finally took the leap and bought my first drum kit back in October.
Without a doubt its been one of the best if not the best purchases I've ever made. My biggest regret is buying a cheap set with limited capabilities and options. I've been watching and learning from your videos and I've probably watched this one the most. Thanks again and look forward to more

Sal, thanks for another fantastic cover and this is indeed a great tribute to Charlie Watts. I've been a "senior" drum student for about two years, and have been watching your channel for awhile . it's been a great source of inspiration and I hope that I'll be able to play covers like this some day. You mentioned in one of your other videos that you're a "schooled" drummer. Where were you "schooled"? They obviously did a great job!
Hey Kenny, thanks for viewing this video and others from my channel. I'm always glad to learn my videos serve other drummers. By "schooled", I meant that on an academic level is my knowledge of drumming in that I read and write notation for the drum set and continue in practicing and learning technique and things I can't play. And also I've played in big bands, jazz ensembles and percussion ensembles in college. The only lessons I've taken were 3 from Narada Micheal Walden. I've been a professional drummer for over 57 years and continue to track drums in my home studio for clients all over the world.

No there isn’t a pickup note in the kick, that’s me putting a funky swagger swing on the kick, having grown up in Brooklyn NY not in London England.

May I ask what drum-software you use ?
I’m still playing on my Roland TD-9KX that I bought more than 15 years ago, with an extra crash cymbal. The only thing I’d like to change is the hi-hat. It’s OK for home-use and for practice, but that’s it.
But I’m new to using software. Do you have any tips ?

I don’t know from which region you are in the US, but keep in mind when you visit Belgium that it rains a lot. So don’t forget your umbrellas !! 😂 But, regardless of the weather, we have a lot of nice places to visit with a history that goes back to the Middle Ages and earlier. Places like Ghent and Bruges are top cities to visit for US citizens. The UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands share a lot of history. So, don’t forget, when you visit Belgium, I’d be honored to meet you ! Maybe you could give me some drum-tips in return. 😜
