  • One of our customers was handed down a green gemstone that had belonged to her grandmother. It was very special to her, so she decided to have it set into a ring for herself. However, the stone was much too big for everyday wear. She asked if Mike was able to cut the stone down into a more wearable design. Watch as award-winning gem cutter, Michael Sackos, facets this sentimental stone into the “Gram Prince” design by Jeff Graham.

Wow that was a big hit you took on the weight but I like the result far better than the original stone. Set in a ring I presume????

Yes there was a loss of carat weight. We knew that ahead of time and the stone was cut to the size the client wanted, and in the design the client wanted. Yes, this gemstone is now in a ring treasured by the owner.
