- How do I stay motivated? The question that comes up a lot and that I could talk about for a long time, but I kept it brief because I'm tired lol. In all seriousness though, I love a good challenge and just being a leader of what I do instead of a follower. Hope you guys get something out of this video and if you do, I will do more. Especially on day and time where I have more energy lol. Thanks for watching guys!

Depression is an extremely messed up challenge I'm pretty sure most of Us face right now, as it has killed My motivation many times, as it even has in fact definitely killed lots of kind hearted people that don't deserve it...... 😢
I've had times where I was so miserable, I actually made an attempt, as I felt so dull and empty inside...
But as time goes on, I look forward to the things I am most grateful for, and that's all of the important things in My life, like Mum, and older Brother, and as for entertainment, You really have been a big part of My life helping Me to stay sane, as Your content has helped keeped My demons at bay, so I thank You, Kevin, from the bottom of My heart, Sir!

I went to get a second degree with a full time job and family. One of the toughest things to do.
Reading books to get more knowledgeable is one thing ,going to school and having a schedule in order to complete it ,is a whole different level.
This video hits heavy. I got into guitar and heavy music from my parents divorce. Turning negative emotions and thoughts into something productive can change a lot of things. A lot of people don't understand how brutal music is an amazing outlet for depression/anger. Great insight man, I've hit a wall with guitar and have been having issues improving and have a tough time picking up the damn thing lol. Your videos and others like it really help me get motivated to keep pushing to play. Thanks for what you do!

i like these type of chill videos. "will's easy guitar" used to do these vids and they were just relaxing for some reason. i wouldnt mind a monthly chill with kevin. its like listening to someone that doesn't exist in real life, only on youtube. i wish i had a friend like this but no one can put their dam phone down and talk to me

Always "hands free" from the cellphone while driving, it's safer that way! The gym and music also became a stronger focal point in life after I experienced the same personal traumas as well.

The motivation for me is to keep it recreational, especially guitar and random stuff, like I got back into Hacky sack and it's been very exhausting exercising like that lol

I believe death metal itself no matter if to some people sounds negative, i it take as a very motivating music
I always remember that scene from airheads where the DJ asks him about his grim reaper tattoo. It’s kind of a goofy tattoo and the DJ assumes it means nothing but Brendan Frasier’s character says it’s the grim reaper waiting for him and if he doesn’t get his ass in motion he’s going to waste his life. For him that means he’s got to get his band going. I always loved that scene. It’s kind of a goofy movie (I still love it, you can’t pluralize the Lone Ranger, dude!) but that part’s serious. Every day the sun sets is one less day you have on earth. Put your fucking phones down.

After school and homework, it was always meeting up with friends and go hang out somewhere. I am 61 in a few months and when I jump on my road bike( bicycle) and ride 100k my phone stays at home and off. I have a cycling computer I do t need s phone.
I really wish I’d stuck with playing guitar. I tried picking it up again, but after getting a lot bigger and stronger since I stopped playing-not to mention since I started using gear-I’ve noticed that when I try to play now my forearms burn like hell. I don’t know how you do it. Maybe I’m just not being consistent enough to get used to the new stimulus.

I see a ton of boomers doing that shit. One guy was in his big, lifted Chevy with his arms slouched over the steering wheel holding his phone up. This was in a residential area too where people were walking their dogs and kids were playing. The guy could barely see over the dashboard as it is. Also, people will ride your ass because they're trying to look at their phones and the rear of your car at the same time to know they're not going too slow. I seriously thought it was illegal, and if it is, there is no way it is enforced.
