I recently started making Clove tea, just put 5-6 whole cloves in a small pot of water and simmer it for 20 min. It makes your house smell wonderful, it boosts your metabolism and decreases your appetite, helps with digestion and circulation. Thank you I do need a dinner tray.

  • @rainncorbin8291

Love the tray, but i don't have enough legs to support a tray. What do i use? Tied ropes to the doorknobs so as im going through i grab the rope and after the chair goes thru i can pull the door shut with a rope.
Yardwork. I do all my own yardwork. I got a push mower that's lightweight so i can mow with just the one arm and control the piwer chair with the other. I bought a Ryobi short, electric weedeater which is the perfect size to use in a chair and now i can do my 5,000 sq ft yard myself. I also use the weedeater to trim the bushes. It's easier than a hedge trimmer, which is a bit dangerous for those who are sitting down. I got raised flower beds as well, which allows me to garden or grow flowers and be able to reach everything without having to bend over.
With the power chair, i can raise the seat so i can better reach the counter to prepare foods and cook. Thanks

You can get trays with built in cushions on them, maybe that could work?

I have a lot of the same tips as you which are great but I use different products/items. I use a kitchen wooden cutting board (instead of a plastic tray that you use) that practically lives on my lap when I’m home. My morning coffee is on it if my cat isn’t on my lap😻. I have a “catch all net “ for a lack of a better word, that’s velcro underneath my chair. I keep my 32oz water bottle in the net below me. I’ll keep my cell phone there too a lot of the time. Prescription sunglasses. Anything really! On my door that takes me outside I have a handle on the opposite side of the door knob. This way when I’m trying to close the door behind me I just grab my small “kitchen cabinet handle knob” and pull it to close my main door behind me. (You use a string). When I go grocery shopping I use a hard shell plastic laundry basket that’s rectangular. I just put it on my lap as I zip around the store placing items in my basket. The laundry basket is awesome to use to bring in other bags of stuff too from your car. I do omad (one meal a day) *mostly* to keep my weight in check along with low carbs, low sugar, use stevia.

Great video Freddo! Standing frame - who knew. Will look out for one. Couple of tips I have. I bought a small bamboo tray with a lip from IKEA then added a strip of self adhesive velcro to the back. It now attaches below my chair to the velcro on the back of the dangling seat pouch. It's always there when I need it. Another idea. sick of seeing my wife struggling to mow the lawn I built a remote control lawn mower out of an old battery powered lawn mower, old wheelchair frame and powered wheelchair motors. I love being outside mowing the lawn. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

That standing unit. Use it as often as you possibly are able to each day. Journal how many times and your duration. Don't over extend yourself just be consistent. Six months from now you see the benefits. I guarantee you other people will notice the physical change in you. Standing off and on throughout the day is absolutely the best thing you can do for your health. It helps prevent pressure sores, increases your lung capacity, increases blood flow to all your vital organs the list goes on and on just be consistent and you will reap the benefits.

Another great video Freddo. I couldn't survive without my plastic tray. It has saved my clothes from constantly being wet or worse, grease stains from carrying food. Your artwork is outstanding. I love it! For snow I use a long telescoping snow removal tool. It's only about 2 feet long, but telescopes to about six feet to get the windscreen. I love your crate and am going to try to find one for groceries instead of trying to balance bags on my lap. Thanks again for your humor and wonderful suggestions.

I’ve had a shitty week well three months really. I found out my best friend passed away October 3rd but her dod was December 10, 2020 and then the friend I went to Arizona with he passed away on December 1, 2021 and on the one year anniversary date of my best friends untimely horrific death my aunt passed away due to Alzheimers. Not feeling much gratitude right now but I’m sure as time move forward as it does I’ll become a little less depressed.
