@@rhythmantic I'm not a drummer never played in a band but in the 50+ years of listening to ALL kinds of music I get the impression that Charlie was the core, the foundation, glue that provided that sound for the band. Was in the groove, in the pocket with his beat. One of my top 3 pop/rock drummers of all time. The other two, Keith Moon & Ringo Starr!!

Unfortunately all 160 + drum cover videos of The Beatles are blocked in most countries and only YT can make them available. Only I can view them. Perhaps one day the foolish unjust copyright claim will be lifted- I’ve seen that happen before. These videos were available from 2009-2015 and after the band’s songs became available for download sales online is when they got blocked.

Pretty good but a tad rushed
I am not a drummer at all, and maybe it’s an audio synch issue but the tempo of Satisfaction and Paint it Black sounded too fast, slowing down a tad and giving the space for the natural sound of your drum to breathe between beats is to me Charlie’s secret- and being slightly behind Keith. Something like Honky Tonk women though being really crisp is important. Your Jumpin Jack Flash and Midnight Rambler to me sounded very close to Charlie! Great job on those Cheers
