in that way as The Presence directly points out himself. The Phantom Stranger just holds back a lot more.

If so hes a cthonic god with mass mind manipulation and telepathic powers as well as the ability to grant protection with his mark. The ability to take many forms, cause madness or absolute loyalty in nearly anybody, and the ability to move through shadows and dreams. If you go by the idea that hastur is another form of nyarlathothep, then he is also the embodiment of pure chaos with the ability/job to awaken the elder gods when the time is right for the universe to fall and once he gets bored.
Hmmmm... So, like Kyle Rainer just randomly gives a psychotic Hal Jordan (who was just thwarted from destroying the universe) the one thing he needs to regain power to destroy the universe?
I do have a question about the Parallax from Convergence. He lingers around the DCU for quite some time after its conclusion and after he confronts the current incarnation of Hal and is convinced to leave, what happens to him? I believe he had another appearance after this, but I have been able to track it down. He hasn't been mentioned or seen since, and I find it curious that so powerful an entity just disappears into limbo without explanation.
My guess is he’s chilling in the heavenly pocket dimension superboy prime, Alexander luthor and the golden age Lois and Clark went after crisis and never left. Can you do a video about the power of the Scarlet King from the SCP Mythos?
Isnt he basically the king in yellow, hastur from hp lovecraft, who may or may not be nyarlathothep.

Uhh the Scarlet King is almost nothing like the King in Yellow in nature.
That's the Hanged King mostly.
@@thorshammer7883 i must have been thinking of the crimson or red king from something else, my bad
Too many red stylized "kings"
Hmmmm... So, like Kyle Rainer just randomly gives a psychotic Hal Jordan (who was just thwarted from destroying the universe) the one thing he needs to regain power to destroy the universe?
Please make a video on "Perpetua" and "The Great Evil Beast"
Wonder where this time traveling parallax was at in the batman metal sseries........ seems to forever be alive.
underrated op character
WHERE IS HE
This form of Hal Jordan automatically solos Alien X and his entire fodder verse.
Hell considering the powers of dr Manhattan have trouble emotional spectrum it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s still around after death metal just contemplating his existence.
Then there’s the theory Hal secretly won the zero hour crisis but I won’t go into details.
Can you do a video of how powerful is Kyle Rayner as both green lantern and white lantern
Yo bro, would Love to see a Doctor Fate/ Lords of Order and Chaos video from you and a Captain Atom one. Orrr Id love you to do a “Sources of Power” In DC and Marvel (Stuff like Power Cosmic, Speed force, emotional spectrum etc)

Great video. What comic issue was it where Hal beat Captain Atom at 6:51 ?
Can you do a video on imperiex or dominus, their pretty underrated villains that doesn't get much attention.
Speaking of mongul, do you think you’ll ever do a video about him at some point?
Please do heirachy of both DC heaven and hell as well as other realms
Hey I was wondering after the conclusion of death metal has the powerscaling in dc changed in any major ways? Like did superboy prime get buffed? And is the empty hand related to the hands mentioned?
Prime didn't get a buff. because he didn't do any damage to Darkest Knight. just punched him around. and that Hand is belong to Perpetua
A lot of the DC cosmic landscape (quintessence) got wiped by the new Darkseid
Good video
Do Monarch 👍
